As the clear and melodious cry pierced through the oppressive clouds and reached everyone's ears, they instinctively lifted their heads, gazing up at the high sky.
The heavy clouds blocked the previously gentle sunshine, casting a gloomy, grey hue. The colossal noise caused by the Thousand-Spine Rock Lizard further weighed on everyone's hearts.
Where did that sound just come from?
Yet in the next moment, the largest dark cloud was split apart, like a black cotton candy being halved, slowly revealing a majestic figure.
The sky suddenly brightened.
An exquisite and delicate body came into view, covered in feathers of interwoven gold and red, with a pale golden flame prominently burning. Its slender tail feathers dragged along a dazzling trail of seven-color light, scattering rainbow fragments across the sky.
As it flew by, the dark clouds dispersed, the sky brightened, and sunlight poured onto the earth.
Beautiful, so beautiful.
