With Aileen's assistance, finding the resonance frequency was effortless. The magic prism directly converted the audio into pulsing spectral bands, visually apparent.
So the challenge was how to use the "Summoned Whale" skill to launch an ultrasound of the same frequency.
Summoned Whale is triggered by clapping in water; here, it should be tapping the machine, but no matter how you clap, you can't go insane enough to match the machine's rhythm, can you?
Then try large bands, where when the machine spins ten times, a hand clap counts as another form of synchrony, right?
With the theoretical direction in place, it's time for repeated attempts. Failure, failure, continuous failure... but it doesn't matter, so long as there's success somewhere...
Unintentionally, Chun's clap made the machine bed's vibration sound suddenly increase, and some oil and rust on the machine shook and lifted like dust!
