Gabriel said gleefully, "See? This is my woman's intuition hitting dead on. Way better than that electro-shock foaming guy."
Raphael coughed dryly. "Foam's not just coming out of his mouth, you know…"
Metatron exclaimed, "Don't change the subject—what am I supposed to do then?"
Michael said, "Obviously, deny everything!"
Metatron closed the book. "Your Honor, I really didn't do it!"
The judge said in a deep voice, "Then you will not be found guilty."
Metatron said with rock‑solid conviction, "Even though I'm super jealous of these merits, I really didn't do any of it."
The judge said in a low voice, "Looks like the evidence is insufficient. The trial will be postponed."
Metatron panicked. "Postponed until when?"
The judge waved his hand. "Until there's further development in the case."
With that, Metatron was pushed out of the white hall and shoved back into the little black room.
