Bai Pu knew there were enemy Awakened present.
When Anhalt ordered the charge, the overly eager Black Hawk fired a [Nail Spike] arrow, leaving a record in Bai Pu's battle information: [You have been attacked by the Awakened Black Hawk's Combat Skill 'Nail Spike.' You may defend yourself against Black Hawk and his teammates...] or something to that effect.
Black Hawk was working hard because the King of Denmark was critical to the 18K Team.
Black Hawk didn't seek to kill Bai Pu, as long as he could interrupt Bai Pu's actions and save the king, it would be a great achievement!
However, Bai Pu was not disturbed by the arrow.
The Volcano Shield spreading across his body absorbed the damage from the ranged attack. His own [Heavy Armor Mastery] and other anti-knockback passive abilities also rendered Black Hawk's [Nail Spike] ineffective, merely creating a ripple on the shield's surface.
