Lian Ji called over a few of the young men building the house to have lunch together.
The Peregrine Falcon ate one whole lamb by itself, and the remaining one was shared by ten people.
When the young men saw that lunch consisted of two whole roast lambs, they were stunned and gulped audibly.
"Brother Xu, are we really eating this for lunch?" they exclaimed in shock.
Xu Binghu nodded, "Yes, Little White has quite an appetite and needs a whole one to himself. We have one lamb for ten of us, which should be enough, but if not, there's also..."
They had been orphaned from a young age and had never eaten such good food before.
For a moment, they stood frozen, not knowing what to do.
"Everyone, please don't be shy. You are helping us build the house, so providing you with food and drink is the least we can do," said Lian Ji.
Then, she brought out the vegetables that the villagers had given them that morning.
"Of course, we should not just eat meat, but also have some vegetables."
