Hilia didn't think so.
She had no grievances with the dark elves, it couldn't possibly be because of her actions to save the elf citizens that made the dark elves consider her a thorn in their side, right?
In a way, dark elves are a kind of mixed-blood elf, except they've 'fallen'.
Hilia didn't know much about dark elves, but she also felt the dark elf organization lacked the motive to attack.
Rather than the dark elves randomly coming out of hiding to assassinate her, Hilia felt this dark elf was sent by the Elf Royal Court with the purpose of getting rid of her as a 'thorn', conveniently blaming it on the dark elf organization.
If the dark elf organization was a terror group, they probably wouldn't mind taking the blame.
But that's only if they succeed.
