Liu Family Gully, a small village in Qinling Mountain.
Qin Feng and Zhang Qiang scrambled down the mountain, and as soon as they reached the village entrance, they saw a clear stream. Without a word, they jumped in and started gulping down the water.
Mountain paths are always like this—look pretty close, but you twist and turn, and by the time you're down, it's already midnight.
Not sure if it's because the mountain's closer to the moon, but the moonlight at night is so bright, casting the whole village in an eerily quiet glow.
Just to be safe, the two didn't take the main road and snuck in through the cornfields.
The driver just said someone in the village would help out, but Zhang Qiang and Qin Feng had no clue where to meet them.
After entering the village, they crept around, scared the cops might be lying in wait.
It felt just like when the Japs entered the village back in the day.
