He Mei was busy in the kitchen for a while and soon brought out steaming hot dumplings.
The heater in the room was on full blast, and she changed into a dark red satin nightgown. She also opened some red wine and clinked glasses with Qin Feng; it was the New Year's Eve dinner.
The dumplings were well made, with thin skin and lots of filling, very delicious.
Qin Feng ate two big bowls, making Xiaonannan stare wide-eyed while reaching out her little hand to pat his belly.
She ate dumplings, glancing at Qin Feng with a cheeky grin and asked, "Uncle Qin, will you be Nannan's daddy?"
Qin Feng and He Mei both froze, laughing awkwardly, unsure how to answer her.
He Mei quickly stood up, changing the subject, "Nannan, it's getting late. Let's go to bed, and tomorrow we'll go shopping together!"
"Really?"
Xiaonannan widened her eyes.
He Mei smiled, "Of course, tomorrow we'll buy lots of new clothes and delicious food for Nannan!"
Xiaonannan happily said, "Okay, I'll listen to mom!"
