Actually, Ye Tianfan didn't think too differently.
Because from the feel of it, the strength of this Heaven-Swallowing Python is really not enough to deal with Taichu Zhenren. Ye Tianfan even thinks that if he is careful enough, he could handle this creature from beyond the wall, which is this Heaven-Swallowing Python.
After all, this Heaven-Swallowing Python can act mighty within the wall, but outside, it's just a little brother. So, after coming outside the wall, it shouldn't be able to devour any creature from beyond the wall. It's likely that every creature the python encounters outside is stronger than it.
For it to have survived to this point, the time hasn't been easy, so its strength is not much higher than when it was inside.
Therefore, Ye Tianfan feels he can take on this creature from beyond the wall.
Besides, if it's about creatures from beyond the wall that can be fought, Ye Tianfan feels it's better for him to take the attack.
