Chapter 255 - Your Battle Power Is Clearly 6,000 Lower Than Mine

That so-called "Prince Combat Style" might look overwhelmingly violent and full of firepower on the surface — but in practice, its actual results are rather disappointing.

Up to this point, not a single opponent has ever been defeated head-on by Vegeta using his "Prince Combat Style."

"Success!" gasped several Namekians, panting heavily as they stared into the billowing smoke after their combined attack. "We finally took him down!"

"He's fine," said only Puru, who could still clearly sense the enemy's ki — it hadn't weakened at all. In fact, it had grown even stronger.

As if to confirm Puru's words, the smoke gradually dispersed, revealing Turles' unharmed body. The Namekian who had clung to him during the explosion slid limply to the ground, barely clinging to life.

Turles casually wiped his nose and sneered, his tone dripping with mockery.

"Trash is still trash. No matter how many you gather, garbage remains garbage."

The difference in power levels was simply too vast — and combined with the Namekians' poor combat techniques, they couldn't inflict any meaningful damage on Turles.

While everyone's attention was fixed on the battlefield, none of them noticed the ground beneath Naruto's feet loosen slightly, as though something had just slipped underground.

Earth Release.

Meanwhile, on the towering Spirit Tree, several sparse Spirit Fruits now hung from its massive branches.

A hand slowly extended from the tree trunk, plucked one of the fruits, and then the bark twisted as a figure emerged from within.

Wood Release.

Who else could it be but Naruto?

Even in the world of Dragon Ball, ninjutsu could still have an effect — though most attack-type jutsu were too slow to land a hit, except for close-range lightning techniques.

However, support-type ninjutsu remained quite useful.

By using Shadow Clones to confuse the enemy, then combining Earth Release for burrowing and Wood Release for concealment, and suppressing his chakra signature enough, even a scouter couldn't detect Naruto's real body.

After all, creating a clone with a mere 500 battle power reading was child's play for him.

"So this ordinary-looking fruit actually holds the power to double one's battle strength…" Naruto plucked one of the Spirit Fruits, examined it carefully instead of eating it right away, and then sealed it into a blank scroll.

There weren't many fruits — maybe a dozen or so in total.

"I wonder how its effect compares to a Chakra Fruit?"

Both the Spirit Tree and the God Tree grow by draining the life energy of planets, and their fruits — Spirit Fruits and Chakra Fruits — both greatly enhance those who consume them.

The difference was that a Spirit Tree's fruit quality and quantity depended on the number of living beings on its planet, whereas a God Tree produced only a single fruit.

"Naruto, I want one of those fruits too," came Kurama's voice, unusually serious. "My instincts tell me… if I eat one, it'll grant me unimaginable power."

"Is that so? Then I'll save one for you," Naruto replied.

With a few swift motions, he harvested all the Spirit Fruits from the tree.

When he plucked the last one, he didn't seal it — instead, he lifted it to his lips and took a small bite.

The instant he swallowed, a heat surged through his abdomen. Power — vast and intense — flooded his entire body.

"So strong…"

But at that same moment, Turles, who had been toying with the Namekians, suddenly felt uneasy. His gaze snapped toward the Spirit Tree.

As Naruto took the final fruit, Turles' sense of foreboding deepened. It felt as though something vital had been stolen from him.

Could someone have gone after the Spirit Fruits?

He pressed the button on his scouter — everything read as normal.

Even so, he couldn't shake his unease. After all, those fruits were the key to his power.

"My patience has run out," he muttered coldly.

With a sweep of his hand, he unleashed a massive energy blast. The Namekians scattered, but the shockwave still caught them, injuring everyone badly though none fatally.

Without even glancing at the fallen warriors, Turles rocketed off toward the Spirit Tree.

"Flash Cannon!"

At that instant, Puru — who hadn't joined the earlier assault — moved. He gathered every ounce of his ki into his palms and fired it all at once toward Turles.

He didn't know why, but his instincts screamed that he had to stop him.

"Impressive… to think Puru, second only to Nail, has grown this strong," murmured the other Namekians as they watched the massive energy wave. "This time we've got him for sure!"

"You pests really were up to something," Turles snarled.

As the searing blast rushed toward him, he merely lifted his right hand.

The city-leveling energy sphere struck his palm — and stopped.

"Useless," he said flatly.

He clenched his hand, and the energy vanished instantly.

Puru's full-power strike hadn't even scratched him.

The gap between 18,000 and 8,000 battle power was absolute — just like between Nappa and Vegeta.

Vegeta could annihilate Nappa with a single blow.

Turles crushed Puru in moments, half-destroying his body.

"Die!"

As Turles spread his palm to finish Puru off—

Beep-beep-beep!

His scouter blared an alarm. A number appeared on the display:

Battle Power: 12,000.

"So someone did steal my fruit."

Furious, Turles glared around at the battered Namekians and raised his right hand. Energy began gathering in his palm.

"You'll all die for my stolen fruit!"

Just as he was about to release the blast, a hand firmly caught his wrist.

"Eh? Is that guy your twin brother?" one of the Namekians — rescued by a Naruto clone — asked, turning to look back.

But as he turned, the clone vanished into a puff of smoke.

"...?" the Namekian blinked in confusion.

"You again," Turles growled, glaring at Naruto. "You actually stole my fruit? What a waste — someone like you doesn't deserve it. Is this your full power? You really think a mere 12,000 battle power can defeat me?"

Turles assumed that Naruto's 12,000 reading — shown on the scouter — was the result of consuming the fruit and unleashing his full strength.

"My true battle power," Turles declared proudly, "is 18,000!"

Naruto didn't bother replying. He simply charged in.

Turles snorted contemptuously and met him head-on — and the two clashed fiercely.

But before long—

"Impossible… impossible! Your battle power is clearly 6,000 lower than mine! Why… why can't I beat you?!"

The two fought from sky to ground and back again. Despite using all his strength, Turles couldn't gain the upper hand — in fact, Naruto steadily overpowered him.

Distracted and panicked, Turles took a heavy punch square in the chest, spitting blood.

"Could my scouter be broken?" he muttered, frantically pressing buttons. But the readings were accurate for everyone else — only Naruto still showed 12,000.

"No, your scouter's fine," Naruto said calmly. "Didn't I tell you before?"

"About what?" Turles wiped the blood from his mouth.

"That there exists a secret art capable of instantly multiplying one's battle power."

"You said that was a lie!"

"Saying it wasn't real — that was the lie. I can, in fact, double my battle power for a short time."

Naruto did know the Kaio-ken, though he wasn't even using it now — he was simply fighting with his own strength.

Just one Spirit Fruit had already boosted his power severalfold.

"Impossible!" Turles roared.

But no matter how much he struggled, he couldn't match Naruto. After several exchanges, he was beaten bloody, clutching his ribs as he coughed up another mouthful of blood.

In the vast universe, fights were different from Earth.

Out here, there was no "martial arts etiquette," only raw battle power.

On Earth, techniques and styles mattered — a weaker fighter could outmaneuver a stronger one. But in space, if your battle power was higher, you won. Period. Even a sneak attack from a weaker foe had little chance of success.

No fancy forms, no styles — just pure speed and strength.

Only rare species like the Yardrats or the Metamorans relied on techniques.

Had Naruto's power been lower, he might still have stood a chance. But with things reversed, Turles never had any hope.

"What's the matter? Didn't believe me?" Naruto said mockingly, twisting the knife further.

The provocation made Turles tremble with rage.

"You think I'm out of options just because your battle power's higher?" he snarled.

He looked up at the sky — but there was no moon.

No moon… but still…

Gripping his left wrist with his right hand, Turles summoned a glowing orb crackling with electricity and hurled it upward.

"It won't let me use my full power — but it'll be more than enough to deal with you."

The orb exploded with a boom, spreading a strange, luminous glow across the heavens.

The light had no effect on the Namekians or Naruto — but Turles' body began to swell rapidly.

Thick fur sprouted, his eyes turned blood-red, and a massive tail thrashed behind him.

Great Ape Transformation — Turles!

"Behold! This is the true power of a Saiyan!" he bellowed with mad laughter as his transformation completed.

When a Saiyan sees the full moon, they transform into a Great Ape — a tenfold boost in power. It's every Saiyan's ultimate trump card.

Even without a real moon, a Saiyan can still trigger the transformation by creating an artificial one — the orb Turles threw mimicked lunar radiation.

Though it couldn't grant the full tenfold boost, it still multiplied his power six to eight times.

Turles' battle power now exceeded 140,000.

"ROOOOOOOOAAAAAAR!"

The Great Ape slammed its fists against its chest and let out a thunderous roar. White light gathered in its mouth before erupting into destructive beams, turning the surroundings into a sea of fire.

But in his transformed state, Turles didn't even attack Naruto or the others — he simply rampaged mindlessly, destroying everything in sight.

That was the flaw of the transformation: power at the cost of reason.

Even if he had boosted himself with Spirit Fruits, a low-class warrior was still a low-class warrior — losing his mind was inevitable.

A beast with over 100,000 battle power.

"Naruto, he's lost all reason," Puru said, having barely regenerated thanks to a Namekian's unique ability to survive if their core isn't destroyed. But the process consumed nearly all his energy — his power level was now under 2,000.

He looked at the rampaging Great Ape, heart aching. "We can't let that monster keep destroying things! Namek won't survive this much damage!"

Even a warrior with a mere 10,000 battle power could destroy a planet with ease — if the Great Ape kept rampaging, not even Namek would endure.

Namek had only just been saved from destruction once before — now with both the Spirit Tree and this Great Ape, it might not survive again.

"Leave it to me," Naruto said firmly. "I'll deal with him."

In truth, Turles' mindless transformation made him easier to handle — Naruto knew well the Great Ape's weakness: cut off the tail.

Without waiting for Puru's reply, he shot off toward the raging beast.

"Puru, who is that guy?" the other Namekians asked as they approached, watching Naruto fly off.

"A friend from Earth," Puru answered with quiet confidence.
