The body of the Red Dog trembled slightly. It had been an entire ten thousand years, and even ten thousand years ago he was a True Monarch, but he had not condensed a Dharma Form or broken through to Great Power in all those years.
It wasn't that he couldn't, but that he didn't dare.
Once he broke through to the Dharma Form Realm, his devouring desire would inevitably surge once more. He very likely could be devoured by his desire, becoming a Fierce Beast that only knows how to devour everything.
For a full ten thousand years, he remained within the Demon Subduing Celestial Army, waiting for the person his master spoke of while hunting Celestial Demons. All those Celestial Demons were devoured by him to alleviate his devouring urge.
