"What exactly are these three guys trying to do?"
Roya fixed his gaze on the three Star Gods in subspace, sinking into deep thought.
After drawing his attention, the three Star Gods no longer made any unusual movements. Instead, they simply performed some strange, mechanical motions within a small range.
"It seems like… some kind of information related to spatial positioning?"
Roya pondered for a moment, then a sudden spark of inspiration lit up in his mind—he had thought of a way to test it.
With a thought, the projection map of subspace unfolded fully within his consciousness. When his spiritual sense collided the movement patterns of the three Star Gods against the subspace projection, it indeed locked onto a peculiar region in a most mysterious way.
Even for the ever-shifting subspace, this region appeared far too bizarre.
Because within this vast area, as large as an entire pirate star system, there wasn't a single spiritual projection!
There wasn't even any subspace energy here—only a dreadful silence of death that made one's heart restless!
And at the very core of this region lay a void the size of half a pirate star—leaving it impossible to tell whether it was truly emptiness, or some incomprehensible, terrifying spiritual entity lurking there.
Roya's brows furrowed deeply. He split off a wisp of spiritual sense, attempting to cut directly into the edge of the indicated region of subspace via the projection map.
Yet upon touching the subspace projection, this wisp of spiritual sense struck what felt like a tangible barrier. He could neither perceive the material world, nor enter subspace as he normally could.
"This projection map really does have deeper applications!"
Instead of fear, Roya felt joy. His spirit lifted, and he gradually increased the power of his spiritual sense.
The barrier beneath his touch grew ever clearer.
With another thought, the wisp of spiritual sense he had released transformed into a drill, tirelessly boring into that wall-like obstruction.
As he poured in more power, the drilling speed quickened.
At last, the pressure on his spiritual sense suddenly lightened—he had successfully broken through the barrier.
Roya felt as though this single wisp of spiritual sense had been folded tens of thousands of times before finally achieving this miraculous effect—piercing spatial limits and "tracing the map" to its destination!
Familiar subspace energy instantly surged along his spiritual sense, flooding into his body, circulating through him, and then—through the natural connection between his spirit and his projection—merging into his spiritual projection.
But unfortunately, this region's subspace energy was nearly exhausted. The final dregs were completely drained in just a few seconds, leaving nothing to serve as a convenient source of power.
The reason for this depletion, however, was immediately revealed under the perception of his spiritual sense!
Three pyramidal tombs, locked together in a strange formation!
The grand mausoleum of the Silent King, long hidden in subspace!
At that sight, Roya finally understood—the blank region on the subspace projection wasn't truly empty. Rather, the Silent King's spiritual projection possessed such a peculiar property that it rendered the entire area into this eerie void of deathly silence!
Combining what he now saw with the data on the projection map, Roya instantly drew a conclusion that shook him to his core.
The Silent King's spiritual projection had reached an astonishing size—half a pirate star!
Previously, the largest spiritual projection Roya had ever discovered in subspace was only comparable to a stretch of mountain ranges.
But half the size of a planet?!
What did that even mean?!
With so much subspace energy already refined and absorbed, even if the Silent King's attack power were only at the stellar level, he could still shatter hundreds of thousands of planets in succession with a single breath!
Such reserves of subspace energy were utterly terrifying.
And that wasn't all—the Silent King's spiritual projection clearly bore a unique and dreadful quality, one entirely opposed to the essence of life itself.
His psychic attacks, without doubt, would carry unimaginable, horrific effects against all flesh-and-blood beings.
Truly worthy of the title—the great sacred monarch of the Necrons. The more one learned of him, the more overwhelming his aura of death and despair, the harvestor of all living flesh!
Just as Roya was marveling at this, he suddenly felt an extreme aura of death erupt from the tri-linked pyramid tombs, surging toward his spiritual sense.
"To notice my presence from such a distance?"
Roya's heart tightened. He hurriedly retracted his spiritual sense until it was nearly undetectable.
It was clear—the Silent King had only sensed something, but hadn't locked onto a definite target.
Otherwise, instead of this carpet-style sweep to locate the anomaly, he would have launched a direct psychic strike.
The aura of death swept past, lingered on nothing, and gradually receded back into the tri-pyramid tomb.
It was much like a passive detection system, instantly unleashing a scan at the slightest irregularity in order to pinpoint a potential enemy.
Fortunately, its penetrative acuity was not enough to detect Roya's carefully suppressed spiritual sense.
Yet Roya suddenly realized something strange about this psychic scan.
It hadn't originated from the Silent King's own reserves of spiritual energy—but had directly drawn upon subspace energy itself!
Because the tri-pyramid tomb overlapped almost perfectly with the Silent King's half-planet-sized spiritual projection, the boundary between physical entities entering subspace and pure projections was extremely difficult to discern.
This psychic scan was the same—it had nearly deceived even him as to its true source.
Only by instinctively parsing and re-parsing its energy flow did he discover the truth: the scan was powered by subspace energy refined and aggregated within the Silent King's spiritual projection!
"The Silent King! He's already brushing against the threshold of subspace traversal!"
Roya shuddered violently, at last connecting the information he had parsed from the Star Dragon's remains with what he now personally witnessed—arriving at this earth-shattering conclusion.
"So this region of subspace corresponds in the material world to the star domain where the Silent King was born! The former homeworld of the Fearless Dynasty!"
"To think, after the Fearless Dynasty completed their ascension into biomechanical metal and became Necrons, enemies of all fleshly races—the first world they harvested was their very own homeworld, the Fearless Star!"
"And not just that star—the entire star system, its sun and every planet, was drained dry, transformed into a cosmic void!"
Roya's heart trembled violently. And in that instant of shaken focus, his spiritual sense revealed the faintest disturbance—triggering yet another scan from the tri-pyramid tomb, this one sharper and more precise.
With a flick of will, Roya pulled his spiritual sense back, withdrawing from subspace and returning to the projection map.
