Chapter 395 - Chapter 391: Act 2 Ends: Destruction of Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan

Rain passed through her like she was not truly part of this layer of reality. Her golden hair hung silently, unmoved by the storm, her purple eyes calm yet unreadable as they gazed at the two lifeless bodies on the ground.

She stood there quietly.

Her next words were never meant to be heard by anyone.

"The gods of this world play favorites…"

Her gaze drifted beyond the rain and thunder, past the mortal battlefield, toward something far more distant—

toward the Asura God who peered into fate, and the Sea God who makes things easier for their chosen protagonist..

"Some even toy with their favorites."

This time, her thoughts brushed against another one—

the Rakshasa Goddess, who wrapped hatred and thoghts around a broken woman Bibi Dong

"Mortals living in this world are nothing more than chess pieces."

Her eyes lowered slightly.

"I had to personally intervene… discreetly saving Grandpa Crocodile, Ghost Douluo, before coming here. If I was even a moment late—"

She did not finish that sentence.

The purple glow in Qian Renxue's eyes dimmed, as if a lamp had been covered by an unseen hand.

"But does it really matter…?"

Her voice softened, almost fragile.

"Even I am not invincible."

A quiet truth echoed in her heart.

"I might only have two years left."

Two years—until the seal shattered and something incomprehensible, something that could not be defined as god, devil, or existence, would descend upon her consciousness.

She did not know if she would survive it.

Death was not an exaggeration. It was a probable outcome.

Yet—

The purple light returned, brighter than before.

Among all the chaos, calculations, and divine games, her gaze settled once more on Jiang Mo.

"Among everyone in this era… you are the most responsible. The most caring. A heart that still thinks of others, even while bleeding."

Then—

"Ha… ha… ha…"

She laughed.

The sound was light, almost amused, yet it carried an unmistakable edge—

the laughter of someone standing outside the script, watching the story unfold.

"The gods have already chosen their protagonist."

Her eyes narrowed slightly.

"And there are even reincarnated and system users… so called hidden protagonists"

Qian Renxue clasped her hands together, her purple eyes shining with an intensity that made the rain itself seem dull.

"Then why can't I create a protagonist myself?"

She turned.

Her steps carried her back toward the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, her hands clasped behind her back as though she were merely strolling through a garden rather than a battlefield soaked in blood and fate.

"Now, now, Jiang Mo," she murmured softly.

"You should grow stronger. Overcome this pain."

"After all… every protagonist must suffer setbacks before they truly rise."

Her final whisper dissolved into the rain, unheard by mortals, gods, and fate alike—

"I had to personally step in as the author… to erase the final act that would have led to your deaths."

"Otherwise, a continent-wide war would have erupted."

"The Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan cannot be destroyed by another force—"

With that, her figure blurred.

Like bubbles bursting in the rain, Qian Renxue vanished, leaving behind only thunder, grief, and a story that had quietly been rewritten.

No one heard any of her words as she went away, yet few seconds later —

A collective gasp erupted.

"What—?"

Jiang Mo, his head lowered in grief and frustration, was startled by the sudden intake of breath around him.

Lu Ping, standing beside him, pointed upward, his voice breaking.

"Look up!"

Jiang Mo raised his head.

What he saw made his breath stop.

A meteor— No, calling it a meteor was an insult to its scale.

It was a colossal mass of rock, blotting out the clouds, more than a hundred times larger than the meteors that had fallen earlier. Its surface burned red and gold, friction igniting the rain itself into hissing steam as it descended with unstoppable momentum.

For a heartbeat, both Lu Ping and Jiang Mo were frozen.

Then survival instincts screamed.

"Retreat!" Lu Ping roared.

"Everyone fall back—get to the river valley!"

The shout snapped everyone out of their stupor.

The Twilight Hermit members moved with everything they had left, carrying the injured, dragging the exhausted, pouring every last bit of soul power into their legs. Mud splashed, rain blurred their vision, lungs burned—

It felt like an eternity.

By the time they reached the hill-lined river valley, the ground beneath their feet trembled faintly, as though the world itself were holding its breath.

Lu Ping stood there, soaked and panting, staring at the distant horizon.

"This…" he muttered hoarsely, "…this is the power of a god."

Jiang Mo did not respond.

Instead, he raised the binoculars in his trembling hands, his gaze fixed on the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan.

Something felt wrong, not a single clan member of Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan was fleeing.

When the image came into focus, Jiang Mo's pupils shrank violently.

At the gates of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan— A golden-haired girl with purple eyes stood calmly.

Twelve wings spread faintly behind her, indistinct yet undeniable.

She looked straight toward his direction.

Then— Qian Renxue bowed.

It was slow, elegant, and deliberate—

as though acknowledging an audience after finishing a performance.

BOOOM

The next instant—The massive meteor struck.

Light swallowed everything.

The noise of clash that followed—it was the roar of annihilation. The earth collapsed inward, and an incandescent shockwave surged outward, erasing everything.

When the blinding brilliance finally faded— There was nothing left.

Only a vast, smoking crater of a very wide radius where the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan had once stood.

(Author note: Qian Renxue's attitude regarding future is an act for the being controlling Electrolux. And the reason other Titled Douluos cannot arrive is with the fact, someone else, had intervened secretly, I won't make an entire chapter over that event but will mention later )
