"it was summer that day"
Haru woke up in a field of flowers,basking in the warm light of the sun.The nearby river flowed calmly,giving a soothing hush.the wind blew gently over the field,then Haru saw a butterfly in which he followed until.....
As the image of the butterfly slowly fades before his eyes ,he saw her.
"Is that..."
The girl saw him and gently smiled saying
"Hello,Nice to meet you"
Haru's eyes lit up that moment he saw her,her smile gave a warm feeling like the sun giving of it's radiant heat.He never felt this feeling before,the feeling of happiness,excitement,curiosity,and safety all at the same time.
"H...h.hhhhhh...H.iiiii..."
"Hmm?"
"HI!!!!"
"Oh,You don't need to shout silly"
"Sorry, it was just that-"
Haru's eyes locked into her eyes,his face became bright red as the girl sat stood there in confusion tilting her head
"What?"
"Nothing"
"By the way,what is your name?"
"Uhmmm, Haru. Can i also ask your name?"
"Call me Mika,that is how my friends call me"
"Oh,hello then Mika"
Mika smiled and asked Haru to come play with her near the river, Haru agreed to come as it was not that far from there old house. While walking near the river, Mika shouted and suddenly ran,there was a small salamander chased her. While running,he bumped to Haru and they both fell to the river,luckily it was the shallow part so they only got wet.
"Why did you suddenly pushed m-"
As Haru was prepared to yell at her,He saw Mika crying while tightly hugging him.
"Th.....e.ree.ee .wa.aa.sss...a ....salamwandewerrrrrrr"
Mika could not stop crying so Haru promised her to chase the salamander away,the salamander left as soon it saw Haru holding a stick on his hands. Mika, still shivering and hiding at the back of Haru suddenly Smiled and shouted
"YES GET AWAY!!!!"
Haru simply smiled and laughed while Mika was still jumping around,It was a happy encounter with a new friend. Mika then told Haru to go to the old tree standing beside the field of flowers,It was one of the best spots to view the scenery and also relax under the shade of the trees minty green leaves. While resting in there, Mika then asked Haru
"Will you remember this?"
"Yes"
"That's nice,I will also remember this scenery"
As both of them sit under the tree,A blast of wind flew right by and Mika's hat flew. Haru then Chased the hat and almost got it but suddenly.....
Haru woke up stretching his hands upward
"It was all a dream? But I think that was a memory of mine when i was still young"
