Chapter 361 - Chapter 12: The Might of the Dragon King

After Magellan was defeated, no one else dared to stand in Rosinante's way.

Many of the jailers, upon seeing Magellan fall, looked as though their faith itself had been shattered.

They were so stunned that they couldn't even speak.

Some hurriedly grabbed Den Den Mushi and reported to Marine Headquarters that Impel Down was under attack, that Magellan had been defeated, and that the situation had become extremely critical.

But no matter how Impel Down reacted—

Rosinante had already arrived at the lowest level of the prison.

The very bottom floor of the Great Prison Impel Down.

The place commonly known as...

Eternal Hell.

Everyone imprisoned here was a criminal with a bounty exceeding one hundred million.

Rosinante strolled leisurely through this so-called Eternal Hell.

Compared to the upper floors, this level looked almost plain and ordinary.

But that was precisely the point.

The true purpose of this place was not torture of the body...

It was to force prisoners to endure endless, crushing loneliness.

"Huh? A new jailer?"

"He's not even wearing a guard uniform. The jailers these days are getting lazier and lazier."

"No, wait... there was some commotion upstairs just now. Could he be an intruder?"

"How's that possible? This is Impel Down's Eternal Hell! With monsters like Magellan and Shiryu guarding this place, how could anyone make it all the way down here?"

As soon as they saw Rosinante walk in, the prisoners all began talking in shock.

Rosinante kept walking deeper.

And the deeper he went...

The stronger the pirates imprisoned there became.

Then suddenly—

He stopped in front of one particular cell.

"Yo," Rosinante said with a smile. "You look like you've been having a rough time."

The man inside the cell heard that familiar voice and slowly raised his head.

The instant he saw Rosinante—

His whole body trembled.

His face filled with utter disbelief.

"Y-Your Majesty?!" Bins cried out.

"How's life in here?" Rosinante asked with a grin.

"Way worse than our old black rooms," Bins replied with a laugh.

"Then if it's that boring..." Rosinante said lightly, "let's go."

As he spoke, Rosinante casually reached out and tapped one finger against the bars of the cell.

In the next instant—

The bars shattered.

The surrounding prisoners all cried out in shock.

Those prison bars might have looked ordinary...

But they were specially forged by the Marines.

Even these pirates, all with bounties over one hundred million, had been completely unable to bend them, break them, or damage them in the slightest.

Yet Rosinante had merely touched them—

And the bars had cracked and exploded apart.

Then he reached out again.

A violet glow gathered in his hand, condensing into a long blade.

Rosinante raised that purple blade of light and gave it a casual swing toward Bins.

The Seastone shackles on Bins's wrists and ankles instantly fell away.

"Hey, kid! Breaking someone out, huh? Why not bring me too? I'll charge the front lines for you!"

"Yeah, kid! Outside, there are monsters like Magellan and Shiryu, plus all the jailers and Jailer Beasts. No matter how strong you are, there's no way one or two people can escape Impel Down alone! Take us with you, and your chances of escaping will be much higher!"

"Brat! I'm a pirate with a bounty of 370 million! Let me out, and I guarantee no one on the seas will ever dare mess with you again!"

"Kid, if you free me, I'll follow you from now on!"

"You little punk! Let me out already! Without me, there's no way you're getting out of Impel Down alive!"

The moment the prisoners realized Rosinante wasn't a jailer—and that he actually had the power to free Bins—

Their eyes all lit up.

They instantly saw opportunity.

Threats.

Temptation.

Promises.

Intimidation.

They threw out every trick they had, one after another.

"Shut up."

Rosinante's voice turned cold.

"You're all too noisy."

The instant he spoke—

A terrifying pressure erupted from his body.

Everyone there felt as though an invisible, colorless dragon had burst out from Rosinante's body and surged through the prison.

It shot through the bodies of every prisoner in an instant.

The moment that dragon-like pressure passed through them—

Every single prisoner's eyes filled with terror.

Some fainted on the spot.

Even those who didn't faint were left dizzy and shaken.

Only a very small handful remained conscious.

And among all of them...

Only one person truly resisted Rosinante's pressure head-on.

And one had to remember—

This was Eternal Hell.

Everyone locked here was a pirate with a bounty over one hundred million.

These were not ordinary cannon fodder.

They were all captains who had weathered countless storms, men with iron wills.

Even powerful Conqueror's Haki usually wouldn't be enough to simply terrify them.

And yet now—

They looked as if they had been struck by endless horror itself.

Many had been scared unconscious.

"This... is Conqueror's Haki?!"

"The disposition of a king? No... this isn't just potential anymore. This is a true king!"

"What terrifying Conqueror's Haki... it actually carries the pressure of a dragon!"

"I really saw it! It felt like a dragon roared straight through me!"

The few pirates still conscious cried out in shock.

In the world of One Piece, people could usually only use Conqueror's Haki instinctively.

Even skilled users could only control it in relatively simple ways.

But the ninja world was different.

There, many shinobi had refined killing intent and pressure into terrifyingly sophisticated arts.

And when illusion techniques were added on top...

The power of one's presence could rise to an entirely different level.

The move Rosinante had just used—

The Might of the Dragon King—

Was a technique created by combining Conqueror's Haki with genjutsu-like illusion principles.

Compared to ordinary bursts of Haki, its intimidation was several times stronger.

That was why even pirates with bounties over one hundred million could not escape being overwhelmed, terrified, or outright knocked unconscious.

"Oh?" Rosinante said, a faint smile appearing on his face. "There's actually someone here who can resist."

He turned his gaze to the side.

"Looks like this prison isn't filled with complete trash after all."

At that moment, from a nearby cell—

Another tyrannical pressure rose up.

It was equally domineering, pushing back against Rosinante's Dragon King's Might.

Then a calm voice sounded from within that cell.

"Kid... what terrifying Conqueror's Haki. And what exquisite control over it."

The voice was deep and steady.

"Just now, the Piercing Knight Bins called you 'Your Majesty.'"

A brief pause.

"If I'm not mistaken..."

"You're the Dragon King, Donquixote Rosinante."

"The man the Marines declared dead."

"The man who was supposed to have vanished from this world."
