Chapter 41 - We Don’t Give a Fuck

A waitress in a white and black bartender uniform brought some drinks and glasses to the group's table before going away once more.

The table consisted of Eva, Katrina, Andrew, Jessica, and Austin. Everyone seemed to be having fun and was drinking happily while chatting away.

After some time, Andrew noticed that there were more and more people arriving at the party, which led him to feel curious about why there weren't any other models coming to greet and socialize with them.

"Say, I'm curious... Why are we the only ones sitting at this table? I didn't notice it at first, but the table you chose is also away from the centre of the party." He questioned, looking around them while taking a sip of his whiskey.

Katrina looked at the people gathered in the centre of the lounge and replied to Andrew's question. "It's simple. Because we don't give a fuck."

"Huh? What do you mean?" Andrew frowned, unable to understand what she meant.

"She meant exactly what she said, Andrew. We don't give a fuck." Eva chimed in with a giggle while pouring more alcohol into her glass.

However, Andrew still couldn't seem to figure out what they were getting at. After all, if they didn't care, why did they even come to an event like this in the first place?

As if reading his mind, Eva continued, "It's like this, Andrew. There are many different kinds of people in our industry. Some prefer to do the job properly and work hard to improve their skills. While others prefer to hang out with important people, sucking up to them and doing everything they ask."

"And unfortunately," Katrina added, "both kinds of people have to do certain things for the sake of their careers. Some, however, choose someone who fits their fancy and matches their preferences—like us, for example. But that also makes us look arrogant, or as if we think too highly of ourselves. That's why others in the agency treat us like outsiders."

"Hmmm…" Andrew paused for a moment. "So, in other words, you don't sleep around with most of the bigwigs, only with the ones you actually like? And that makes the other clients dissatisfied when they want more than you're willing to give? Which also ends up creating a gap between you and the other people who are trying to suck up to them, right?"

"Pretty much," Eva confirmed, taking another sip from her glass. "Anyway, we don't really care about all of that. We just do whatever we want to do and ignore everyone else. It's not like our job requires us to sleep with people, after all. Most of them do that willingly in order to get more roles and exposure. But it doesn't make them better than us."

Andrew nodded as he understood their situation. It was similar to what Jessica said to him before she left their house, that she never slept with a client for anything. Instead, she did it because she was attracted to them.

And judging by the way Katrina and Eva were talking, they both shared the same opinion and didn't see anything wrong with it, either.

Katrina noticed Andrew's silence, and she couldn't help but lean in closer to him and ask in a whisper, "What are you thinking about, Andrew? Do you think that we're bad girls?"

Her hot breath against his ear snapped him back to reality, and Andrew gave her a warm smile as he looked into her beautiful amber eyes. "No, not at all. It's nothing like that. I'm just surprised at how mature and honest you guys are. Most of the people would try to lie or sugar-coat things, but you girls don't do that at all."

"Hehe! What can I say? We are mature women. So, we do what we want, how we want, without worrying about other people's opinions and such." Katrina grinned seductively and licking her red, glossy lips. "It would be nice if you were honest with us as well, Andrew. Because I don't like liars in the slightest."

"Hah, you don't need to worry about that. I'm always honest when it comes to things like this. Like if you asked me whether I want you, I'd say yes without hesitation, for example." Andrew shot back with a smirk while eyeing her large breasts that were almost falling out of her dress.

"Oh? I see that someone is quite straightforward too. And that's good," Katrina purred and leaned back in her chair, taking the glass to her lips for another drink. "But don't get too ahead of yourself, darling. It takes more than just words and nice clothes to impress me."

"I wasn't trying to impress you." Andrew replied. "I was just stating facts."

With those words, he raised his own glass and emptied his drink in a single gulp, enjoying the way the strong liquor burned the back of his throat as he swallowed it.

On the other hand, Eva looked at their interaction and rolled her eyes. "Hey, you two, if you have forgotten, I'm still here, you know? Why are you whispering to each other like that?"

"Don't worry, Eva. I wouldn't forget about such a beautiful woman like you sitting so close to me, hehe." Andrew chuckled and placed his hand on Eva's shoulder to reassure her.

At the same time, he also pulled her closer, so she ended up leaning on him in the process. However, she didn't resist it and let herself get pulled in without any complaints.

"Hmmm… That's good, because I would've felt sad if you ignored me. After all, who knows? Maybe you might end up enjoying yourself with me." Eva teased as she rubbed her shoulder against Andrew's chest.

As they spoke, Jessica was also enjoying herself next to Austin. She leaned on him and whispered naughty words into his ears every now and then, making him feel a bit hot under the collar.

"Austin, I still think about that kiss you gave me today. It was so hot, and it felt so amazing when you had your hand on my butt. Maybe we could recreate that scene in a private bedroom together?"

Austin gulped and shook his head. "No, Jessica. You know I don't sleep around. And it was an accident back then too."

"Accident, hm? Come on, Austin, if the last time we were a little drunk, what about today then? You sure didn't hold back when kissing me back in the studio." Jessica pressed on as she grabbed his hand. "Why are you denying yourself pleasure when it is so clearly available? Are you that shy with me? Because if you are, I can always fix that..."

However, Austin refused to budge. "Jessica, let's not talk about that, okay? How about we go dance a bit instead? I love this song!"

As the music started to blare through the club, Austin immediately used that opportunity to slip away, leaving Jessica behind by herself on the couch.

But she didn't mind at all and simply let out a chuckle, knowing that she had succeeded in making him feel flustered and embarrassed.
