Gara felt awkward being the center of attention for two women who held such important positions in the Bhumi Kingdom. All he could do was smile politely at them.
"Gara, you must be thirsty. Palapa wine has a wonderfully authentic taste." Syeila offered him a glass of wine.
Before Gara could refuse, Amara stepped in first. "No alcohol. Gara..."
She couldn't finish her sentence because Gara's pregnancy was still a secret. She quickly changed the subject.
"You should have some milk instead, Gara. This milk comes from cows raised on the grasslands of Nozama. It's very nutritious for someone whose body... gets tired easily."
Out of nowhere, Elowen appeared and handed Gara a cup of milk. Gara accepted it with a polite nod.
Meanwhile, Syeila suddenly remembered that Gara was still breastfeeding. He definitely shouldn't be drinking alcohol. She felt like she had already lost this round to Amara.
After excusing herself for a moment, she returned carrying a beautifully decorated cake.
