Chapter 12 - The green Knight

Over the next three days, I found myself waking up at the GDA headquarters, going about my routine with the team. We tried to build some camaraderie while I also worked on figuring out Monster Girl's curse. I observed that unlike the ones in JJK She uses a similar form of cursed energy when she transforms, accessing her energy and separating it from her would leave her in her current state. If I could figure out how to age her up by focusing her monster form's energy—the power she drains whenever she reverts to her younger self—and channel that cursed energy back into her, it should, in theory, work. But I'd need more time to get it right.

Right now, the guardians and I had just arrived at the headquarters.

"Hey, robot, are you buffering or something?" Rex asked.

"I was defragmenting, Rex," the robot replied.

I was just keeping an eye on the twin mothers, making sure everything was under control—and thinking about how things would go well for him, especially since I planned to prioritize Monster Girl first, so he'd have a better shot at building a body himself.

"Well, whatever. Don't miss this. Welcome to our new digs," Rex said as we stepped into the main room.

You could really feel the oppressive atmosphere emanating from the walls. I'd been here before during a massacre, so I hadn't truly experienced the place's vibe until now.

"I can't believe I'm actually here," Shrinking Ray muttered.

"It's good to be home again," Black Samson said.

"If I hear one more time about how you're an original member of the Guardians of the Globe, I swear—" Rex started, but Black Samson cut him off.

"You're going to do what, exactly?" Black Samson challenged.

"I dunno. Maybe blow something up. You're nuts," Rex shot back.

"Alright, enough. Cool it, Rex," I intervened, sensing things might escalate.

"Is it weird that I'm nervous?" Monster Girl asked, turning to Robot and me.

"Actually, no. It's okay to be nervous," I reassured her.

"I agree with the sorcerer. Nervousness is a natural feeling for a place like this," Robot added.

"Why don't you pick your jaws up off the floor? This isn't a holy site. It's your job. The sooner you start working together, the sooner people stop dying," Cecil said, suddenly teleporting in.

"Cecil, I think you missed a spot," I said, pointing to a bloodstain on one of the beams.

"Left that there as a reminder of the heroes who came before you. It stays until you prove you're as good as they were. Until then, stare at it when you think you're hot shit. Now, I have a situation," he said, teleporting away.

"Well, he was a piece of work. I'm heading out for a few hours," I announced, turning toward the door.

"When will you be back?" Robot asked.

"Not sure, probably tomorrow morning," I replied, teleporting out.

**Robot's POV**

As sorcerer teleport out of there, a strange pain gripped my chest. Still, I stayed calm. The presence of Monster Girl and the sorcerer had stirred feelings I thought were long gone. Both cursed with powers neither of them wanted, cut off from their worlds, I had overheard one of his conversations—Sorcerer wasn't from this world or universe. He I heard him whispering something about being from another universe through the phone I gave him.

Not wanting to betray his trust I kept quiet about that, And then my feelings shifted again when I meant monster girl I saw myself in Monster Girl. That's when the Moeller twin of the Plan to free them all or twins came to mind.

authors note: I had originally planned for a robot to be a male, but I didn't want to do a dirty by taking monster girl for him, so I decided to make him a female in this universe.

I collected DNA from Rex, altered it into female DNA, and went to confront the Moeller twins.

Meanwhile, Max had just teleported out of Guardians HQ, leaving his phone behind in one of the rooms. He opened a portal, stepped into his lab, and began working on a machine—trying to figure out how to grant someone immortality using the blood of the immortal.

Suddenly, someone hugged him from behind. It was Melis.

"It's good to see you again, my king," she said, her breasts pressing into the back of his head.

"You too, my queen. How long has it been?" he asked.

"Twenty long years, my love. Not a doubt in my mind that you'd come back," she replied.

"Of course I would," he said, finally looking away from his work to see her. She hadn't aged a day, still as beautiful as when he first saw her.

"So, how are the others?" he asked, referring to his children.

"Well, Alice has been doing her best to rule the kingdom. A few years ago, I decided to let her take charge, since she was ready," she said. As he stood up and walked over to her, they embraced, her hand in his.

"And the others?" he asked as they exited the main lab. Outside, scientists worked with holographic screens, displaying various experiments. Recognizing their king's return, they bowed.

"Our daughter Mira has become a skilled mediator, advancing our planets' defenses. Kamala, on the other hand, has developed technology beyond our previous capabilities. As for me, I might spend my days helping out around the palace whenever I can," she finished.

"And the girls you had before I left?" he inquired.

"They've inherited your DNA. They haven't aged much, still babies even after 20 years," she explained.

"I feared that might happen. There was a 50% chance they'd age like I do, which would take forever," he said.

"Don't worry, dear. Until they're fully grown, they'll be well taken care of," Melis assured him.

He whispered, "So, do you want a quickie before we head to meet everyone else?" as she shivered.

They were walking through the palace when she suddenly pushed him into a broom closet.

"Like you need to ask," she said, leaning in to give him a passionate kiss as he pulled her into his arms.
