(POV Change); Back at the Royal Palace, King's chamber :
King Devo appeared to be struggling in containing his bloodlust, he was squeezing his fists so hard that the crackling sounds of his joints were enough to make the maids in the room unsettled, afraid that they might be the ones to be implicated .
They let him be and were scared to even go near him while he was in this kind of state, the King was aware of that as well, if not for the fact that the situation currently didn't require any more questions and problems to arise, he would have already released all their frustration on these guys .
But luckily for the maids present, the situation was already dire enough for the king, in the end he let go of them and asked them to get out of the room, they heard him give that order in an emotionless tone of voice and they first shuddered, thinking that their demise was near .
But then they heard him telling them to get out and as if he gave them a hefty reward, they all fled the room in a hurry, so hurry in fact to the extent that they were even pushing one another, the King gave them his back, so he wasn't probably able to witness this, but even if he did witness it, there wasn't much he can do about it currently .
Currently he was more engrossed in expressing his frustration with the current situation, he wanted to kill the ant that dared to defy his majesty, but he kept feeling threatened by the mere presence of that ant, so he really didn't dare to go ahead and test the strength of that weird Callen Loon from the Dorell family .
At least not now, when his plan was almost ready to fruition, thinking like this, the King suddenly pulled something out of his Spatial Storage Equipment, the ring on his middle finger began to glow slightly and then a Red Orb appeared out of it and began hovering in front of him .
The glow of the orb was enough to dye the the room completely red and under the glow of that orb and the already frenzied expression on the King's face, the light made him look quite ominous, anyone who would see him currently would think that he is most likely up to something quite sinister, but what exactly it was, no one but the King knew, but he did say a few threatening words before he made that orb dissipate, he said :
Just you wait, Callen Loon, I would slaughter all of you, sooner or later .
(End of POV Change) (Back on the road to the Levern Family's Mansion) :
The two winged ladies spread their wings and took my hands in theirs and directly took off, whether due to not wanting to make me feel uncomfortable or maybe because of something else, the speed in which they moved was not too slow nor too fast, but flying moderately, we were still able to cover a lot of distance still, so I didn't feel like complaining much .
Instead, I was more interested in being able to fly close to the thing that was close to a sun here in this place, I found that it was actually nothing but a star shaped stone of some kind, it had magical properties that make it glow when Mana is being supplied to it, it was connected to the so-called sacred barrier surrounding the city .
It was supplied with ton of Mana by this connection, I wondered about how does the night work, but just as I was engrossed in these kind of thought, the youngest of the two winged ladies accompanying me spoke to me in a bit more close tone, too close in fact, she said :
Lord Callen, do you want us to increase our speed, after all that Levn should be able to warn the rest of his family about what happened today .
She said this in a soft tone as if she was just concern about me, hearing what she said, I turned first to look at the eldest of the two sisters and she was squinting her eyes at her little sister, but when she sensed my gaze, she directly returned to normal and nodded her head as if indicating his agreement with the words spoken by her sister .
Seeing that the two were in agreement on this kind of topic, it was my turn to say :
" Well, it won't do me much damage anyway, so I didn't really care much about what he might do after he alarm his family .
" In fact, I do want them to put a bit of a struggle, only then will the other families understand what they are dealing with, oh right, I forget to ask about what your race is, you don't look like Demons much .
As my words fell into the two women's ears, a look of realization suddenly flashed on their faces and they understood what I was trying to do, then hearing my question, they both said in unison and in quite of a hurry as if they were afraid that I might wrong them for being slow in answering or as if competing with one another, they said :
We are Harpies ×2 .
As the two of them answered as such, I couldn't help but look at the two of them with a bit of a startle, seeing my reaction, the two girls started to explain that like most of the other weak races in the Real World and in the district under the jurisdiction of the Demons, they were entitled to either one of two choices .
Either joining the Demons, or evacuate their homes and settle in another district, in which they will still be forced to abdicate their freedom and serve another stronger race, so they become a vessel race for the Demons and accepted their so-called grace .
The two were from the main line of the Harpies Queen, they were her offspring, they should have gotten the treatment of princesses, but instead they opened their eyes to the scene of their entire race being in servitude to the Demon race, some of the details were directly mentioned by them, while I concluded the rest .
The tone in which the two took turns to explain everything to me with, left me a bit doubtful about whether they were in favor of this servitude relationship with the Demon race continuation, I can't be certain yet, but it seem that I should be able to make use of this kind of situation, but I need to be certain about it first .
It didn't came much of a surprise to me that the Demon race had other races under its wing, after all that Demon Emperor was a quite the ambitious Demon, so he wouldn't be willing to stop trying to dominate the races in his district to make himself much stronger and strengthen the grasp of the Demon race over the District they are in .
The thing that I wanted to know now was the fate of that Harpie Queen and what exactly her thoughts regarding this whole matter, from the two Fay and Tay words, their mother is a quite strong and is still serving under the Demon Emperor directly .
She also hold a seat in the supreme council of the Demon race, but she didn't only fought her way through to get that seat, no she also signed a Binding Contract with the Demon Emperor himself, the terms of that contract wasn't clear for the two girls in front of me .
I fell in a bit of contemplation after I heard them mention this, the reason was quite simple, a Binding Contract meant that even if she were to be aware of what I was going to do, she can't approve of it, no matter what her own thoughts were and that's not all .
She might be even forced to retaliate against me due to the terms of the Binding Contract, unless I'm able to completely render that binding effect useless and ineffective, there is really no much help that I can expect her to give, as I remained silent for some time after the two finished talking, it unnerved both of them, but they still didn't dare to show it on their faces .
Seeing them like this, I couldn't help but chuckle a little and think that this was quite funny, but my laughter sound like more that of a snort in their eyes, the two shuddered uncomfortably and tensed slightly .
The younger of the two Tay said in a hurry that they had nothing to do with what their queen mother say or did and that they would listen to everything that I asked them to do without a second thought, even though she was the youngest of the two, she seemed quite proactive and quite daring as well, not to mention quite perceptive as well .
The older one just gave a nod as indicating her agreement with her sister, but she didn't have the same resolute attitude as her younger sister, she seemed quite troubled by the fact that she might skirmish with her own mother .
The two side's thoughts were equally welcomed, I nodded at the two of them and didn't say much more, everything was much clearer among us three than before, I didn't think that there would be much use of saying anything else, so I decided that it was for the best to just stay silent and only raised my hand and pointed forward with a finger .
The two understood my intention instantly and with a swoosh sound we began to move at much faster rate than before and even though I believed that I might have cut the same distance in a much less time using my own wings, for some reason I felt really good about this current way of traveling .
As we cut through the sky, I was able to see two to 3 law enforcement teams trying to stop us, but just as they drew near and saw who were they trying to stop, they would panic and flee directly .
No matter how strict the rules in a place were, they will always bend in front of some special people and that exactly what went on here, in the rest of the journey there was no longer anyone who dared to intercept us from continuing on our way, well at least not until we had finally reached our destination .
The Levern Family's Mansion, I was standing in front of a place that was completely swallowed by darkness, the family house and other buildings that were connected to it were all covered in what seemed to be curtains of dark attributed Mana .
I was able to tell after I activated the power in my eyes, I was able to see that Levn was panicking inside that weird barrier, but he was still unwilling to show weakness, he together with a few other looked at me and seemed to be completely ready for a battle to the death .
It seemed that Levn was still able to come back and activate the Darkness Shroud Barrier, the cost of unleashing this barrier is quite hefty, but it is a Dark attributed barrier that can devour the strength of the attacks that fall on it and make use of them to strengthen itself .
After this barrier is unleashed, it would even take King Devo a lot of time before he can crack it open, that's the worst kind of scenario .

Tay's words are indeed correct, this barrier was gifted to the Levern by his Majesty the Emperor himself, it was said that he even blessed it with a bit of his own understanding of space, which made the barrier able to trap those that ventured deep into it for quite some time, we really should have tried to speed up more, we are deeply sorry for that happening .
Seeing that the two of them seem to be really accepting that they were to be blamed for this and even going to the great lengths of bowing down and apologizing sincerely for it, I couldn't help but say :
" You two need to rise up, you haven't done anything wrong at all, you have already helped me plenty by guiding me here, you can go back now and rest, I will finish things up here and will wait for you at the Dorell family after that to give you your rewards .
The two hearing my words, were momentarily stunned and looked at each other seemed to be quite bewildered at what was happening here, not caring about saying anymore unnecessary words, I took another step forward, passing them and spreading my wings as to keep floating in the sky, sadly I began to feel the loss of Mana that my current mana core suffer from .
The amount of Mana I currently have is already pitiful, but just so that I can keep face, I still decided to continue hovering in the sky, not willing to waste time or mana on unnecessary things .
I stepped forward towards the barrier and just as I wanted to tested with my my own Flesh, I heard the warning that came from fey, warning me not to take another step forward or else my body will be corroded by the Darkness Rotten Nature .
I wasn't able to clearly understand what she was talking about, but I was to some extent able to guess what she wanted to say, I turned my head and asked if the people inside can still able to hear me or not and the two of them start to explain that the people inside can still perceive and monitor what's happening outside .
Hearing the two explanation, I smiled slightly which caught the people present off guard, those inside the barrier also tensed slightly, I once again activated my eyes and looked at the shroud in front of me, I couldn't pry into it before, but now it was completely clear in my eyes, lines over lines of Dark Mana linked and connected to one another .
All working together for the sole purpose of creating the darkness dome in front of me, but that wasn't the only thing I was able to see, I was able to see where there were no mana lines and where the connection between those lines quite week .
It amazed me and I felt a weird intuition inside me, that intuition was telling me that the whole barrier was at my mercy, wishing to let it be gone need nothing but a snap of finger, relishing this new feeling and boosting my confidence even more, I couldn't help but look at the guys that were inside the barrier and say :
" For all the Levern Family members that don't wish for the destruction of the Levern Family's Mansion and family today, I would suggest you surrender now .
