Seed looked again through the window because he heard nothing, like people gasping for air. Before the soldiers approached James but something unimaginable happened.
James's bloody hands rose like he's still in the fight.
"still kicking?" Seed said surprisingly.
The crowd fell silent for ten seconds and then cheers could be heard from the students
"the student James is still conscious Sir, what should we do?" the soldiers that went to escort James to the infirmary said
Colonel Mike. Looked amazed for a moment and then went back to his composure and told the soldier, "He is not capable to fight again, Take him to the infirmary."
The soldier went close to grab James' bloody hands, but James pushed them aside and got up on his own. His face was dripping blood on the ground
"I don't need your help", he said coughing blood.
Seed saw the blood. He started to drool on the floor like he's a predator
"no no no no no no no control yourself." Seed thought.
A system message:
Your hunger grows for blood.
"Get him out of the arena" Colonel Mike said.
The soldier Got close to James and grabbed his hand
James looked at the soldier's eyes and said, "Didn't I tell you I don't need help?"
"Sorry buddy, but you look in a rough shape. I'm doing the orders that were given to me. If it were up to me, I'd leave you in the arena to bleed to death." The soldier said.
It was true James couldn't even defend himself. If he wanted to.
It's a miracle that he is even standing.
But the only thing that was in his mind was that he will find a way to burn this military school to the ground.
He reluctantly followed the soldier into the building and toward the infirmary
Seed saw all of this happened and still watched through the window as people took the dummy head on one by one and either tapping out or screaming or passing out.
This kept repeating until it got to the girl's turn that Seed protected from the soldier.
Amaya Miriam was announced to take the test against the dummy.
She looked scared and not ready at all, but she grabbed her weapon of choice, which is a spear. It was at 1 star rank.
"She really got a good head start. That mutant weapon is going to help her at the test and two she must come out of a wealthy family because owning a mutant weapon is expensive" Seed continued
"because it's made out of beast crystals the Mutant Weapon is at one star means it was made out of basic beast crystal and it can evolve under different conditions." He looked irritated.
"My E-Rank sword is enchanted with wind magic not made out of beast crystal it can't be evolved."
Seed said with jealousy
the spear had a sharp iron head and bone for the handle with red stripes along the bone handle
Amaya stood in front of the dummy. Readying her spear but her hand was still shaking.
She Thrust the spear in the face of the dummy ending the first phase and the number on the head of the dummy starts to count 13 strength.
"Wow she's weak". Seed said and continued. "Even with a mutant weapon?"
"o-okay let's do this. " Amaya said,
phase two started and the dummy got into the defensive state
. She tried to thrust the spear again but this time the dummy just pushed it aside. She repeated again but this time something different happened.
Her speed got faster As she repeatedly thrusted the spear
the dummy had to get out of her range because he was losing in speed.
He tried to roll back but as he was rolling she he thrown the spear right in his back, making the dummy tumble, awkwardly on the ground.
Ending Phase Two agility 35
now it was time for the endurance test. The dummy got up, readying itself. The same could be told for Amaya.
She opened her hands and the spear got up from the ground and floated till it reached Amaya's hand
"she can call the spear." Everyone was surprised, thinking of her, as Lady Thor, from the old mythology
the dummy dashed towards Amaya. But she held her ground, swinging the hilt of the spear. Hitting the dummy right in the side, making it lose balance
she took a chance on it and started to repeatedly hit the dummy and every time she successfully hit the dummy, her speed got greatly faster so as her damage output.
The dummy was like indestructible. it got slashed, smashed, even crushed from the other students but not even a scratch was on it.
So as now Amaya's attacks made no difference.
It can only stagger the dummy. And the dummy couldn't get close because of the spear's reach.
But as she was swinging the hilt, the dummy blocked it with it's elbow.
Grabbing the spear and pulling itself in Hitting Amaya right in the face.
Knocking her back. She didn't scream. Just moan at the attack.
"Looks like I need to up a level." Amaya said.
Her spear starts to have a purple aura around it.
She pointed the spear right on the dummy and then the dummy froze for a second as the purple aura transferred from the spear to the dummy surrounding it.
She swung the spear above her hand like a helicopter. Strangely the dummy starts to spin around like it's being controlled by the spear.
And right when Amaya thought it was enough gathering enough kinetic energy she stopped the connection and then leapt from her position with her spear above her head.
Landing right on the dummy, the head of the spear first, right in the dummy's the dummy's body crashed on the ground
and then it happened again. The purple aura moved from her body to the spear and from the spear to the dummy's body.
And then she swung the spear upward, making the dummy fly in the sky.
The student and the crowd didn't understand what was happening.
Amaya was just swinging the spear and the dummy was flying like a rag doll all around.
And as the dummy was landing on the ground, Amaya aligned the spear right under the neck of the dummy.
The dummy's neck landed on the tip of the spear it didn't get pierced or anything; it just bounced off.
"Damn it this thing is really indestructible." Amaya said, the dummy was on the ground.
And Amaya swung her spear again, hitting the dummy on the back of its head while it's on the ground. Her speed got extremely fast so as the output of the hit,
" as long as the fight goes, I can't be stopped" she thought.
The dummy got up fast, swiftly, trying to attack Amaya's legs to catch her off guard. Unfortunately it was successful. Amaya lost balance of her footing and the dummy jumped her. Grabbing a choke hold, at her neck.
she struggled and tried to attack the dummy with the spear but failed. The dummy was too close for her to swing the spear.
She tried to land on the ground and roll on the floor so that the dummy can lose grip of her.
But with no use
her face was turning into colors. She couldn't hold it anymore.
And tapped the dummy. Three times. Ending Phase 3
Endurance, 92
Endurance was measured By how long the student lasted against the dummy.
"What an awful way to be out." Seed said. "But she is strong. "
He continued.
All of a sudden the door opened. Colonel Mike was visible in front of Seed. He told him to "follow me."
Seed didn't know where to follow but he just followed silently. Until he was in contact with the sun again
and was greeted with the usual message.
You are in direct sunlight. 50% of your stats will be halved.
Seed was more irritated.
in front of him were three people. One that had a hood on and one female that's holding a book the other had a sword and headphones on.
"Is that the punk that used the blood attacks?" The one that had headphones on said
"well, is that a way to greet a guest?" Colonel Mike said. "Teachers, announce yourselves."
The one with the hood spoke. "I am Richard, your survival teacher."
"I am Barla you're a assessor teacher." The female of the book said,
"well Brat, I am Damon your combat teacher." The one with a sword and a headphones said.
"Seed, greet yourself," Colonel Mike said
Seed bowed his head and said: "I'm Seed Armo, a blood manipulation user."
That is what he can think of As a lie because clearly his system states that shadows were his ability
and the other skills like blood tree or Brute force tree are traits of his new-found body
Seed's heart was pumping loudly. he tried to hide his fear of being caught from the military.
He didn't know what the three teachers in front of him wanted but they clearly stated that they are going to be his teacher.
