She nodded, "though it was a surprise at first, but after learning his origin and his goals, it made sense to me of why he had gotten close to me."
"What does that mean?" Leon asked directly, "his origin and goals I mean? Was his end goal not saving you?"
To Leon's words, Charlotte chuckled lightly and added swiftly meeting his eyes, "it was the story he made others to believe, though the reality is different, but it was true that he was saving me from the outer beings, but the thing is, he was doing it for his own selfish reason."
