Jay-jay's POV
Seriously? I had to deal with all of them? First Keifer. Then Kristine. And now—Ci-N?
At this point, death didn't sound so bad. Honestly, it felt like a peaceful alternative.
Ci-N closed the door, turning to me with a grin.
"Sup, Jay-jay!"
Oh.. I know where this is going.
"Do you have any snacks?" he asked, all innocent.
Too bad for him, the kitchen was empty. Not even a single piece of chip was left. Aries had thrown it all away.
And he called ME stupid?
Tsk, bunch of ulupongs.
"Nope. Aries wiped them all out," I said.
Ci-N frowned like his whole world had just collapsed and dragged himself toward my bed.
"What can we do?" he sighed dramatically. "That's just him. Ruining lives."
Wow. And he's acting like he's the victim of living with Aries 24/7.
I turned to Kristine.
She didn't even bother reacting—just lying on my bed, staring at the ceiling like she had no responsibilities in life.
"Oi!" I called.
Nothing.
Her eyes were open... but no reaction.

"Oi, Kris!!"
Ci-N grabbed her and shook her like she was a broken remote.
She looked announced, like someone just interrupted her in the middle of a football(soccer) match.
Ci-N pointed at me. "She's the one who called you."
Wow. Traitor.
Did your classmate taught you that?...(Referring to Rory btw :P) Hmm.. there might be a course just for that.
She sighed, turning to me. "What?"
I had absolutely no idea why I called her.
But now that I had, I couldn't just stand there and say nothing.
"I'm done eating. Can you take the plate downstairs?" I asked, forcing a grin like that would somehow help.
She finally sat up and grabbed the plate.
"Fine," she muttered before stepping out of the room.
Crisis avoided.
"So... what is Keifer doing in your room?" Ci-N asked, looking at both of us.
Oh.. I totally forgot that he was STILL in my room. I didn't even bother to think about him as these so-called classes of mine barged into my room.
"It was my fault..." Keifer suddenly blurted out.
Of course it is... who else's fault would it be? He's the one who came in without permission.
"Ooooooo..." Ci-N dragged out, grinning like he just discovered gossip. "Did you guys do something?"
Is he serious right now?
"Probably."
Kristine just appeared by the door, casually leaning against it like she'd been there the whole time.
Since when was she back? I thought she was at the kitchen!
"H-how do you know that?" I stammered, covering my face.
Not because I was red or anything... I'M NOT RED, OKAY?
"I noticed her lips when I first entered the room, looked kinda red. She doesn't wear lipstick, lip gloss, lip tint—nothing! She doesn't even own those things."
She crossed her arms like she just solved a case.
She continued, "Plus, Keifer was in the room. I'm pretty sure, something really happened before we walked in." She said, playing all detective. "Probably a kiss, not like a quick one, you know..."
I blinked...
I was impressed by her detailing, if she ever became a detective, she's gonna solve her case in a day!
Sherlock, I think I just met your rival.
"You can't deny it, can you?" She smirked, closing the door.
Ci-N just slammed his hands on the bed, giggling.
Go ahead, laugh all you want! I'll tell Rakki on you!
Right now, all I needed was the topic changed.
"Wait—how did you get back so fast?" I asked. "The stays are long, you would've been out of breath by now!"
I waited for her answer, as I watched her as she settled down on the bed.
She sighed as she muttered something I couldn't hear, "Changing the subject, are we?"
Huh?
"Your brother Aries was by the stays, also a plate on his hand. I just handed him the plate you gave me, that's it." She said it almost too casually.
My brother Aries?
Like seriously, ARIES???
If it was Percy I would get it, but Aries? That guy won't even budge even if I'm in trouble. He wouldn't return a plate because he was told to!
"He's grumpy, how did you manage to do it?" Ci-N asked, before I even could.
Kristine turned to Ci-N, "When has my magic ever failed?"
"On Aries, is that even possible?" I asked.
"Nothing is impossible." She muttered, casually checking her nails like she didn't just break the laws of nature.
Wow.
I never knew I had a cool classmate other than those ulupongs.
I didn't even know that Aries obeyed someone other than Kuya Angelo!
Luckily.. she hasn't done "this" kind of thing to us, Section E.
Maybe she's soft on us..
Oh soft? I forget she almost drowned Ci for pushing her into the water.
Yeah, maybe Section E except for Ci-N.
"Oi, Jay!" Kristine suddenly called me out. "Exams in 2 days, did you study?"
Speaking of exams.. I don't know what I'm going to face but I'm a bit prepared. Still, I didn't trust myself fully, asking Kristine to help me study won't hurt.. right?
"You're staying here, anyway. Help me prepare."
She just gave me thumps up, smiling.
"What about you, Ci?" She turned to Ci-N, who was simply laying on my bed, smirking. "What's with the smirk?"
"Oh.. you know, I wanna try failing this time—"
Kristine threw a pillow at him. "Idiot, it's the finals!"
He's lucky that if was just a pillow, she would've three a punch on him if he wasn't just laying there.
"Ow, Kris!" Ci pouted, slowly sitting up.
I felt a sudden pat on my shoulder. I turned to my side to find Keifer holding a bar of chocolate.
Where did that even come from?
I didn't want to ask questions, I just took the chocolate and slowly opened it.
"Hoy, chocolate!" Ci shouted, shoot out of the bed.
I quickly hid the chocolate behind my back, making it out-of-reach for him.
Nuh-uh, not today!
Kristine dragged Ci-N by her shirt, "Let them have their moment!"
Moment? what moment? All I'm focusing on is the chocolate, so I didn't understand her words.
More like I didn't want to focus on anything else.
I finished eating the chocolate, the only thing left was the plastic cover.
I turned toward the dustbin, only to find its usual place empty.
Had Aunt Gema taken it out?
Eh... how can I dispose this now?
God, do you really hate me?
I turned to Keifer, expecting him to find a way or just tuck it into his pocket.
He took the plastic from my hand and tucked it into his pocket, just like I wanted.
Wahhh... life feels nice when it goes just like you wants it to.
Except for the whole Kuya Angelo thing!
He suddenly leaned forward.
Okay... what the heck is going on.
I've really expected a kiss here! Oh lord, please help me!
I closed my eyes, accepting whatever was going to happen to me. Even though I heard some giggles, I couldn't open them.
Why is it taking so long? Hello, I thought we were gonna kiss!
His thumb touched the tip of my lips, like he was wiping something away.
