The moment the words left Sophia's lips, the square erupted.

"If she is lying, Alpha Orion would know!"
"Or is this some kind of trick?!"
"It has to be a myth, it cannot be real!"
"Yes, a myth it is. This can't be real!"
Sophia stood still at the center of it all, her expression steady even as the storm of disbelief crashed around her.
Orion's presence behind her remained firm, but even he did not interrupt. His jaw was tight, his eyes scanning the crowd like he was already calculating how many seconds it would take for him to shut everything down if things went too far.
Then another voice cut through the noise.
"If she is truly the Luna foretold, why does she not look like the prophecy says?"
