The Original Creator, also known as the Oldest One, the Primordial Chaos, and the Primeval Lord Maker of All Things, is the existence who created the universe and everything in it. It is the amalgamation of every concept, authority, and contradiction that exists in the universe. Every symbol, every law of reality, every Beyonder pathway, every Sefirah is a fragment of this single being.
On the first day, the Original Creator awoke and created the world, though at first Reality, the Spirit World, the Astral World, and Fate were all fused and indistinguishable from one another. On the second day, the Oldest One birthed the Mother Goddess of Depravity.
With her birth, Reality gained a foundation, the Spirit World and the Astral World were separated, and the River of Fate began to flow. Shortly after, the Mother Tree of Desire was born, introducing life, evil, and desire. Then came the Son of Chaos, who established order.
On the third day, the Oldest One and the Mother Goddess of Depravity united and gave birth to the Goddess of Fate. From that moment, the fates of all things began to intertwine and the future became something that could be partially foreseen.
After this, the Original Creator fell into a deep slumber.
While the Original Creator slept deep within the Earth, the sleeping Oldest One spontaneously fractured into multiple dormant personas. The most significant of these were the Primordial God Almighty and the Celestial Worthy of Heaven and Earth for Blessings.
These split personalities were also asleep but not entirely inert. They began slowly using the authority and Beyonder Characteristics they controlled to quietly interfere with and shape the real world, making preparations for their eventual true separation when the Original Creator would one day fully wake.
In the modern era of the Pre-Epoch, a civilization existed on Earth similar to the present-day real world, including a research facility called Chernobyl. A researcher there named Grisha would become important later.
When the facility dug too deep into a dried-up oil field and discovered anomalous material underground, it touched the sleeping Original Creator. The Oldest One fully awakened. Workers were transformed into oil. Madness spread. People were summoned underground. Grisha fell into the Chaos Sea and would not awaken until an entirely new epoch.
When the Original Creator fully awoke and then shattered, His body broke apart into six Sefirot and the Beyonder Characteristics of sixteen Standard Pathways.
Because of the Law of Convergence, the fragments also pulled pieces from the three Outer Deities most closely born from the Original Creator the Mother Goddess of Depravity, the Mother Tree of Desire, and the Son of Chaos drawing six more Pathways and three more Sefirot from them down to Earth.
When twenty-two Standard Pathways and nine Sefirot had accumulated on Earth, the Law of Convergence reached a balance and stopped. This is the origin of the entire Beyonder pathway system. Every Beyonder power that exists is a shard of the shattered Original Creator, with His slumbering will embedded in it.
The catastrophe of the Pre-Epoch destroyed the civilization of that era. The Western Continent vanished into a gray fog during this period as well.
With the Original Creator's six Sefirot and twenty-two pathways now in the world, two fragments of the Oldest One crystallized into the first true powers: the Primordial God Almighty and the Celestial Worthy of Heaven and Earth for Blessings. These two became the world's first Pillars.
A Pillar is a Great Old One that has reached the precise limit of stable existence. It holds exactly the right number of Sefirot to suppress the Convergence instinct, the constant pull toward reassembly into the Original Creator.
If a Pillar absorbs even one additional Sefirah beyond its limit, the Convergence instinct overwhelms it and it can no longer stop itself from consuming more until it triggers the Original Creator's revival. In the First Epoch, the Primordial God Almighty served as the literal sun of the world.
Both Pillars eventually absorbed one additional Sefirah each beyond their stable limit. The Primordial God Almighty accommodated the City of Calamity and the Tenebrous World.
The Celestial Worthy accommodated the Nation of Disorder and the River of Eternal Darkness. With those extra Sefirot, both exceeded their stable threshold. Their convergence instincts became impossible to control and they began to move against each other in open conflict.
The Celestial Worthy created the Magic Wishing Lamp as a final weapon. In the full-scale war that followed, the sun was extinguished and the world was plunged into total darkness. Both Pillars destroyed each other and perished. The Primordial God Almighty's corpse fell into the Chaos Sea and became the First Blasphemy Slate, which contained the raw knowledge and potion formulas of all twenty-two Standard Pathways. The Error Pathway Uniqueness was left beside it, intentionally placed by the Celestial Worthy to prevent the Primordial God Almighty's first resurrection inside the Ancient Sun God, which the Celestial Worthy apparently foresaw. Before perishing, the Celestial Worthy sealed all Sefirot except the Sefirah Castle and the Chaos Sea to the Western Continent.
With both Pillars dead, the Beyonder races were no longer restrained. Driven by madness and the convergence instinct, they fought each other constantly. During this chaos, a giant named Aurmir, who had been guarding his parents' remains while holding onto his sanity, was found by the Goddess of Harvest Omebella, eldest daughter of the Brood Hive.
Omebella helped him. Aurmir eventually became the first Ancient God, a deity not born of the Original Creator but risen from mortal stock. His birth and the death of a being called Zedus marked the end of the First Epoch. The Astral Barrier around the planet began its countdown at this moment.
Eight Ancient Gods had emerged by the Second Epoch: the Giant King Aurmir, the Elf King Soniathrym, the Sanguine Ancestor Lilith, the Dragon of Imagination Ankewelt, the Phoenix Ancestor Gregrace, the Mutated King Kvastir, the Devil Monarch Farbauti, and the Annihilation Demonic Wolf Flegrea. These entities achieved divinity through direct convergence of Beyonder Characteristics from non-adjacent, incompatible Pathways. This gave them immense power but also fractured their minds. The absence of any ascension ritual and the heterocoagulation of incompatible characteristics guaranteed their cruelty, bloodlust, and violence. Humanity in this era existed largely as slaves to giants, elves, and sanguines.
The First Blasphemy Slate appeared during the Second Epoch, reportedly manipulated into emergence by the Ancient Sun God, though only partial formulas were revealed at first.
Grisha, the researcher from the Pre-Epoch who had fallen into the Chaos Sea, eventually woke. He emerged in the Second Epoch at Chernobyl carrying the knowledge and consciousness of his previous life, but also with the dormant persona of the Primordial God Almighty already stirring inside him from the time spent in the Chaos Sea.
Acting under the title of God Almighty, and later recorded by history as the Ancient Sun God, Grisha began fighting the Ancient Gods. His first recorded battle was slaying the Elf King Soniathrym and the Dragon of Imagination Ankewelt. The Giant King Aurmir and the Phoenix Ancestor Gregrace were severely wounded Aurmir passing power to his lineage, Gregrace fragmenting across the Southern Continent. The Devil Monarch Farbauti was badly wounded but managed to flee to the Abyss, the only Ancient God to survive in original form into later epochs. The Sanguine Ancestor Lilith, the Annihilation Demonic Wolf Flegrea, and the Mutated King Kvastir perished in this general period of upheaval. Humanity was freed. The Ancient Sun God proclaimed himself the Omnipotent and Omniscient, the Lord Who Created Everything.
The Third Epoch was the era of the Ancient Sun God's absolute dominance. He reigned as the sole Orthodox God. Deities such as the Eternal Blazing Sun, the Lord of Storms, the God of Knowledge and Wisdom, the Evernight Goddess, the Earth Mother, and the God of Combat either were born from the Ancient Sun God's body and spirit or rose under his shadow during this period.
Throughout this time, the Ancient Sun God was fighting a hidden war against the awakening of the Primordial God Almighty inside himself.
His first strategy was creating a separate persona. He took a portion of his own consciousness, fused the authority of Degeneration with Hanged Man Pathway Beyonder Characteristics, and created the dark angel Sasrir, who was designed to independently control the Chaos Sea and isolate its corruption from the Ancient Sun God's true body.
His second strategy was reproduction. By having children, he distributed fragments of his Beyonder Characteristics across other beings, reducing the concentration within himself. This produced his two most notable sons: Amon, the Angel of Time, and Adam, the Angel of Imagination.
His third strategy was planning his own deliberate death. If he simply advanced to become a Great Old One and a Pillar at that time, the Primordial God Almighty already stirring inside him would inevitably take over the completed body and resurrect.
So he chose not to advance. He accumulated all required Uniquenesses and Sequence 1 Beyonder Characteristics of five Pathways of the God Almighty group, approaching but never crossing the final threshold. He would only take the last steps when The Apocalypse approached and circumstances were right.
The plan he designed involved allowing himself to be assassinated. Immediately after death, he would revive inside the Giant King's Court where Sasrir's sleeping body was located, reclaim the Hanged Man Pathway Uniqueness and Sequence 1 Characteristics, become Sequence 0 Hanged Man, and use the First Blasphemy Slate to gain preliminary control of the Chaos Sea. From that foundation he could then properly complete his ascension as God Almighty on his own terms, free from the Primordial God Almighty's domination.
To carry out the assassination, he secretly convened the Rose Redemption. Sasrir led the Kings of Angels faction including Ouroboros, Medici, Leodero, Herabergen, and Aucuses. The Subsidiary Gods faction was led by the Evernight Goddess. Both sides agreed to the plan. Sasrir then entered sleep inside the Giant King's Court and the Ancient Sun God's consciousness withdrew to his true body.
Three Kings of Angels then betrayed the agreement, their betrayal interfered with by the Primordial God Almighty awakening inside the dying Ancient Sun God's body. The Ancient Sun God was successfully assassinated by the Rose Redemption at the place now called the Sea of Ruins. The revival plan failed entirely because of the betrayal.
His death marked the end of the Third Epoch. From his remains and research, the Second Blasphemy Slate was created, containing the full formalized names, potion formulas, and advancement rituals of all twenty-two Standard Pathways and the Above-the-Sequence groups. Adam took the Second Blasphemy Slate before any other ancient family could claim it.
In the Fourth Epoch, gods still descended to and walked the Earth directly. They performed miracles in person, had their own kingdoms, and openly intervened in politics and wars.
With the Ancient Sun God gone, power reorganized. The Second Blasphemy Slate, after Adam took it, was seen by the major surviving families the Abraham, Zaratul, Tudor, Trunsoest, Einhorn, Sauron, Zoroast, Medici, Ouroboros, and Solomon families among others before Adam reclaimed it. These families became the great powers of the Fourth Epoch.
A Sequence 0 Black Emperor named Solomon consolidated power over the Northern Continent and established the Solomon Empire. The empire was supported by the True Creator and the Rose Redemption's legacy.
The major noble families serving as its pillars were the Abraham Family (Duke), the Zaratul Family (Duke), and the Zoroast Family (Duke), with the Medici Family and Ouroboros also holding comparable standing without formal titles. All deities acknowledged Solomon's dominance over the Northern Continent to maintain functioning factions against each other, though none of the gods could cooperate stably enough to challenge the Black Emperor directly until they eventually reached consensus.
Under combined pressure from the Six Orthodox Gods and the rebellion of two powerful figures Alista Tudor and Trunsoest the Black Emperor Solomon fell. Alista Tudor founded the Tudor Empire. Trunsoest founded the Trunsoest Empire. Together they briefly unified as the Tudor-Trunsoest United Empire and established the Six Orthodox Churches. In the Southern Continent, the entity called Death, the Underworld Emperor, built the Balam Empire with its own religion deifying Death.
Solomon later resurrected and rebuilt the Solomon Empire, fracturing the Northern Continent again into three competing powers: the Second Solomon Empire, the Tudor Empire, and the Trunsoest Empire. This created a stalemate that lasted over five hundred years.
Despite the Trunsoest Empire and the Six Gods theoretically having overwhelming advantage, the stalemate held because the Six Gods had serious internal conflicts among themselves, the Solomon Family and Zaratul Family maintained loyalty to Solomon that other families did not, and the True Creator's backing gave Solomon's side resources the others could not easily counter.
The situation broke when Alista Tudor forcibly switched from the Black Emperor Pathway, having become Sequence 1 Prince of Abolition, to the non-adjacent Red Priest Pathway, becoming a half-crazed Sequence 0 Blood Emperor. This switch was extraordinarily dangerous and fractured his mind. It was later revealed this sequence of events was planned by Adam, with Amon as accomplice. Tudor had acquired support from Antigonus and the Twilight Hermit Order, and obtained the Red Priest potion by killing Medici, Sauron, and Einhorn. The Tudor Empire then stood as its own independent faction, allied with the Amon Family, Abraham Family, Jacob Family, and Tamara Family, separate from both the six gods' faction and the True Creator's faction.
The four great powers eventually collapsed into the War of the Four Emperors. By the time it ended, the Black Emperor Solomon, the Blood Emperor Alista Tudor, and the Night Emperor Trunsoest had all perished. Angel families across the Northern Continent were decimated or wiped out entirely.
The capital of the Tudor Empire, Trier, literally sank underground during the war. Modern Trier was built above it. The Blood Emperor's body and power remained entombed in what became known as Fourth Epoch Trier underground, which is why organizations like the Iron and Blood Cross Order spent generations trying to find the entrance to it.
Near the end of the Fourth Epoch came what is called the Pale Era. The Underworld Emperor of the Southern Continent had transformed into a mad Death God. The Primordial Demoness joined forces with the insane Death God to unleash catastrophe upon the Northern Continent. The Seven Orthodox Gods joined forces to fight them. Death was destroyed. The Balam Empire in the South collapsed. The Primordial Demoness suffered catastrophic injuries that forced her into deep slumber. The Trunsoest Empire was also destroyed in the chaos.
In the aftermath, the Seven Gods each supported a surviving Angel family from the old Trunsoest Empire, guiding them to form the Four Great Nations of the Northern Continent. The gods then retreated into the Astral World to mend the cracked Astral Barrier, ending the era of gods personally walking the Earth.
The Fifth Epoch began more than 1,300 years before the main events of Lord of the Mysteries. The Seven Orthodox Churches and the Four Great Nations governed the Northern Continent. Countless secret organizations operated in the shadows. Ordinary people had no knowledge of the occult or Beyonder powers.
Roughly 200 years before the main story, a man from modern-day Earth named Huang Tao transmigrated into the body of a young man in the Intis Kingdom and called himself Roselle Gustav.
Roselle transmigrated into a kingdom mired in debt, economic collapse, and popular unrest. The Intis Kingdom had waged endless wars it could not afford and was on the verge of revolution. Roselle was first approached by the Church of the God of Craftsmanship and given a choice of Beyonder pathways. He chose the Savant pathway, later known as the Paragon Pathway. He also somehow made contact with Zaratul and learned the Acting Method from him, which was a technique for safely digesting Beyonder potions.
Using knowledge from modern Earth, Roselle invented the steam engine, improved sailboat design, and catalyzed the Industrial Revolution. His contributions were significant enough that the God of Steam and Machinery issued the first public divine decree since the Fifth Epoch began, changing the Church's name in recognition.
Meanwhile he played a long political game. He let the chaos of Intis's economic crisis build, let the rebels do their work, then emerged as the protector who ended the chaos. He overthrew the Intis Kingdom, founded the Intis Republic, and became its First Consul.
He then led the Republic to victory in multiple wars against neighboring nations and eventually transformed the Republic into an Empire, crowning himself Emperor Casimir the First. He had four personal subordinates Grimm, William, Poli, and Edwards whom he called the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Grimm, the smartest of the four, died in the Sea of Fog early in Roselle's career.
As Emperor, Roselle climbed the Beyonder ranks through the Paragon Pathway before switching to Sequence 1 Knowledge Emperor of the neighboring Hermit Pathway. Through his travels and research, he eventually laid eyes on the Second Blasphemy Slate, which contained all twenty-two pathways' complete potion formulas and advancement rituals. With that knowledge, in the final years of his life, he created the twenty-two Cards of Blasphemy, one card for each pathway disguised as ordinary tarot cards, each encoding a complete pathway from Sequence 9 to Sequence 0.
He kept a detailed diary written entirely in Simplified Chinese, a language no one in that world could read, anticipating that another transmigrator would eventually find the pages. In the diary he expressed regret that he had not chosen the Apprentice, Seer, or Marauder Pathway from the beginning. He left the pages scattered across the world as both a warning and a gift to his eventual successor.
Near the end of his life, Roselle's relationship with the Church of the God of Steam and Machinery deteriorated. After advancing to Sequence 2 and learning secrets that nearly broke his sanity, he was unable to advance further on the Paragon or Hermit Pathways because the Sequence 0 Godhood of those pathways was already occupied.
He switched to the non-adjacent Black Emperor Pathway, a dangerous lateral jump between incompatible pathways. His plan was that by dying with the Black Emperor Characteristics inside him, he would eventually resurrect as only a Black Emperor, having shed the mixed Paragon and Hermit characteristics during death, allowing him to start fresh.
He was then corrupted by the Outer Deity known as the Uncertain Mist, an entity connected to the Son of Chaos and the Chaos Mist Pathway. He was betrayed by his allies and killed by the Church of the Eternal Blazing Sun along with the royals and nobles of the former Intis Kingdom. He was interred in a mausoleum on a primitive island in the Fog Sea that he had discovered in his later travels.
His daughter, Bernadette Gustav, a Sequence 2 Beyonder of the Hermit Pathway and one of the four Pirate Kings known as the Queen Mystic, spent her life searching for her father's history and the truth of his final days. She was once prophesized by Zaratul to hate, detest, and abandon her father, a prophecy she defied. Through Adam's involvement and Amon's assistance, it was arranged that Roselle would resurrect roughly a century after his death with three types of corruption: the Uncertain Mist, the Genie, and the Nation of Disorder that would achieve a basic balance within him. Bernadette became the holder of the Black Emperor Pathway's Uniqueness, the Black Emperor's Crown, as a guarantee of that promise.
The resurrected Roselle ultimately participated in a suicidal operation using the Magic Wishing Lamp to severely injure the Mother Goddess of Depravity, and perished again in the process. Adam promised Bernadette that Roselle would eventually resurrect from nothingness a century after this second death.
In Year 1349 of the Fifth Epoch, a young man from modern-day China named Zhou Mingrui transmigrated into the body of a recently deceased Loen Kingdom graduate named Klein Moretti. Klein woke in Tingen City, in a world that superficially resembled Victorian England: steam power, churches with vast supernatural authority, secret organizations, and Beyonders operating in the shadows.
Klein discovered he could access the Sefirah Castle, one of the nine Sefirot on Earth, originally owned by the Celestial Worthy of Heaven and Earth for Blessings, corresponding to the Lord of Mysteries group and the Fool Pathway. Through a ritual he had learned as Zhou Mingrui, Klein could take four steps counter-clockwise in a square while chanting a specific incantation and ascend above the Gray Fog into the castle.
Klein had no idea what the Sefirah Castle was when he first accessed it. When he accidentally summoned two other Beyonders Audrey Hall and Alger Wilson into the space above the Gray Fog, he improvised, pretending to be an ancient and powerful entity called The Fool. He fabricated an honorific title on the spot: The Fool that doesn't belong to this era; The Mysterious Ruler above the Gray Fog; The King of Yellow and Black who wields good luck.
He chose the name because of the tarot card in his mind, not knowing that The Fool was also the exact title of the Sequence 0 of the Fool Pathway, and that the Sefirah Castle had been waiting for someone to claim that seat. The Tarot Club was founded from this improvised deception, with Audrey Hall as Justice and Alger Wilson as the Hanged Man. Klein's first commission to his new followers was to gather the scattered pages of Roselle's diary.
Roselle's diary pages had pushed Klein toward the Seer Pathway (Fool Pathway) rather than the Mystery Pryer Pathway that his mentor Old Neil used. Klein climbed through the pathway's sequences: Seer, Clown, Magician, Faceless, Nimblewright Master, Bizarro Sorcerer, Scholar of Yore, Miracle Invoker, Attendant of Mysteries, and finally Sequence 0: The Fool / Lord of Mysteries.
Throughout this journey Klein operated under multiple identities: the scholarly detective Sherlock Moriarty in Tingen and Backlund; Dwayne Dantès, a mysteriously wealthy tycoon from Desi Bay; and the infamous Gehrman Sparrow, a cold and reportedly mad adventurer who hunted pirates on the sea. Each identity served a different strategic purpose. His adventures brought him into contact with Zaratul, Adam, Amon, the Evernight Goddess, multiple Kings of Angels, and the full range of the mystical world's hidden machinations.
The Tarot Club expanded to include Derrick Berg as the Sun (from the City of Silver in the Forsaken Land of the Gods), Emlyn White as the Moon, Cattleya as the Hermit, Leonard Mitchell as the Hanged Man after Alger's promotion, and others. The Club's collective efforts gathering Roselle's diary pages, investigating the Twilight Hermit Order, fighting against the Moses Ascetic Order, and managing the growing threat of Outer Deity incursions moved it from a gathering of low-sequence Beyonders into a hidden force that major entities had to take seriously.
Around Year 1350, a world war consumed the Northern Continent, involving all major nations. By Year 1358, Outer Deities were breaching the Astral Barrier more and more intensely. Boon Recipients were multiplying. The Apocalypse was approaching.
Klein eventually accumulated all required Uniquenesses and Sequence 1 Beyonder Characteristics across the Fool, Error, and Door Pathways. At the moment of his ascension to Sequence 0, the Fog of History spread throughout the World of Ruins and beyond, enveloping all living beings on the planet and reaching through the Astral Barrier into the universe. Within the Fog, living beings became dull-witted, or filled with unexpected cunning, or were inexplicably transported to the place most familiar to them. Countless rules of reality malfunctioned. Symbols were Fooled.
Klein became the third Pillar, the Lord of Mysteries, Dominator of the Spirit World, Embodiment of the Sefirah Castle, King of Space-Time, Beacon of Destiny, with full authority over the Fool, Error, and Door Pathways. The three Pillars were now the Lord of Mysteries (Klein), the Eternal Darkness (Amanises), and the God Almighty position.
After his ascension, Klein entered a state of deep slumber inside the Sefirah Castle to process the immense power of the Celestial Worthy's godhood he had absorbed and to resist the erosion that came with it.
Circle of Inevitability takes place approximately six to seven years after the end of Lord of Mysteries, in Year 1358-1359 of the Fifth Epoch. The protagonist is Lumian Lee, a young man from the village of Cordu in the Intis Republic, raised by his foster sister Aurore Lee. Cordu had been trapped in an impossible time loop sustained by a heretical group praying to the entity known as Inevitability the Circle of Inevitability, an ancient power associated with past, present, and future. This was Lumian's entry into the Beyonder world. He eventually joined the Tarot Club under the codename The Chariot.
Lumian began on the Red Priest Pathway, which carries authority over weather, plagues, war, and calamity. He also received boons from the Eternal Aeon Pathway associated with the Circle of Inevitability and time cycles. At Sequence 4 he switched to the adjacent Demoness Pathway.
At Sequence 2 he switched back to the Red Priest Pathway. He eventually became a Dual-Pathway King of Angels of both Red Priest and Demoness, then a Dual-Pathway True God, and finally the Great Old One known as the Calamity of Destruction, holding Sequence 0 of both the Red Priest and Demoness Pathways simultaneously.
Lumian's body fused with the Primordial Demoness, the ancient Sequence 0 Demoness who had been sleeping since the end of the Fourth Epoch and with the Blood Emperor Alista Tudor. Inside his body coexisted his own consciousness, Aurore Lee's consciousness, Jenna's consciousness, the divided masculine and feminine aspects of the Mirrored Original Creator, Cheek's consciousness, Alista Tudor's imprint, and the malevolent dragon's consciousness.
The main cosmic threat running through the Circle of Inevitability is the Monarch of Decay, an entity whose symbolism includes anything that can go wrong will go wrong the entropy and inevitable failure of all systems. In the climactic final arc, Lumian, working alongside the Eternal Darkness Amanises and wielding the combined symbolism of the masculine and feminine aspects of the Mirrored Original Creator now interacting with each other for the first time inside his body, attempted to accommodate the Monarch of Decay to destroy or absorb it.
When the power representing Termination the absolute end of all things, opposite to the symbolism of Genesis collided with the masculine and feminine aspects of the Mirrored Original Creator interacting inside Lumian's body for the first time, there was a possibility that Termination Power would sublimate into Termination Symbolism. Combined with the Monarch of Decay's own symbolism of anything that can go wrong will go wrong, that possibility would transform from a chance into a certainty.
The Fourth Pillar, the hidden symbolism of the universe's destruction, the Termination of all things, the endpoint of destiny was on the verge of being born. Under the Fourth Pillar's symbolism, even the three existing Pillars would completely perish, their individual existences annihilated, and everything would return to Chaos.
During the battle preceding this moment, the Circle of Inevitability had intervened multiple times. This entity, formed of three bodies arranged in a circle representing past, present, and future simultaneously, had used its Substitution symbolism to replace the Monarch of Decay within the River of Fate's past with an Angel of Redemption Characteristic, then switched its own true body into Lumian's body to face the encroaching power of Termination, with its Sequence 1 avatar returning to the outside world.
Facing the imminent birth of the Fourth Pillar, the Circle of Inevitability's godhood instinct as the universe's most powerful and genuine Angel of Redemption triggered. It sealed an Angel of Redemption avatar inside Lumian's body to slow the transformation of Termination Power into Termination Symbolism.
The arrangement that resulted was: for the first hour of each day, Lumian remains in peak condition and able to wield the full power of a Great Old One. For the next twenty-two hours, his body begins catastrophically collapsing and the Disaster symbolism becomes uncontrollable, bringing calamities to the surrounding star dominion.
Only by entering slumber can he minimize this. At the end of the twenty-four hour cycle, the true body of the Circle of Inevitability replaces the failing Sequence 1 avatar inside Lumian's dreamscape, endures destruction alongside him, uses the Symbolism of Eternal Aeon to reset the crisis to its beginning, and then swaps back out. This cycle repeats every day, eternally, until the end of the universe.
The solution to prevent the Fourth Pillar's birth through proximity to the Eternal Darkness was to remove Lumian from Earth entirely. At the end of Circle of Inevitability, the Calamity of Destruction Lumian Lee is no longer on Earth and no longer in proximity to the Eternal Darkness Amanises. Without that proximity, the Fourth Pillar cannot coalesce.
The Fourth Pillar the hidden symbolism of the universe's destruction, the Termination of all things, the endpoint of destiny that would end even the three existing Pillars remains latent, incomplete, and sealed inside Lumian as he wanders somewhere in the cosmos far from Earth, condemned to the eternal daily cycle of collapse and reset that the Circle of Inevitability maintains indefinitely.
