The moment the stones became visible, Antwon's rapid descent towards the ground slowed down considerably, until it looked like he was levitating instead of falling. When his feet touched the ground, he appeared weightless to everyone watching him.
After his feet touched the ground, the glass-like stones quickly vanished from sight, and the weight of his feet sank the grass that he was standing on, until they rubbed the ground.
"Were those scribes on your feet?" Daisy asked in curiosity, while looking at the short, blue eyed man in front of her.
"You're a mortal right?" Bia Dupa asked as well in confusion. She even felt that the person in front of her wasn't human, but she wasn't going to ask him to clarify that doubt.
Hearing the words of the two, Antwon nodded his head, and then said to them as he walked closer to the group. "Yes. I'm a mortal, who can't cultivate. So I've been researching scribes since I was young to help me overcome that issue. I also live stream. That's what I was doing earlier. Sorry for the noise."

Hearing their exchange brought confusion to Lain. 'Was those glowing stones earlier what Annette and Daisy are calling scribes? Interesting. I wonder what scribes are?' He thought in his head as he watched the man come closer to them. He even glanced at the man's feet a couple of times, in wonder. The scene from earlier where he levitated in the air as he descended truly was strange.
"Hello, brother Antwon. You may call me brother Hui Shi. These are my brothers and sisters, Mon Dupa, Bia Dupa, Daisy, and Lain." Hui Shi said, pointing at Mon Dupa, Bia, Daisy, and the bewildered Lain, before reaching his hands towards the coming Antwon for a hand shake. But half way through his movement, he strangely glanced at his side and continued speaking awkwardly, after seeing the glowing little boy next to him.
"And this little child here is called Wudi Tian. We don't know his origins but his presence is a welcomed blessing to us all."
