James is wakes up from his rest after the past few days of events, and decides that he needs to get stronger, so he's reassured that he can beat Fae, whenever he decides to go look for him.
As James leaves his room, he finds a surprisingly alluring aroma wafting through the air. James' stomach growls, and he wonders what could smell so good, so early in the morning. James leisurely walks to the kitchen and finds Anya there, cooking breakfast. James asks what she's making, and she tells him that she's making them breakfast before they head out.
James is surprised by the gesture and asks why she's bothering to make breakfast. Anya tells him that she'd rather eat something good before going out than just have whatever's around.
James didn't have much to say to Anya, so he sat down and waited for her to finish cooking and eat before they decided to head out back to the dungeon.

James and Anya made their way back to the dungeon and easily descended back to the floor that they were in before. After going around and finishing off all the monsters on that floor, they eventually made it to the next, and James began testing out his skills and abilities again.
James asked Anya to scope out the next floor, but she didn't know why. Anya told him that he's likely strong enough to beat all the monsters in the Dungeon alone till they reach the boss floor, given how strong he is. James told Anya that his testing his strength more and would rather be safe than sorry, since a lot of monsters could horde around him at once. Anya understood what James meant, but told him that she could easily divert their attention, since his not working alone.
James thought about it for a second and decided to take Anya up on the offer, since it would be more efficient, nevertheless.
James went full force into the room, with just a simple safety spell self-applied on him just in case, while Anya stood back and watched in case something were to happen, where she'd need to create a diversion, so James wouldn't end up dead. Luckily enough, as James was in the floor, slaughtering a variety of monsters, he was a passage, leading down to a deeper floor of the dungeon, and called Anya over to check it out, so they could go down, as James didn't particularly have a hard time dealing with the mosnters on the floor as Anya said.

James and Anya went through the passage, and to their surprise, the passage led all the way to the last floor of the dungeon. James' heart raced a little, but not by much.
As James and Anya explored the last floor, they were met with very few monsters, but saw a great amount of human remains. Eventually, they got far enough to make it to the boss's room door, and slowly opened it, awaiting to see what lay inside.
James took the first steps into the boss's room and was immediately speed blitzed, but managed to dodge the attack in the nick of time.
James quickly tried to counter and, in turn, also called Anya to hurry up, so they could fight the boss together. Anya rushed over to James immediately, and they began fighting the boss as a duo, time passes and they started getting exhausted, but the boss was almost dead, so they tried to push through the best they could.
James channeled his mana into a sort of final blow and managed to git the minotaur-like boss monster, square on the face, landing the hit they needed to win.
After defeating the boss monster, James got a system enhancement and an upgrade notification for defeating a boss monster with one that he's soul-bound to.
James was surprised when he got the system update and wondered what it was about. He promptly clicked it, but to his surprise…
