The Destiny's Bounty is flying through a storm. In his cabin, Master Wu uses the spirit smoke and sees the ninjas being surrounded by the Serpentine before seeing himself being eaten by the Great Devourer and gasping. In the dining room, Kai, Nya, and Jay are keeping watch over the four silver Fangblades.
"Why is it that Torchfire Mountain is the only place we can destroy the Fangblades?" Nya asked.
"Cause the Fangblades are made from the original teeth of the Devourer. They're so strong they can only break down in extraordinary heat." said Kai.
"Uh, could someone pass the salt?" Jay asked. The Destiny's Bounty tilts, sliding the salt shaker towards him. "Hey, thanks." Cole comes in, green from air sickness.
Cole walks in and says groggily. "Please. No one talk about food. How much longer until we get there?"
"Not long. Hey, Cole, you're looking a little green over there. How'd you like a mucus salt sandwich?" Cole goes outside to vomit. Jay laughs. "Speaking of green, who would've guessed little Lloyd Garmadon turned out to be the Green Ninja?" Jay questioned.
"I know. He was such a brat at first. It's hard to believe he's gonna become the greatest ninja that ever lived." said Nya.
Kai clears his throat. "Where is that little runt?"
"In the training room with Nalia, probably doing some training," said Jay.
*Lloyd is in the training room, and Nalia is watching while eating a mango.*
"Go, Lloyd! Go, Lloyd! Nalia cheered while eating her mango.
Lloyd standing in a western drawl. "Serpentine, it's time I Spinjitzu you back into the filthy holes you came from. Ninja kick! Tiger claw! Ninja, go!" He attempts Spinjitzu but falls.
"You okay?" Nalia tried holding back a giggle.
Pythor laughs, turning visible. "What a joke. You were always a boy who chased stupid dreams."
"Pythor! How did you get aboard?" Lloyd asked.
"YOU!" Nalia jumped at Pythor, trying to bite him, but he was ready for it this time. He put tape on her mouth and a muzzle on her so she couldn't bite him this time.
"I'm not gonna have you, breaking another bone in me." said Pythor, then went on to pick up both her and Lloyd. "You think I would allow the ninja to steal the Fangblades from me?"
"Ugh! You'll never get away with it! Hey—" Pythor puts tape over Lloyd's mouth and ties them to a punching bag.
"Oh, I wouldn't worry about that. As they say, out of sight, out of mind." Pythor disappears and laughs.
Nalia growled through the tape and could quickly get out of it. But she still couldn't get the muzzle off.
"I hate that snake so much," said Nalia, trying to free both of them using sand. It took a few tries until they were finally free.
Lloyd uncovers the tape from his mouth. He reaches the intercom. "Pythor's on board!"
Nalia tried pulling the muzzle off, but nothing seemed to work. "How do you get this stupid thing off!"
"Here, let me try," said Lloyd, coming over and taking a look at the muzzle. He noticed something on the back of her head and went on to finally remove it.
"Thanks, Lloyd." said Nalia, happy to finally have the muzzle off.
"No problem, starlight," said Lloyd, smiling.
"How do you know my last name?" Nalia asked, and began leaving the room to stop Pythor with Lloyd.
"Wait. Your last name is Starlight. I just thought it would be a fitting nickname," said Lloyd, running out with her.
"I mean, I don't mind it being used as a nickname. I used it for my stage name on the talent show me and the ninjas was on." Nalia quickly reached the weapon room and grabbed her staff and one for Lloyd.
"Huh, okay," said Lloyd, running as they soon saw Pythor up ahead.
"Sorry if I don't lend a hand, but I'm in a rush. Got this whole Devourer thing going on." Pythor chuckles. "Toodaloo." He laughs and turns to find Lloyd and Nalia with each a bo staff.
"Where do you think you're going?" Lloyd asked with a smirk.
"We'll be taking those back." said Nalia.
"Ah. A little cliché, don't you think?" Pythor questioned.
"Uh, cliché?" Lloyd and Nalia asked in unison, looking at each other confused.
"I wouldn't expect children to understand." said Pythor.
"Hey!" Nalia tried swinging her staff at him, but Pythor easily dodged.
"Hey, I've grown up a lot." Lloyd attacks him, but Pythor dodges again.
"Hm, puny strength, no fundamentals, sloppy footwork. You think you both can defeat me?" said Pythor.
Lloyd and Nalia looked over at each other, both giving a nod.
"We're not trying to defeat you. We're just trying to keep you busy until the cavalry arrives," They said in unison as Nya, in her Samurai Mech, walked up to Pythor. Lloyd kicked him. Haha, I hit him. I hit him, guys!"
"Nice going, Lloyd!" Nalia smiled, giving him a high-five.
"Oh, as much as I would like to play with your overgrown toys, I have a ride to catch." Pythor jumps off the Bounty and lands on a Rattlecopter.
"No!" shouted Lloyd.
"You've gotta be kidding me!" shouted Nalia.
"So long, suckers!" said Pythor.
"Don't let go!" shouted Jay.
"You think I don't know that?!" shouted Kai as the ninjas fell, but Nya caught them.
"Gotcha!" said Nya.
*Back with Nalia and Lloyd.*
"I can't believe he got away with the fangblades." said Lloyd.
"We'll get them back; I'm sure the guys already have a plan," said Nalia, taking his hand.
"But did you see that? I actually landed a solid hit on him," said Lloyd, smiling at her.
Nalia giggles softly with a smile. "Yeah, I saw. It was a long time coming, but you finally got him after everything he has done."
*Later, as the ninjas prepare to go after the Serpentine, Lloyd and Nalia bring the Golden Weapons.*
"If Pythor returns the Fangblades to the City of Ouroboros, he'll awaken the Great Devourer," said Wu.
"Well, we're not gonna let that happen." said Nya.
"Oh, what about me and Lia?" Lloyd asked.
"Yeah, what about us?" Nalia asked.
"We need someone to stay with the Bounty," said Kai.
"But did you see me kick him in the face? I'm an asset. I kick butt. And face." said Lloyd.
"Yeah! We can help," said Nalia.
"Patience, kid. You're too important now that you're the chosen one. And we can't risk Lia bitting another person and breaking their bones." said Kai.
"Not even if it's just Pythor?" Nalia asked.
"Not even if it's Pythor, no matter how much he deserves it." said Kai.
Nalia pouted, crossing her arms, annoyed by that.
"Patience, hmm? Ah, the student has become the teacher." said Wu.
"What do you say we play a little catch-up?" said Jay.
"It's my favorite game." said Cole.
"Ninja, go!" The ninjas summon their vehicles.
"I've got him in my sights." said Jay.
"Is this some kind of special tour?" asked the Guide.
"Oh, shut up and drive." said Pythor.
"Sir, the ninjas are on our tail. They'll catch up with us in no time." said Skales.
"Ninjas." Pythor grabs a microphone. "Good afternoon, my cold-blooded minions. If you look off to your left and behind you, you'll find ninjas. So annoying. So man your stations, chaps! We've got guests. Let's make sure we give them the ride of a lifetime." The Fangpyre turn the bus into the Serpentine Express.
"What is that? A truck?" Kai asked.
"That is no truck. It is a moving fortress." said Wu.
"Argh!" screamed Cole.
"Watch out! How are we supposed to get close to that thing? Bring it on." said Kai.
"We've got company. Sensei!" shouted Nya.
"Huh? Let me see." Wu destroys two of the Serpentine's vehicles. "Oh, this is fun." Lloyd and Nalia scream as they both try to pilot the Bounty.
"How do you control this thing!?" screamed Nalia.
"How should I know!?" screamed Lloyd.
"You're the one controlling it!" screamed Nalia.
"So are you!" screamed Lloyd.
They kept screaming until they finally got the hand of it, and Lloyd let Nalia take a break as he kept controlling the ship.
"What a ride." Nalia let out a soft laugh, sitting to the side of the steering wheel.
"Yeah, I'm amazed we didn't crash." Lloyd chuckles with a smirk on his face.
Nalia looked over at Lloyd with a soft smile as she giggled.
"What?" Lloyd asked, noticing she was looking at him.
"Lloyd, can you promise me something?" Nalia asked.
"Sure, what is it?" Lloyd asked.
"We'll always be together, no matter that," said Nalia, smiling softly at him.
Lloyd blushes as he clears his throat. "A-As friends?"
Nalia gave him a questionable look. "Yeah, as friends. What else would I mean?"
Lloyd felt slightly disappointed but didn't let it show on his face. "Yeah, I promise we'll always be together, no matter what, " he said, giving her a charming smile.
Nalia wasn't sure why, but seeing his smile warmed her cheeks, and she got a little shy looking away from him. "What is this weird feeling I'm getting? Please don't tell me I'm getting sick again."
"Hey, look, I see the others!" said Lloyd, pointing towards the ninjas sitting and waiting by the train. "Lia, could you send down the anchors by the train?"
"Aye, aye, captain!" said Nalia, getting up before rushing over to send down the anchors.
*Cole yawns as everyone waits by the train.*
"This is really boring," said Nya, until Nalia anchors the train.
"Lloyd! Nalia!"
"Hook, line, and sinker." said Lloyd and Nalia.
"To Ouroboros as fast as you can." said Kai.
"Aye, aye, captain." said Lloyd.
Nalia let out a small giggle.
*They arrives at Ouroboros.*
"Okay, Lloyd. Put us down right after that truck." said Kai.
"Wait up, guys." said Lloyd.
Nalia followed behind the ninjas, as she couldn't help but getting a bad feeling.
*The statue crumbles.*
"No, no. It isn't inside the statue? Then where is it?" Pythor asked, until the ground beneath him rumbles. "Aah! It's so big!"
"You shall stay to see what you have done." said Wu, grabbing Pythor.
"Aah! Let me go, you fool! Don't you see? It's underneath us!" shouted Pythor, trying to get free.
"This is our destiny." said Wu.
Nalia stops by the ninjas and looks up in horror at the giant snake.
"What's going on? Who's that creature underground?" Kai asked.
"You must do everything in your power to stop the Great Devourer. Go, ninja! Go!" said Wu.
"No, Sensei." said Kai.
"No." said Jay.
"NO!!!" screamed Nalia as she watched the Devourer swallow Pythor and Wu.
Nalia felt her strength leaving her legs as she fell to her knees. Looking on in despair. "No..... no, not again."
The Devourer spots them. "Oh, maybe if we stand perfectly still..." said Jay nervously.
"Run!" shouted Kai, while picking up Nalia who had tears running down her face.
Jay starts running but trips. "Wait! Wait for me!" He shouted, getting back up and running after the others.
"Fire up the engines. I said fire up the engines!" shouted Kai.
"There's no wind. And we only have reserved fuel." said Lloyd.
"Use it." said Nya.
*The ninjas make it to the Destiny's Bounty.*
Nalia was placed on a chair while the others went on to do whatever they could to get away from the Devourer.
"Uh, hate to tell you this, but objects in the mirror are closer than they appear." said Jay.
"Working on it. Blasters on full." said Nya.
"Whoo-hoo! Take that, you stupid snake," said Kai, but it seemed to have heard that as it began picking up speed.
"Uh, I think it heard you." said Jay.
"Nya, we gotta go faster. That thing is gaining on us." said Kai.
"We're going as fast as we can. I'll try to make it to Scattered Canyon." said Nya.
"Probability of us making it that far is less than 8 percent." said Zane.
"Never tell me the odds!" said Nya.
"It's coming in for another attack. Port side." said Cole.
"We're losing speed. We'll drop to the ground pretty soon." said Lloyd.
Nalia had been staring at the floor the whole time, not remembering when she got back to the Bounty. But she slowly lifted her head, looking at the Devourer.
"You.... little pest," Nalia growled, getting up from her chair and walking onto the deck with her eyes glaring deadly into its own. A golden glow surrounded her, with the faint image of a huge golden dragon standing in her place. "How dare you!"
Everyone turned their attention to Nalia in shock, by what they were seeing.
"Lia...." Lloyd whispered.
Two glowing symbols on Nalia's back turned to dust, as stars from the sky began shooting down on the big snake.
"You dare take another person from me!" shouted Nalia in pure rage, "I'll make you PAY FOR IT!" A meteor got summoned from the sky and landed right on the Devourer. Even the ground started shaking because of the sheer force and power of the meteor.
Nalia got ready to send another cosmic force at the Great Devourer but stopped as she felt arms wrapped around her.
"Lia, it's over. So please, calm down," said Lloyd as he hugged her.
Nalia turned her head, looking at Lloyd. She began calming down, and the golden glow faded along with the dragon.
"Lloydie....." Finally feeling the energy leaving her body, she passed out in his arms.
"What just happened?" Jay asked.
"I'm not sure." said Kai.
"Well, at least we don't have to worry about the big guy anymore," said Cole, only for the Devourer to come up from under the sand and bite off an engine.
"Abandon ship!" shouted Nya.
"Goodbye, old friend." said Zane.
*They leave, and the Devourer swallows the Bounty.*
"No!"
"Unh, it's gone." said Cole.
"Oh, that was too intense. All that action makes you so thirsty." said Kai.
Lloyd gently placed Nalia on the ground to ensure she was okay before returning his attention to the others.
"There's no time to rest. We need to warn people before it becomes bigger." said Zane.
"Bigger? Bigger!? That thing in one big bite crushed our entire ship! We need to save as many as we can. Uh, uh, we'll find some kind of refuge, somewhere safe to hide. Ooh, the Serpentine Tombs. Yeah, they're underground. Sure, we'll be without sunlight for months, but they're perfect." said Jay.
Nalia slowly began waking up to the sound of Jay's rambling, rubbing her head as she looked around. It was nowhere to be seen because they weren't on the Bounty anymore.
"And what? Just give up?" Cole asked.
"You know as well as I do, we have no chance at stopping that thing!" said Jay.
"Hey, stop it! Listen to yourselves. Is this what Sensei Wu would've wanted? Us fighting? Running and hiding? Giving up?" said Kai.
"But he's not here anymore," said Lloyd; everyone begins to mourn losing their master.

Everyone turned their attention to Nalia as they heard the sound of her singing. They hadn't even noticed that she was awake until now.

Nalia sang at full volume as she danced over to each teammate; a faint golden glow surrounded her once more. She used the sand to glide around, small stars dancing around her.
Everyone could feel their energy returning to them, and any scratches or bruises they had faded away.
"I'm not afraid to say that - I'm weak
I'm proud of every scar that's on me
I can laugh about the pain
While I wipe my tears away
But I know I can't keep on - pretending

Nalia took Lloyd's hands and began dancing with him; the stars dancing around her moved over to him. She went on to have them glide around with her sand powers.

Nalia slowly finished singing as the golden glow, once again, went away, along with the stars dancing around them.
"Lia.... that was..." said Lloyd before quickly catching her as she fell over. Nalia knew she had been using too much energy, first the fight with the Devourer, where she had used a new power she didn't think she had, and then now, where she used her healing powers.
Kai feeling his determination returned after Nalia song, looked at the team. "He might be gone, but his teachings live on. Sensei once told me it's not the size of a ninja in a fight, it's the size of the fight in the ninja. All this training, all of these battles we've had with skeletons and Serpentine. We've persevered through so much, we can't just give up now. A ninja never admits defeat. A ninja always pick himself up when he is down. Which is exactly what Sensei Wu would want us to do right now."
"but how do we destroy a snake of that magnitude?" Zane asked
"Yeah, it's not like we have an extra Sacred Flute lying around to charm it. Or wait, haha, how about one of our awesome Dragons? Oh, I forgot. They took off and left us high and dry. Or, hey, what about out Golden Weapons? Which will do nothing against a snake that size. Heh, oh, we are so hooped." said Jay.
"Ah, Jay's right. We would need a weapon so big." said Cole.
"Or an idea that's even bigger! Ha! Jay, you're a genius! You thinking what I'm thinking?" said Kai, looking over at Jay.
"Probably not, but go ahead." said Jay.
"There's no time. I'll fill you guys in on the way." said Kai.
"Wha—Where are we going?" Jay asked.
"We're going to destroy that snake once and for all." said Kai.
"Lia, are you okay?" Lloyd asked, having Nalia lean on him.
"I'm fine, Lloydie..... just tired," said Nalia, having an arm over his shoulder and her head resting against his other shoulder.
"What was that earlier? That huge dragon-looking thing was around you, and then you started throwing meteors. That isn't normal." said Lloyd.
Nalia looked down at the ground. "I don't know..... I really don't know Lloyd."
*Later, the ninjas makes it to Ed & Edna's Scrap N Junk.*
"Good idea, Kai. If the Devourer likes to consume, this place is a full-on buffet." said Cole.
Jay sighs. "Looks like my parents are gone."
"Good, better for us." Kai lays out a blueprint on the front of a broken car.
"It's so awesome." said Jay.
"Zane, you still have a recording of the Sacred Flute in your memory bank?" Kai asked.
"It might've been destroyed earlier, but I have its exact tone recorded and ready for playback." Zane plays the flute recording.
Nalia and Lloyd sat down, leaning against the broken car. Nalia rests her head on Lloyd's shoulder, trying to gather some energy.
"Good. And there should be enough spare parts around here to build this whopper. But we're gonna need to create our biggest Tornado of Creation yet. This is gonna be dangerous and we can't have anyone around." said Kai.
The Postman enters the Junkyard Whistling a tune.
"Ugh. What's he doing here?" Cole and Kai run up to him.
"Aah! You ninjas are always sneaking around, giving people heart attacks. You're too quiet." said the Postman.
"Sorry, didn't mean to scare you. But you need to get out of here, now." said Kai.
"Uh, well, now, I too have a job to do, and that's delivering the mail, which I plan to do." The Postman pulls out the Walkers' mail which Jay takes.
"Look, dude, my parents aren't even here. You really should be on your way." said Jay.
"Them, too? Uh, let me guess, are they at the "Take Back Ninjago" rally too?" The Postman guessed.
"Uh, "Take Back Ninjago" rally?" Jay asked.
"What, you guys haven't heard? Everyone's getting together for a rally in the city. You know, to raise awareness about all the Serpentine problems that have been surfacing lately." said the Postman.
"Whoa, would you look at that. You guys are inspirational." said Lloyd, as he had a look at the blueprint. While looking over at Nalia, who was still resting against the broken car.
"Wait a minute, you know what? You guys are right. Wherever you guys are, trouble is always around the corner." As the Postman speaks, the ninjas notice the Devourer approaching and get into battle stances. "I think I'll be leaving now 'cause whatever you guys are up to, I want no part of it." He looks behind him to see the Devourer. "Aah! S-s-snake!" He jumps in a trash can.
Nya quickly picks up Nalia and hides with Lloyd behind her.
" Hey! It's now or never, guys! Ninja, go! Fire!" said Kai.
"Earth!"
"Lightning!"
"Ice!" They use the Tornado of Creation and take the junk around them to make the Ultra Sonic Raider.
"Zane, now!" shouted Kai.
Zane plays the recording, but the Devourer dodges it.
"Zane, what was that? This isn't target practice. You're supposed to hit him, not give him a haircut." said Cole.
"May I remind you we just magically whipped up this heap of junk?" said Zane.
"Well, I hope one of us created a reverse feature because...reverse!" said Kai.
"How's this for reverse?" Cole asked.
"I need your help holding him in place." said Zane.
"How's this?" Jay uses a grapple hook. "Got him!"
"Before it gets away! Now, Zane. now! Take the shot." shouted Kai.
"Charm your way out of this." said Zane.
"It's working!" said Cole.
"It's got a weak spot." Kai points to a small, glowing green spot at the base of its head.
"What?" said Cole.
"On its forehead. It's got a—" The Devourer strikes Zane's cockpit from behind with its tail.
"Zane!" shouted everyone as the Devourer leaves.
"Is everybody okay?" Cole asked.
"Where's Zane?" Lloyd asked.
"Right here." Zane emerges from the damaged cockpit now missing the left side of his face, revealing the robotics underneath. "That was close."
"Too close." said Kai.
"What, *yawns* was too close?" Nalia asked, slowly waking up as Nya put her back on the ground.
"Umm, nothing." said Lloyd, not wanting to see her having another break down.
"Perfect. Now that was a total failure." said Jay.
"Not total. Did you guys notice on his forehead? It has a weak spot." said Kai.
"Oh, great, let me make a note of that. Giant snake has wee, itty-bitty weak spot that'll be" Jay raises his voice. ""TOTALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO GET AT BECAUSE THE THING IS TOO RIDICULOUSLY HUGE TO DO ANYTHING TO STOP IT!!!!!!!!"
"Are you done?" Nya asked.
Jay takes a deep breath. "Yes."
"Because things just got worse. Look." said Nya.
Nalia watched the team and again noticed a few scratches and bruises. She opened her mouth to sing another song, but the moment she tried, she felt herself losing energy and falling over, but Lloyd was quickly at her side.
"I don't think you have the energy for another song, let alone fight," said Lloyd.
"But I wanna, *yawns* help you guys." said Nalia.
"Then stay with me, and I'm sure we can both help," said Lloyd, smiling.
"Okay." said Nalia, leaning against him.
"It's heading toward Ninjago City." said Zane.
"That's where my parents are." said Jay.
"So is everybody else." said Cole.
"If it consumes the biggest city in all of Ninjago, there will be no stopping it." said Kai.
*The citizens continue attending the rally.*
"Hey, hey, what do we say? We want snakes to slither away. Hey, hey, what do we say? We want snakes to slither away. Hey, hey, what do we say? We want snakes to slither away. Hey, hey, what do we say..." repeated the crowd.
*In Ninjago Metro*
"Huh. That's strange. The system is saying there's a train entering the city on Track 9." said man 1.
"Uh, we don't have any trains entering on Track 9." said man 2.
"Well, there's something big coming our way." said man 1.
The citizens scream as the Devourer emerges. Ed tries to start the jalopy, but it's broken.
"Oh, boy. Oh, gosh. Oh, golly. Oh, gosh." said Ed.
"Mom? Dad? Leave my parents alone! Lightning!" shouted Jay.
"Fire!" shouted Kai.
"Are you getting this?" asked the reporter.
"Roll camera." said cameraman.
"Mind if I borrow this?" Cole throws their van at the Devourer.
"Go, ninja, go!" shouted the reporter.
"Ice!" shouted Zane.
"Uh, I think we only made it mad." said Jay.
*Garmadon enters Mystake's Tea Shop.*
"Traveler's Tea." said Garmadon.
"Only a fool requests Traveler's Tea." Mystake turns around and sees who she's talking to. "But you are not a fool. Uh, let me go get some in the back."
Reporter on TV. "And I here live, caught in an epic ninja versus snake battle. People, I have never seen bravery like this before. But I fear the ninjas are no match for a beast this size. People are recommended to flee or run away, waving their arms wildly while screaming like little children." The ninjas are scattered on the ground as the Devourer lunges at them; the Samurai Mech stops it by holding its mouth open with a light post.
"Samurai to the rescue. Again." said Jay.
"Its breath smells worse than Cole's chili." said Lloyd.
"Yeah, I think I might throw up," said Nalia, using her scarf to try and cover the smell.
"Hey!" shouted Cole, offended.
"Get out of there, sis!" shouted Kai.
"I can't! I'm stuck!" shouted Nya, until the Ultra Dragon attacked the beast and rescued Nya, Nalia, and Lloyd.
"They are back!" cheered Nalia.
"Rocky! Our Dragons are back." shouted Cole.
"It appears Dragons go through a metamorphosis when they reach adulthood. They too have found their True Potential." said Zane.
"Ha! They couldn't have come at a better time. Go get them, Rocky! Go!" shouted Cole.
Shard's head blasts the Devourer with Ice breath.
"Ice!" Flame's head uses fire breath on it.
"Fire!" Wisp's head shocks it.
"Lightning!" Rocky's head then slams it head on.
"Earth! Can Dragons get any cooler? Seriously." said Cole.
"Yes! It's running away." said Kai, but the Devourer strikes the Dragon with its tail.
"NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!" The Ultra Dragon hits the ground.
"No!" shouted Cole.
"What now?" Nya asked.
Lloyd and Nalia turns around to find Garmadon.
"Mister Garmadon!" said Nalia, smiling.
"You came back!" said Lloyd, surprised.
"Give me the weapons. I am the only one who can handle the power of all four weapons at once. It's the only thing that'll defeat the Devourer." said Garmadon.
"Uh, I thought we were supposed to do everything in our power not to let him possess the weapons." said Jay.
"I've ran every other scenario through my servers. It appears to be the only way." said Zane.
"Give me the weapons." said Garmadon.
"Kai?" Zane looked over at Kai.
"Only I can destroy it. Or prepare to watch—" Garmadon tried to explain but was cut off.
"Quit your yammering and just do it." Kai throws him the Sword of Fire. "When you have a chance to make the blow, it has a weak spot near his forehead." By now, everyone but Jay has given the Dark Lord their weapons.
"Jay, please," said Nalia, giving him the puppy eyes, which he couldn't resist.
Jay sighs as he gives him the Nunchucks of Lightning. "Uh, I don't think this needs to be said, but we're gonna need these back."
Garmadon chuckles. "I'll do my part. You just make sure he stays in one spot." He laughs and runs away.
"Stays in one spot? Stays in one spot!? How are we supposed to do that?" Jay asked.
"Don't forget: we're ninja." said Kai.
*Skipping to the ninjas, baiting the Devourer.*
"Come on, you overgrown worm. Take the bait. Come and get me. Whoa!" Kai runs throughout the city until he reaches Cole.
"Nice run. Now I'll take it from here. Whoo-hoo!" Cole leaps over buildings into a Construction site. The Devourer reaches it only to find Jay waiting for it.
"Looking for me?" It lunges at Jay, only for the Lightning ninja to jump down an elevator shaft: he uses his True Potential to fly up with the beast, following him until he reaches the top floor.
"What took you so long?" Zane asked.
"Save the humor, Zane. Now's not the time." said Jay.
"Instead of a fire escape, how about an ice escape!" They jump across an ice slide.
"Haha, nice one, Zane." They fly off the end as the Devourer opens wide. "No, no!"
"Now!" shouted Jay, and the Ultra Dragon catches the two just in time.
"You think it's working?" Jay asked.
"We're about to find out." said Kai.
They managed to make the Devourer bite its tail. They cheer.
"We did it! Now, where's Garmadon? He's not gonna hold on for much longer." said Cole.
"Look!" Nalia and Lloyd pointed up at a skyscraper.
The sky becomes engulfed by dark clouds, and Garmadon is on the roof of a skyscraper. "Dad!" shouted Lloyd.
"You are the reason evil runs through my blood. You bit me once. Now feel what it's like to be bitten back." Garmadon unleashes a purple energy as he jumps.
"Go get him, Dad." said Lloyd.
"Vengeance will be mine!" Garmadon destroys the Devourer, and its venom spreads throughout the city. Everyone cheers.
"He did it." said Jay.
"No, we did it!" said Cole.
Nalia cheered happily and began dancing around with Lloyd. "We did it! We did it!"
"L-Lia, not in public!" shouted Lloyd, blushing at them dancing around as people emerged from where they were hiding.
*Later, The ninjas walks up to Ed and Edna.*
"Ooh, our little ninja." said Edna.
"Hey, there you are, you big lug." Cole pets the Ultra Dragon. "It's good to have you back."
"I don't see my dad." said Lloyd, looking around.
"He should be around here somewhere." said Kai.
"Your analysis is incorrect. He is not here." said Zane.
"Then our Golden Weapons are gone too. Well, isn't that convenient?" said Cole.
"Look, his footsteps." said Nya.
"I have a feeling you'll see your father again soon." said Kai.
"I know, but that's what I'm afraid of," said Lloyd.
Nalia smiled, petting the Ultra Dragon, before turning her attention to Lloyd. Walking over and taking his hand. "Then we'll face him together, greenie."
A soft smile grew on Lloyd's face, along with a slight blush. "Yeah, together."
"Ah, Sensei Wu!" said Cole.
Nya gasps. "Wow!"
"Sensei!" shouted Nalia, happy and surprised at the same time, as tears began forming in the corner of her eyes.
"Ha! Would you look at that! He survived!" said Jay.
"I can't tell you how glad I am to see you!" Wu passes his pupils to pick up his teapot. "The Devourer left a bad taste in my mouth." He drinks some tea. "Ah. Much better. And still hot."
"It's good to have you back, uncle. But my father left and he took the Golden Weapons." said Lloyd.
"Ah, very true. The ability of the weapon is truly great, but the ability to better oneself makes you limitless." said Wu.
"I couldn't have said it any better myself." said Jay.
"Besides, we have what is most important: you." said Kai.
"The pupils have become the masters." said Wu.
"Am I really gonna have to fight my father one day?" Lloyd asked.
"One day. But today we can feel good that Ninjago is saved, for tomorrow you will train for the day. Good will finally face evil and a final outcome will be decided for all of time." said Wu.
"Uh, but don't worry. We're gonna teach you everything we know." said Kai.
"And make sure you're prepared for that fight." said Jay.
"Because as we all know, good will always stand up to evil." said Cole.
"And ninja will always stand up for what is right." said Zane.
"A ninja are never alone; where there is one, there is always more close by," said Nalia.
"Go, ninja, go!"
