Chapter 48 - Season 5: Grave Danger

Well, this is an interesting chapter for Nalia.

Looks like she is gonna have a bright future. :D

There are two songs in this chapter.

____________________________________________________________

*Flashback.*

"You sure do love singing, don't you ever get tired of it?" Morro asked as he was carrying a bag of food, having just stolen some while Nalia was distracting people with her singing.

"Nope, I could never get tired of it." said Nalia with a bright smile on her face only to then turn to a pout. "The only thing I don't like about it, is you having me use it to keep people's from you stealing."

Morro rolled his eyes and simply ruffled her hair. "Don't be a stick in the mud now Lia, with no money we have to get food in some way. And a little stealing hasn't hurt anyone."

Nalia batted his hand away from her head and gave a small huff. "But it does hurt anyone we take it from. Stealing isn't a nice thing to do, and I hate being part of it."

"This is a harsh time Nalia, with the serpentine war going on we have to look out for ourselves." Morro told her when handing her a mango.

A sad expression grew on Nalia's face when hearing this, even with the mango handed to her. She couldn't get herself to eat something that was stolen. "But still..."

Morro let out a heavy sigh. "Fine, I'll figure something out with the money, without stealing. You happy now?"

"Yay!" Nalia cheered with a bright smile once more on her face.

Though feeling a little annoyed with Nalia whenever it came to stealing, he couldn't help but smile a bit when seeing her in a good mood. "We should probably also start moving again, can't stay in one place too long."

"Right, because you're on some big mission to... umm to... what was it again?" said Nalia but had trouble remembering what it was.

"To prove I'm the Green Ninja. That will show my old Sensei that he was wrong. And destiny can screw itself." said Morro with confidence.

"Screw itself? What does a screw have to do with it? Wouldn't a tool work better for a screw?" Nalia asked confused.

Morro couldn't help by facepalm himself at Nalia's stupidity. "That's not what I meant."

"It's not? Then what did you mean?" Nalia asked curiously.

"It means you're gonna hand over your belongings or we beat you up." said a man with a beard getting in their way with his gang.

"Huh? But that isn't nice." said Nalia, not taking notice of the danger.

Morro took a step in front of her and handed the bag of food to her. "I think the ones getting the beat up are gonna be you guys. Unless you back off."

The gang just laughs at his words, not taking him seriously as they proceeded to pull out some knives.

"Aww how sweet, big brother trying to act brave for his sister. Why don't we show what happens to those acting stupidly grave?" The bearded man laughs as the gang walked towards them.

Morro clicked his tongue in annoyance. "Lia, stay behind me, and no matter what. Don't get in the way."

Nalia looked up at Morro and began growing worried seeing how serious he was getting. "We could just give them the bag, no need for any fighting."

"Not happening, not after we got it." said Morro then charged at the gang, using the wind to throw them around.

Nalia didn't like seeing Morro fighting other people and hurting them in the process, but she didn't know what she could do to help. She looked down at the bag in her hands.

A sudden scream caught Morro's attention as he quickly turned around to his surprise in seeing Nalia having been stabbed in the side when trying to stop one of the thugs from ambushing Morro from behind.

"Nalia?!" Morro acted quickly by using the wind sent the guy who stabbed her, into the air and then crash into a building.

Nalia was crying out in pain as blood was running down from where the knife was still stuck in her.

"Nalia you idiot, I told you not to get in the way!" Morro tried having her lay down so he could take out the knife, but Nalia simply shook her head and didn't want to lay down.

"You were gonna get h-hurt! And I-I-I had to do something!" Nalia cried with tears running down her face.

"That doesn't mean you have to get hurt instead from trying to help. Now lay down so I can remove that knife and look at that wound." Morro told her in a harsh tone.

The pain of the knife being slowly pulled out only caused Nalia to cry out even more, but tried holding it in until the knife was out.

Morro tried being as gentle as he could when removing the knife, until it was finally out. "Alright, now let's check on that wound."

Nalia shaking from the pain and fear, took a few shaky breath before she began slowly singing in a small song.

(The song she is singing. Yes I picked the one where she sings it as a child.)

(link to song)

"Flower, gleam and glow

Let your power shine

Make the clock reverse

Bring back what once was mine.~"

"Now is the worst time to be singing sis." said Morro but were surprised when he saw her glowing and slowly the stab wound began to heal. "What the fuck?"

"Heal what has been hurt

Change the Fates' design

Save what has been lost

Bring back what once was mine

What once was mine.~"

Nalia was now breathing softly and had ended up unconscious from all the stress and pain.

"Looks like she isn't just a normal kid." Morro gently stroke her hair before picking up the bag with some of the food that had fallen out, he glanced at the some of the thugs of that gang that were still alive and narrowed his eyes. "How about we finish where we left off?"

*End of flashback.*

"W-well you see sir—Mr. James, right now Nalia can't come to the phone." said Kai having picked up Nalia's phone as it had been calling for a while.

Nalia slowly opened her eyes when hearing Kai's voice, and turned her head to see what was happening.

"Right, right, I'll let Nalia know that you called." said Kai ending the call.

"What's going on?" Nalia asked slowly sitting up, giving a wince in pain.

"Nalia, you're awake!" said Jay with relief. "We got so worried when you passed out."

"I would suggest not moving too much Nalia, you are still injured from the Sword of Sanctuary." Zane told her.

"What did Mr. James wanna talk about? Was it about the window and pillow?" Nalia asked, when giving back her phone.

"Window and pillow?" Cole asked confused.

"Uhh, no. It was something completely else but he couldn't share as it had something to do with work." Kai explained.

"Oh." Nalia raised an eyebrow looking at her phone. "How far are we from the old man's tomb?"

"There's still a bit of a distance until we are there, so if you're thinking about calling your manager. This might be the only time you have right now." Jay told her.

"...Right." Nalia turned on her phone and began calling Mr. James.

"You think we can have her wait for us in the airship, while we find the tomb?" Jay whispered.

"This is Nalia we are talking about." Kai whispered, then glanced over at her. "I doubt that is possible. She is too stubborn."

"I have to agree, she even went with us into the same cave that killed Morro." Cole whispered.

Nalia was tapping her foot until she heard someone picking up her call. "Hey, Mr. James! I heard you wanted to talk to me, sorry about that... This isn't about the window and pillow by chance?" A nervous smile grew on her face.

"Hello Miss Starlight. No, it is not, but we will get to that." said Mr. James not sounding amused by that topic. "Anyway, I called you because I took in your suggestions of those song themes that you mentioned that you wanted to make."

"Oh really?" said Nalia a little surprised, but tried being careful with her words. Since her contract mentioned that she couldn't share anything about work with the public. Which also meant friends and family.

"Yes really, and because of your suggestion I got a call from someone from another agency. They had a brilliant idea that could help boost both our agencies." Mr. James explained with excitement.

"Uuuh, I'm not sure, I follow Mr. James." said Nalia a bit confused.

The ninjas watched Nalia speaking with her manager over the phone, and whatever Mr. James was telling her had the expression on Nalia's face grow a little...sour, so to say.

"I don't thing that is good." Jay whispered.

"But that would be a lie. I don't do lies." said Nalia narrowing her eyes.

"Starlight, in this line of work you sometimes have to lie and make stuff up. And in the public eye they would eat this up." Mr. James explained to her.

A low growl came from Nalia as her annoyance only seemed to grow. "I took this job because I love singing and making people happy."

Mr. James gave a sigh at Nalia's growing anger. "I understand that, but if you wanna do songs like that, then you have to be open to this idea. Who knows, maybe something will happen."

The airship slightly shook when Nalia punched a wall, scaring the ninjas.

"That is clearly not good." said Cole a little nervous.

"Looks like even Nalia has bad times with work it seems." said Kai.

"You can at least think it over and give a call later. Now, about the window and pillow what hap—" Nalia ended the call and put away her phone, ignoring the growing pain from the hand she punched the wall with.

"So, trouble with work?" Zane asked.

"Can we please not talk about it? I just wanna focus on that tomb and saving Lloyd." said Nalia tried to calm down.

*Later under the Endless Sea.*

"We're almost to the Tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master." said Zane.

"Yeah. Can't believe we're almost there after all we've been through." said Cole in disbelief.

"I can't believe I'm underwater." said Kai, the R.E.X. being surrounded by water.

"You? What about me? Just how thick is this glass?" Cole taps the glass a couple times.

Wu suddenly appears on screen. "We're heading to your location now. With Morro already ahead of you and able to foresee the traps protecting the tomb with the Sword of Sanctuary, it's going to be up to you five to find the Realm Crystal before he does."

"Hehe, Cole's a Ghost, Kai can't swim, Nalia is still recovering from her injuries, and we have no magical sword or Elemental Powers." Jay laughs nervously. "What could go wrong?"

Misako were now on screen. "I may not know the three tests you're about to face, but I discovered a riddle that makes reference to it that may help: "A Spinjitzu Master can. A Spinjitzu Master cannot. To move forward, don't look ahead, to find his resting spot." "

"Huh. That's food for thought." said Cole.

"You can give food to your thoughts?" Nalia asked confused.

"No it's just a saying." Cole told her.

"Oh, okay." said Nalia.

Jay sees a Leviathan and gulps. "Speaking of food, we're about to be some!"

"We have to go faster. Much faster." said Jay as the Leviathan cracks R.E.X.'s glass. "Why did the tomb have to be underwater?"

"Hold on!" shouted Cole.

"Ugh! What kind of weapons is this thing equipped with?" Jay asked.

"We don't need weapons. Aim for that rock!" Zane told them.

"On it." said Cole going for the rock.

The moment they were getting close to the rock, Nalia summoned a few bright stars to blind the Leviathan for a second.

The Leviathan gets stuck. Everyone cheers.

"Yeah! All right! Thatta Boy, R.E.X.! Thatta boy!" Jay cheered.

"You too Nalia, nice thinking of using the light from the stars." said Zane smiling.

Nalia returned the smile with a small yawn, feeling a bit sleepy once more. "Are you kidding me? I thought I was done being tired."

*Morro sighs as he looks at the Sword's reflection on the second test. The ninjas and Nalia arrive at the tomb's entrance.*

"If you wanna hide a tomb, this looks like a good place. We're here." said Cole as they all got out of R.E.X.

Jay picks up a cloth left behind by Morro. "Argh! There goes any hope Morro couldn't find this place."

Nalia took the cloth and gave it a sniff. "No, I believe he is still looking. Even though I can't see him, I know he is stubborn."

"Stay positive. We're about to risk our lives going through traps we know nothing about. All we have to rely on is each other. At least feel lucky we got this far." said Kai glancing at Jay.

"Oh, I'm sorry. You're right. What was I thinking?" Jay began shouted in a sarcastic tone "Hey, there goes any hope Morro couldn't find the tomb! We're not alone! Yay! Now we're gonna have to fight him again! Sure we got our tails handed to us last time, but you never know in the future, because ninja never quit!" He tone returns to normal. "Better?"

"Eh, I'll take it." said Kai with a shrug.

"It's better than nothing." said Nalia.

Zane points to a statue. "Look!"

"The First Spinjitzu Master. Creator of all Ninjago." said Cole surprised.

"Whoa." said Kai.

"Also known as the old man." said Nalia not at all impressed.

"Destination reached. Auto return initiated." said R.E.X.

"Uh what now?" Nalia asked.

"Auto return? No, no! Bad, R.E.X.! Bad!" shouted Jay as they chase after R.E.X., but it submerges underwater.

"Our Aeroblade weapons were in there." said Zane.

"And my staff." said Nalia having quickly realized that.

"Ugh, not to mention our only way back." said Kai frustrated.

"Hey, stay positive! Who needs a way back when we gotta go that way?" said Jay.

"No sword, no powers, no problem. We can do this, guys. As long as we got each other, right?" said Kai trying to be positive.

"Brother sharpens brother and sister." said Cole.

Nalia gave a small nod and started following right behind the others.

They go to the first test and see doors with symbols on each.

"This could be the first test." said Cole when looking at the doors.

"Ooh! Why did it have to be tests? Why can't the tomb just be protected by Dragons? We're good with Dragons." Jay questioned.

"I think we're supposed to pick a door, but which one?" Kai asked.

"Um, what was it Misako said?" Jay asked.

"A Spinjitzu Master can. A Spinjitzu Master cannot. To move forward, don't look ahead, to find his resting spot." Zane answered.

"A Spinjitzu master can. Can what?" Kai asked.

"Sixteen doors, for Sixteen Realms?" Jay guessed.

Nalia took a closer look at the doors, slowly getting a headache as if she was trying to remember something that she didn't know.

"Well, could be. But let me guess, pick the wrong door and we'll be in a realm of hurt." said Cole.

"Oh, I wish we had the Sword right about now." said Jay with a sigh.

"We can figure this out. "A Spinjitzu Master can." Can..." Kai tried thinking it over on what the answer could be.

"The symbol above this door, it's a tornado. This could be the one, right?" Jay asked walking up to one of the doors.

"You could be right." said Kai.

"Jay, wait!" said Zane, seeming to have noticed something.

"Picture recognition analyzing. Pattern discovered." Pixal told him.

"Step away from that door, Jay." Zane pulls him away.

"W-what is it?" Jay asked.

"Did you figure something out?" Nalia asked looking over at Zane with a raised eyebrow.

"We're inside a zoetrope." said Zane.

"What?" Nalia asked confused.

"A zoe-what?" Kai asked just as confused.

"A zoetrope. The engravings in rapid succession creates a moving image." Zane explained.

"Uh, I don't get it." said Cole still confused.

" "A Spinjitzu Master can." Do Spinjitzu!" Kai suddenly realized.

"Exactly." Zane does Spinjitzu. "He's creating some sort of shape." He stops and points to a door with the corresponding image. "That one. That's the door out."

"I don't know, Zane. Isn't that the same door we came in? Are you sure?" Jay asked.

"Are you sure you want to doubt a Nindroid?" Zane asked him.

"Open the door. Let's find out." said Kai.

Jay opens it and finds the second test.

"Well that was easy." said Nalia a little surprised.

"But...that's wasn't here before. How can it be the way, if that's the way we came in?" Cole asked.

"Well, welcome to the Tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master." said Kai.

"Hey, hey! Nice one, Zane. Who needs the Sword of Sanctuary when you've got a Nindroid?" said Jay cheerfully.

Nalia took a glance behind them as they entered the next room for the second test. Though she couldn't see him, she was sure Morro was close by and watching.

Kai notices a golden staff. "The Staff of the First Spinjitzu Master."

"Wait! This is the second test, remember? Zane, what do you think?" Cole asked looking over at Zane.

"Pixal can see no pattern. For this riddle room, I'm at a loss." said Zane with a shrug.

"Nalia?" Cole went on to asked.

Nalia looked around the room and over at the staff, something about it felt a little off to her. "I'm not sure."

"Think about it. The first test was a "A Spinjitzu Master can." So this one's "A Spinjitzu Master cannot." Though, saying it out loud, I don't like the sound of that." said Jay.

"Hmm." Kai steps on a tile that activates a trap. "Uh-oh!" Everyone dodges it.

"Is everyone okay?" Cole asked.

"Oh, that was a close one." said Zane.

"Every step, uh, a trap." said Jay.

"Oh mangos, this isn't good." said Nalia.

"How does one reach the staff if it becomes more difficult with every step to get there? If I'm correct, this riddle room poses quite the conundrum. Unless Nalia flies to the staff." said Zane.

"So if a Spinjitzu Master can't do it, how are we supposed to reach the staff?" Cole asked.

"I'm pretty sure flying would be cheating, and it wouldn't solve the test," said Nalia, not wanting to make a wrong move.

"Watch and learn." Kai uses Airjitzu, but activates another trap. "Huh? What—uh-oh!" He dodges it, but activates more traps in the process.

"No. Wait!" shouted Cole.

"Not that one!" Jay shouted.

"Just stop!" shouted Zane.

"Please stop moving!" shouted Nalia.

Jay steps back and accidentally hits a tile.

"Oh, no!" shouted Kai.

Cole is hit by an obstacle, but is unaffected. "Wait, I'm a ghost. What am I worried about?" The wrecking ball pushes a button and water starts leaking out. "That! That, I can worry about!"

"I can make it." said Kai.

"Kai!" shouted Zane and Nalia.

"No!" shouted Cole.

"Will everyone please stop moving!?" shouted Jay.

*After no more traps are active, the ninjas and Nalia are each standing on their own tiles.*

Nalia felt a growing frustration with how their situation was right now. Not to mention her talk with Mr. James and then there is Morro's offer.

"I can make it. It's just a hop, skip, and a jump." Kai tries to use Airjitzu, but the tiles under him fall, making him crawl back.

"But what else comes with a hop, skip, and a jump? You trigger one more trap, I don't know how much more we can take." said Cole annoyed.

"The clue clearly said this is a test a Spinjitzu Master cannot do. So why are we not listening to the clue!?" shouted Jay frustrated.

"I'm asking the same thing here." said Nalia with a deep breath, a bit of fire escaping.

"Maybe we should take a moment to think it over more carefully. As I'm not sure how much longer Lia is gonna take it." said Zane seeing her growing frustration.

"Trust me, I can make it." said Kai with confident.

"Wait. What if it's a trick? What if the reason we can't do it is because we were never meant to reach the staff? What is the first rule of being a ninja?" Cole questioned looking at the others.

"A ninja never quits." said Nalia quickly catching on.

"Exactly, and that's why we can't do it. Because a ninja would never give up." said Cole.

"What are you trying to say? We just quit? Are you insane?" Kai asked.

"This time, trust me." Cole jumps off his tile.

"Cole!" shouted everyone in shock.

"Whoo-hoo! Haha! Come on down and enjoy the ride!" shouted Cole.

"He's alive!" said Zane with relief.

*The ninjas and Nalia jump down and fall down on a slide.*

"Seriously? Try to stay together!" shouted Kai.

"Stay together? I'm just trying to stay in one piece! Aah!" shouted Jay.

"No!" shouted Cole.

Unlike the others, Nalia was having it a lot easier as the slide was like whenever she would used her sand powers to slide around when she was singing.

"Oh, great. Aah!" Kai lands on top of Zane. "Sorry."

The ninja grab on to an ice stalagmite.

"No, no! Aah!" Zane falls.

"Uh-oh. Aah!" Jay falls, and Cole falls as well.

"Oh, no!" Kai accidentally grabs two icicles. "Huh?" He sees Jay using them as skis.

"Whoo-hoo! I love skiing! Haha!" Jay laughs skiing, and Kai does the same. "Yeah!"

"Now it's actually getting fun for once, haha!" Nalia laughed while sliding around.

"All right!" shouted Cole.

*They fall through a wall, leading them to the third test.*

"Is everyone okay?" Zane asked.

"What did we get ourselves into?" Kai asked.

"That was fun, can we do that again?" Nalia asked.

Jay climbs up a wall. "Oh, it's a maze! I'm great at mazes!"

Kai looks at his reflection, but notices he looks older. "Huh! Whoa! If my reflection means anything, I'm starting to think we won't be breaking out of this maze any time at all."

"My reflection. Is that...me? I look older, but our attire is different. I don't believe these reflections reveal our inability to escape, but a mere glimpse of our future selves." said Zane.

"Misako said "To move forward, don't look ahead." Is that what it means? Wait a minute, why is it I can't see my reflection? Where is my reflection?" Cole questioned.

"It's probably because you're a Ghost." said Kai.

"Ghosts cast reflections, Kai. He's probably just looking in the wrong place." said Zane.

"I am looking at the same place you are." said Cole.

"Hey, where did Nalia go?" Kai asked.

"Huh? She was just here a moment ago." said Zane.

When watching the others seeing their reflections of their future selves, made Nalia curious about her own. So decided to take a look around herself in the maze until she got to a big open space.

Taking a step closer to one of the walls she was surprised by her own reflection.

She tilted her head to the side and the reflection of a golden and white dragon did the same, but it part of its face was seriously scarred. "T-that can't be me. But... the others seemed to have seen their own future selves."

Nalia was surprised and didn't know how to take it, but that wasn't the only reflection she had. The further she walked down and looking at the walls, she saw another reflection.

This reflection was nothing but a horrific shock to her, as what she saw blood everywhere. Most of not all of the ninjas lying dead on the ground, and her on knees. Body shaking with tears and blood running down her face while looking at something or someone.

"N-no, this—that can't be... everyone is... no... I..." Nalia stepped back from her reflections, struggling to breathe while tears ran down her face.

In full panic and fear Nalia ran away, missing an reflection showing Lloyd wearing her scarf and seemed to be looking back at her.

"It can't be true, I refuse to believe that will be my future! I can't lose more people!" Nalia ran around without any thoughts besides the need to find and protect her friends and family.

"Nalia!" shouted the ninjas when they saw her.

Nalia stopped when hearing her name being called out, she looked up as her tunnel vision slowly faded away. Only to then see the ninjas standing together with what must be the Realm Crystal. And then on the other side of a river was Morro holding a weakened Lloyd with the Sword of Sanctuary pointed at him.

She was breathing heavily, the images of her future flashing into her head.

"As I said, you'll hand over the Crystal and Nalia, or say goodbye to your friend." Morro said with his sword close to Lloyd's throat.

"Lia don't worry about me. I'll—" Lloyd tried to reassure Nalia but stopped speaking when he felt the blade of the sword against his throat.

"Don't hurt him!" shouted Nalia in a panic, struggling to keep calm.

"I wouldn't, if you and the Crystal comes to me." Morro told her, narrowing his eyes. "And don't test me, Lia. Take my offer and he lives... barely."

"Hey! Give her a minute would you!" shouted Jay, only to get a threatening glare from Morro.

Nalia's head were fill with worry for everyone's safety, but tried to snap out of her panic attack. Slowly walking over to her friends, for comfort but more so to work out a plan.

"Stop stalling! Give me the Realm Crystal and Nalia, or else!" shouted Morro, sword against Lloyd's throat that it began drawing blood.

More flashes of images of blood from her reflection came to Nalia's mind when seeing the blood, but tried not to keep calm.

"We're not stalling! We're thinking!" shouted Kai as the ninjas and Nalia huddle together. "He's totally right, I'm stalling. What are we gonna do?"

"Ugh, this guy really chaps my hide. I swear, when this is all over..." Cole's anger makes the ground tremble slightly.

"Our powers. Now that Morro's out of Lloyd's body, they're starting to come back." said Kai with realization.

Jay grunts. "Yeah, but like Lloyd, they're weak. And we're in no position to fight back."

"Leave that to me. Be ready." said Kai.

"No, let me do it." said Nalia, more calm now.

"You sure?" Kai asked.

Nalia gave a small nod. "I have an idea of what your plan might me. So give me the Crystal. I can handle it."

"Time's up! You leave me no choice." said Morro and were about to cut up Lloyd.

Kai secretly heats up the Crystal and hands it over to Nalia.

"Don't! We'll give you the Crystal... and I'll take your offer. So please, don't hurt Lloyd." Nalia pleaded and slowly jumped over the river and handed him to Crystal.

Morro laughs as he takes it, but it burns his hand and he drops it into a river. "AAAAAAHHH!!!!!!! The Crystal! What have you done!?" Lloyd gets up and tries to fight but Morro pushes him into the stream with Wind.

"Lloyd!" shouted everyone.

Kai and Cole chase after Lloyd, while Zane and Jay go after Morro.

Nalia tried running after Kai and Cole, but was stopped by Morro that grabbed her wrist.

"Don't even think about it Nalia!" said Morro in a harsh tone.

"But he's gonna drown!" shouted Nalia tried to pull free.

"Then let him!" shouted Morro at her.

"I can't get to him. I can't swim!" shoute Kai chasing Lloyd.

"You can't swim? I can't touch the water! I'm a Ghost, remember? You at least had a reflection! What happens to me?" Cole told him.

Jay tries attacking Morro, but he lets go of Nalia and dodges his attack.

Zane freezes the Sword before Morro can stab Jay. "Nice one, Zane!"

"He's gonna drown!" shouted Cole.

"Ugh, this is crazy. What am I doing?" Kai dives in and grabs Lloyd.

Jay uses his Lightning, but Morro dodges and it hits Zane instead. "Oh, no. Kai's got Lloyd, but who's got Kai?"

"Oh, come on." said Cole.

"You have to grab them, Cole! Before they both go over!" shouted Zane.

Cole pulls both of them up, but sees the Crystal fall into the waterfall. "No!"

Nalia quickly jumps after the Crystal and since she was able to fly she easily caught it. But it didn't last long as her hands were still hurting from when she held the Crystal heated up. So she ended up letting go of it with a painful wince.

"Fuck." Nalia winced from the pain.

Morro uses his Wind to grab the Crystal. Then goes on and grabs Nalia and drags her along.

"Everyone run!" shouted Cole as he got ready to chase after them.

"No!" shouted the others.

"Morro let go of me!" shouted Nalia annoyed as she tried pulling herself free.

"Not happening Nalia. Unless you wanna lose your friends." Morro told her.

Nalia growled in annoyance, and for a moment went to reach for something under her scarf. But stopped in the last second, the thoughts of what she saw earlier coming back. "I can't lose more people. If I make a wrong move who knows what could happen?"

Noticing Nalia had gone quiet and wasn't fighting him as much, seems like he got through to her. Much to his relief. He then sees their boat about to sink. "Ugh! Must I do everything!?"

"You have the Realm Crystal. Let's get out of here." said Soul Archer as they travel to another Realm.

"They took the Realm Crystal. and Nalia." said Nya as she watched them with a spyglass.

*Later, in Stiix.*

The ground was slightly shaking from Nalia's growing frustration while sitting in a chair. Arms crossed and giving Morro the cold shoulder.

"Why does it feel like we brought a time bomb with us?" Bansha questioned, while they were hiding in an abandon building that was shaking because of Nalia.

Morro rolled his eyes and walked over to Nalia. "I know you're angry, but I only brought you with me so we wouldn't have to fight each other."

All he got was a low growl and Nalia wasn't even looking at him.

Morro gave a sigh and then went on to hold out a mango. "You must be hungry at least, and I know you like mangos."

However instead of taking the mango, Nalia lashed out and slapped the mango out of Morro's hands. "I don't want anything from you Morro! Not after everything you've done up until now!"

For once Morro was a little surprised by Nalia's reaction. He knew she was angry, but not this angry.

Soul Archer and Bansha looked at each other, and decided to leave the room. Not wanting any part of this siblings fighting.

"Well this a first, didn't think you could get this angry." said Morro crossing his arms. "But then again, you are older now."

Nalia growled as she got up from her chair and took a step towards him. "Keep pushing and you won't like it when you see me infuriated."

Morro raised an eyebrow at her. "Looks like you have changed a bit, though you are still a crybaby."

"Why did you really bring me with you? And give me a bullshit lie. I'm not a kid anymore." Nalia had to fight back the urge to hit him right then and there.

"I wasn't lying when I said that I didn't want us to fight. You're my sister, and I thought that if you joined me. You wouldn't have to worry about fighting family." Morro explained to her.

Nalia narrowed her eyes at her and slammed a foot down on the mango on the floor. Crushing it with ease along with the floorboard. "And you think fucking kidnapping me is gonna help?!"

"It wasn't kidnapping, I gave you an offer and you took it." said Morro but did take a step back.

"An offer where you would kill Lloyd if I didn't comply! You were manipulating me, not giving me much of a choice!" shouted Nalia angrily at him.

"And he broke your heart, you think I'm just gonna ignore that?" Morro narrowing his eyes at her.

"You don't get a say in what happens in my personal life, let alone my love life!" shouted Nalia at him.

Morro rolled his eyes with a fake chuckle. "Love life? Do you even know what love is?"

Nalia growled angrily at him, a faded silhouette of a golden dragon stood in her place giving off an eerie fury. "Clearly more than you do."

"I think you need to clam down a little, how about singing a song? You do love that. Maybe then when you've cleared your head you can see that I'm only looking out for you." Morro told her, trying to not make her even more angry.

Nalia almost felt more offended by this suggestion, and Sensei Wu had forbad her from using her singing to heal as much. But Morro didn't know that, and she needed to heal her injuries.

"Sorry Sensei, but I have to get better so I can fight and take down Morro." Nalia thought to herself. "A song? Fine, I'll give you a fucking song."

(The song she is singing.)

"Yeah, you've got it all

But you've got it all wrong

No, you don't know

You're a poor unfortunate soul

Oh I know

You make it seem that you feel whole

So they don't know

You're a poor unfortunate soul.~"

Nalia began poking him in the chest, making sure each of the words was drilled into him.

"Hey, cut that out." said Morro getting irritated and slapped away her hand.

"Yeah you put on a faith facade

Think you're holy when you're not

I hate to break it to you baby

But you're simply lost

You can right all the wrongs just to feel you belong

But simply calling out sins don't bring you closer to God

You're just a ghost at most

A set of empty bones

Searching for anything and everything to make you feel whole

When it gets cold, oh oh oh.~"

The room slowly began changing to look more like a galaxy with Nalia only glowing more brightly from her powers showing.

Morro only grew annoyed by her words and tried placing a hand over her mouth, but quickly pulled away when she tried to bite it. "Hey! I thought you didn't bite people you cared about."

Nalia gave a growl and began walking around him, in a threatening manner like a dragon waiting to pounce on its prey.

"You don't know

No, you don't know

Oh you're all alone You poor unfortunate soul

You can't control where your body lets you go

Oh you're all alone

You poor unfortunate soul!

And you say that I've got it all wrong

'Cause you just know I'm a poor unfortunate soul

But there's no way that there's weight in the words that you preach

When you're claiming your faith and you contradict your speech

So I sit here and listen to your tongue-in-cheek

I know that when you sit and pray you're only praying for keeps

Cause you're a ghost at most

A set of empty bones

Searching for anything and everything to make you feel whole

When it gets cold, oh oh oh.~"

Morro started feeling a little nervous by the eerie fury slowly coming from Nalia as a shooting star passed his face by just a inch. "Nalia, I understand that you are upset. But you aren't a person who would hurt someone, right?"

However, that didn't seem to be the case as Nalia sent more shooting stars at him, causing Morro to draw his sword and began countering each star coming his way.

"You don't know

No, you don't know

Oh you're all alone

You poor unfortunate soul

You can't control where your body lets you go

Oh you're all alone

You poor unfortunate soul!

You're shallow and empty and filled with regret

I think that chest must be heavy from that cross on your neck

You only wear 'cause you're wary of what comes next after your death

Don't think I didn't notice

Don't think I didn't notice.~"

Nalia slowly began walking towards him, as a few symbols on her body became dust.

Morro at least this time had his guard up, his sword raised and ready.

Nalia slowly seemed to be growing bigger in size, white scales appearing on her face like a face mark across her eyes.

"Don't think I didn't know you're just a po-oh-oh-oh

Poor unfortunate so-o-o-oul

Poor unfortunate so-o-o-oul

Poor unfortunate so-o-o-oul

Poor unfortunate

And you've got it all

(poor unfortunate so-o-o-oul)

You've got it all wrong

(poor unfortunate so-o-o-oul)

No, you'll never know, never know, never know

(poor unfortunate so-o-o-oul)

You're a poor unfortunate soul

Don't think I didn't notice.~"

Morro took a step back as she was growing bigger and her head was already reaching the ceiling. "L-Lia—"

Before he could say another word, Nalia smashed a fist into the floor, breaking it apart with ease while she gave him an eerie glare. Though the surrounding space wasn't looking like a galaxy anymore.

"What's happening?!" Soul Archer and Bansha returned to the room, and both were surprised by the appearance of Nalia.

Nalia was burning with rage, but was able to restrain it and seemingly calm down. Trying to think more clearly and work out a better plan, she was sure the others would come and stop Morro.

So with a heavy sigh, Nalia returned to normal size but she was still very angry. "You don't get to call me that, not anymore."

Nalia went and grabbed a random blanket and laid it on the floor before laying herself on it.

The three gave her a puzzled look as they all put away their weapons.

"Uh, what just happened?" Bansha asked.

"I said it would be a bad idea to bring her with us." said Soul Archer, narrowing his eyes at her.

"Doesn't matter, as long as Nalia doesn't resist nothing will go wrong." said Morro but did find it a little eerie at her sudden change. He knew she could easily change her mood from upset to happy in a moment, but this felt a little off.

Nalia closed her eyes, trying to get some rest. She trusted her friends and while she probably could easily escape. Nalia had gotten the idea that she could probably do something on her end, so decided for the time being, that she would be complacent.
