His long black hair drifts within the wind as he stares up at me, red eyes refusing to leave me.
"Why don't you come down and talk with me?" The King speaks with a serious tone.
I look back at the girls before looking back at the king.
So he was expecting us to show up like this from the beginning? Or did word really travel that fast about what happened with the Lord we killed.
I don't really have much of an explanation to help explain how he knows anything.
"Guess we don't have much of a choice but to go down," Velia says while keeping one hand on the hilt of her sword.
"Just be ready to fight the moment something seems off," I advise before heading down the wall.
It doesnt take long to scale down the wall towards the guards, but I can feel all of them watching me closely. Luckily they move out of the way as I make my way towards the king with the girls.
Eliza is still close to me but I did sit her down before making my way forward.
