If the entire universe now knew about the key connection between the Astral Express and the recently risen miHoYo Interstellar Inc., then the Legion's harassment of the train could only have one objective.
In other words, they had ill intentions toward miHoYo Planet!
Although he didn't know how they had obtained the train's location, it wasn't a particularly difficult task. Even the Annihilation Gang could track people down; as a force directly under the command of Destruction, how could the Legion not have its own intelligence network?
Because of this, Wende's first subconscious thought was of Phantylia, who was still inside Tingyun's body. But he quickly dismissed this idea himself.
He could directly sense that the current Phantylia had not a single trace of Destruction's aura on her. There was also no reason for her to risk her own destruction by going back to her former employer.
Most importantly, he hadn't noticed anything unusual about Phantylia recently. If there was a real problem, the chaos power within Tingyun would not have hidden it from him.
So… just why had the Legion's gaze been drawn to the fledgling miHoYo Planet?
Wende was deeply puzzled, but for now, it was best to focus on the immediate situation. If he wasn't mistaken, the arrival of the Legion was usually accompanied by the appearance of a certain disaster…
A Stellaron…
Wende wordlessly raised his head, his eyes continuously scanning the nearby star systems, but he found no trace of that particular star.
Could it be that for some other reason, the Legion had abandoned their strategy of advancing with Stellarons?
After a moment of thought, Wende ultimately chose to notify all the employees who had officially signed contracts on miHoYo Planet and convened a meeting in the conference room regarding the Antimatter Legion.
In addition, Jing Yuan and Topaz were also given special permission to participate.
Topaz was the dispatched representative of the Interastral Peace Corporation. As for Jing Yuan, it went without saying. As the General of the Xianzhou Luofu, he represented the alliance between the Xianzhou and the Astral Express. No one was more qualified than him to attend this meeting.
The meeting primarily discussed matters concerning Stellarons and the Legion.
For miHoYo Planet, this was the most likely crisis to come. Although there were many uncertain factors, holding this meeting was still very necessary.
While Wende could directly toss a Stellaron into an empty corner of space the moment it appeared, or even try to use his chaos power to disintegrate it into the universe's most basic matter, he certainly wouldn't do so rashly, considering the unnecessary attention it might attract.
Unless it was a critical moment, he had no desire to experience a 1v1 man-to-man showdown with Nanook. He did not want to trigger a war between Aeons; that would inevitably lead to widespread death and destruction.
Just how powerful an Aeon was could only be judged by another Aeon. And the Aeon Wende understood the most so far was probably the Dragon within him.
Oh, and himself… or perhaps… the former Taichi.
In short, after much discussion, Wende came to a conclusion.
The first priority was to get miHoYo Planet's defense systems in order. In terms of weaponry, with the support of the Corporation and the Xianzhou Alliance, there were no issues. There were also the various tactical mechs from the Honkai world. Wende could analyze their construction principles and then pinch out some plus-sized versions to use as automatons. He just wasn't sure how effective mechs designed to fight the Honkai would be against Voidrangers.
So, the only problem now was that miHoYo Planet was severely lacking in manpower!
Wende had created miHoYo Planet to be the same size as Earth. Yet, on this entire planet, even if you counted every single person, there were still less than ten thousand…
For a planet, this number was pitifully small.
---o---
"The Express is now traveling on the star rail. We just need to connect to the next rail once, and in about half an hour, we should arrive near miHoYo Planet."
Inside the observation car, Himeko spoke to the group assembled via hologram.
They were holding an Express meeting, which all crew members were required to attend in person. Even Welt, who was still in the Honkai world, had taken the time to join.
"Those bad guys from the Legion aren't chasing you along the star rail, are they? You have to be careful, Big Sis Himeko!"
March 7th said to Himeko with great worry. None of the main crew were on the train right now. If they ran into any danger…
"Mm, don't worry. Kiana and the others are very strong. They repelled that small Legion force with ease."
Himeko smiled and nodded towards Kiana and the others at her side.
"Besides, can't you guys teleport back at any time? Most importantly, we have Wende. If it weren't for Wende's long-range assistance this time, those three Doomsday Beasts alone would have wasted a lot of the Express's time."
Thinking of this, Himeko sighed with emotion once again.
"By the way, would you mind telling me what you all decided on miHoYo Planet?"
"We have already formulated the defense plans that will be implemented on miHoYo Planet. They can be officially initiated once the Express returns."
Dan Heng replied to Himeko and sent her a copy of the detailed meeting minutes.
"The Corporation has offered to provide a large amount of supplies and weapon systems as aid, all free of charge with no extra cost."
"But free things are always the most expensive," Himeko replied softly.
"Exactly. So we negotiated with the Corporation's representative and, in the end, did not accept the supplies for free. Instead, we are acquiring them for half the price. A detailed list of the items is in the meeting report."
Dan Heng added.
"I'm a bit tied up in the Honkai world right now. It might be a while before I can return," Welt said, pushing up his glasses. The situation in the Honkai world was a bit special at the moment, and if not handled promptly, it could lead to trouble.
"Mm, Wende and I have things handled here. You can rest assured."
Himeko nodded to Welt and said softly.
For now, they had only been targeted by the Legion. The problem wasn't exceptionally severe yet. Unless a Lord Ravager personally led a fleet to attack this star system… If that were to happen… a new universal war might just unfold in this century…
To this day, none of them knew why the Astral Express had been targeted. I'm afraid only the Legion themselves knew the answer.
