Gilbert went up to Cherry's apartment again to ring the doorbell, and just like before, he heard no movement.
Worried about Cherry, especially since he remembered his secretary saying that she had left the company earlier crying, Gilbert knocked on the door with such force that it almost broke.
Gilbert's heart pounded faster because of the things that were going through his mind. He couldn't rest during those hours and he felt depressed because of the excessive worry.
'Damn it!'
Since no matter how much Gilbert knocked and rang the doorbell, no one answered, he kicked the door's code lock hard. Once, twice, and the third time he kicked harder so that the lock was completely broken. With his last kick, he heard a "beep", a sign that it had opened.
Gilbert hurriedly entered the house and went straight to the bedroom, he violently opened the door and there, he saw the woman lying on the bed covered with a thick comforter.
'She didn't hear the loud bang?'
