Fenris's POV,
When I woke up, Axel wasn't in bed.
My eyes opened fully almost instantly, confusion hitting before awareness completely settled in. The warmth that had been beside me last night was gone, leaving the sheets cold enough to make my chest tighten unexpectedly.
I frowned as I pushed myself up, running a hand through my still messy hair while glancing around the room.
My clothes were nowhere to be seen on the floor where they had probably ended up the night before.
I grabbed the sheets and wrapped them loosely around my waist before heading toward the living room.
I stopped at the doorway the moment I saw both of them sitting there, Axel on one couch and Jeremy on the opposite one.
The conversation between them seemed to pause instantly as they both turned toward me at the same time, probably sensing my presence because I hadn't made a single sound while walking in.
