Chapter 51 - CHAPTER 51: HOW I BECAME THE DEMON KING PART 16

A few more months had flown by in a blur of happiness, and the wait was finally over. The papers were signed, the ink dry, and Aria was officially a Montfort. She was their daughter, and they were her parents.

Aria couldn't help but feel a thrill of excitement as she stood in front of the mirror, smoothing out her dress. Lady Isabelle, her mother, had helped her pick it out - a beautiful, shimmering gade that made her feel like a princess.

"Ready, dear?" Lady Isabelle asked, smiling at her in the mirror.

Aria nodded, her heart racing. She took a deep breath, practicing the words she'd been saying to herself for weeks. "Mother, Father, I'm ready."

Duke Éric, her father, beamed with pride. "You look beautiful, Aria. Shall we go down?"

The grand banquet hall was filled with laughter and music, the scent of roasting meats and fresh flowers wafting through the air. Aria's eyes widened as she took it all in. The whole village was there, smiling and congratulating them.

As they entered, a hush fell over the crowd, and then erupted into applause. Aria blushed, feeling a bit overwhelmed, but her parents' hands on her shoulders kept her grounded.

The night was a whirlwind of music and dancing, laughter and tears. Aria danced with the villagers, with her parents, and even managed a few steps with the grinning Duke himself.

As the night drew to a close, Aria stood on the balcony, looking out over the moonlit gardens. Her parents joined her, wrapping their arms around her.

"We're so proud of you, Aria," her mother whispered, her voice trembling.

Aria smiled, feeling a sense of belonging she'd never known before. "I'm proud to be a Montfort," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Her father's voice was low and warm. "You are ours, Aria. Forever and always."

The three of them stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, the night air filled with love and joy.

As the years flew by, Aria's passion for magic only grew stronger. She joined the prestigious Wysteria Academy for Wizardry, where her innate affinity for nature magic quickly set her apart. Her professors were astounded by her talent, and she soon became one of the top wizards of her generation.

Decades passed, and Aria's reputation as a wizard and a Montfort earned her many admirers. She met her future husband, Lord Julian, a noble from the capital, at a royal ball. Their love was instant, and they married in a beautiful ceremony surrounded by friends, family, and fellow wizards.

Aria and Julian had two children, both of whom inherited their mother's magical gifts. As they grew up and started families of their own, Aria watched with pride as the next generation of Montforts made their mark on the world.

Years turned into decades, and Aria's legend grew. She became known as one of the greatest wizards of her time, her name etched in the annals of history. She and Julian retired to a quiet life in the countryside, surrounded by nature and the love of their family.

Now, at the age of 105,

As Aria laid on her death bed, time froze, and a portal burst open. Fi-Six stepped through, his eyes locked onto Aria's. Her memories came flooding back, and she gazed up at him, a mix of emotions in her eyes.

"Finn... Finn, is that really you?" she whispered, her voice trembling.

Fi-Six nodded, his expression somber. "Yes, Aria. It's me. However, my name is no longer Finn. It is Fi-Six, Prince of the demon realm."

Aria's eyes filled with understanding, and she reached out to him. "Finn, listen to me. I don't know if you knew, but... when the dwarves attacked the elven nations... it was the demons who were helping"

Fi-Six's eyes dropped, and he nodded, his jaw clitching in anger. "I knew it. I knew Grandmother Lyra had something to do with this. Aria I am so sorry, to this is all because of me I was to weak back then. I am sorry ."

Aria's expression was gentle. "It's not your fault, Finn. You couldn't have known."

Fi-Six's eyes looked up at hers, filled with regret. "I should have been stronger, Aria. I should have protected you."

Aria smiled weakly. "You were just a boy, Finn. You couldn't have done anything. But I know you'll make it right now. You'll avenge the Elvin race, won't you?"

Fi-Six's expression turned cold, determined. "I will, Aria. I promise you that. I will avenge the Elvin race and make sure those responsible pay."

Aria's face lit up with a smile. "I see you're no longer that snot-nose little boy from when we were younger."

Fi-Six chuckled, and Aria laughed, the sound weak but full of joy. They shared a moment of levity, reminiscing about old times.

But as the moment passed, Fi-Six's expression turned serious. "It's time for me to go, Aria."

Aria nodded, her eyes shining with tears. Fi-Six leaned forward, kissed her forehead, and whispered, "I'll always be watching over you, Aria. And I'll always protect your descendants."

As he pulled back, Aria smiled, her eyes closing. Fi-Six smiled back, and with one last look, he vanished into the portal, leaving Aria to slip away in peace.

Fi-Six returned to the demon realm, his mind racing with a plan. He made his way to the demon treasury, a heavily guarded vault deep beneath the castle. He navigated the traps and guards, his eyes scanning the treasures laid out before him.

Finally, he spotted it: the Ring of Time, a powerful artifact rumored to grant the ability to traverse the ages. Fi-Six's eyes gleamed as he claimed the ring, feeling its power coursing through him.

With the Ring of Time in hand, Fi-Six focused his energy and vanished, reappearing in the past, on the day Aria was turned into a human. He merged with his younger self, combining their strengths and knowledge.

he remembered there's a lot of stuff that he had to take care of.

Such as he needed to return to the human world to save his parents and siblings.

Because they were about to be executed, and that was the first on his agenda.

But before he do that he had to make sure they would be safe in the demon realm.

So he use the five days he had to start gathering his allies.

After he gathered enough allies that he would need he decided to hold a banquet and invite all the nobles of the demon realm into one place.

As they all arrived they thought that they were being awarded for something.

Are that they were being praised, especially the four that played a roll in the extinction of the elves and a dwarfs.

However what they didn't know is that this would be their last day of life.

As his plan was coming together one of his henchmen came to him and knelt down.

"My Lord Fi-Six. All of the nobles have been gathered in the grand dining hall. What are your orders next?"

Fi-Six turned to the henchman and said, "Are you sure all of them are in there? Even the highest nobles to the lowest ones, are you sure all of them are there?" He asked, narrowing his eyes.

The henchman nodded and confirmed, "Yes, my Lord, all of them are in there. I made sure all eighteen of the high ranking nobles and all twenty of the low ranking nobles are in there."

"Good. Make sure to seal off all the doors and every exit. Then tell the assassins to strike. Leave none of them alive and after they're all dead burn the place to the ground," he spoke with cold fury that sent shivers down the henchman's spine.

"Yes, my Lord, as you command," the henchman said, then he disappeared.

As all the doors were locked and sealed and silently a barrier was placed around the building to make sure no one would be able to escape. An announcer got up top of the stage and spoke,

"Ladies and gentlemen, the prince has prepared a wonderful surprise for everyone, and trust me when I say it's wonderful... it is to die for."

The nobles began believing that they were getting something special.

The announcer then said, "You may begin," and the torches ignited, flames spreading rapidly.

The sound of screams filled the air as the assassins struck, showing no mercy, slicing through every noble that came in their path.

Some of them were foolish enough to fight back, however they didn't last long because there were more assassins than the nobles.

As the last noble was about to fall, he spoke defiantly, "You won't get away with this... the queen... the queen will avenge us!"

The announcer started laughing,

"The queen? Oh, please... the queen doesn't care about any of you. And besides, it was the prince who gave this order, and the queen adores him. So, there's nothing and no one that will avenge any of you... now... just die," he said as he flicked a knife towards the man's head.

The noble's body hit the ground with a thud, and the assassins began to move in, extinguishing any remaining life there were some of them that were foolish enough to pretend they were dead but that didn't work they still were killed in the end.

The announcer watched, a cold smile spreading across his face, as the carnage was swiftly and efficiently cleaned up.

Fi-Six watched the carnage happen from a distance. A cold smile playing upon his face. Just then, the henchman returned to his side and knelt down.

"My Lord, we have successfully killed all of the nobles of the demon realm. All that remains of them are their children. What would you have us do with them?" he asks cautiously.

Fi-Six said coldly, "Have the ones who would join us submit. But for those who would attempt to flee or to warn my grandmother... kill them without mercy. Let them serve as a message. If you are not with us, then you are against us."

The henchman nodded, then vanished into the shadows again.

leaving Fi-Six to bask in the silence of his triumph.

The sound of flames crackling and the scent of smoke filled the air, a grim reminder of the fate that had befallen the nobles of the demon realm.
