When the creation, known the existence of the powers they poses and how they can use these powers by Elder, and with the knowledge provided by Elder and his twelve disciples, the creation itself had created many branches from only three of them and they are LIGHT, SPEED, AND TIME.
For these three powers are common among the life in the multiverse and the history tells us that, there also exist many different branches in the remaining powers too, but that is only for DARK MATTER AND DARK ENERGY, but the history also depicts that, these branches of methods originated from the power DARK MATTER AND DARK ENERGY are cursed and no one can learn a single form, from the many different form there exist in old times.
In generally, the idiom "in old days" is only limited to use inside a planet, but when the topic comes to space, the idiom changes "in old time", because, when dealing with space, you should always consider the time and one historian of space, who is considered the man who travelled the far depths of space, once said "be aware of your own time, not your surroundings, when travelling in space" and till this day no one really understood what he meant by that.
And one of the method in the branch of TIME power is TIME VISION, this method allows it's users to see things in front of their eyes slow and fast at their will, and when Maria, who is a book worm, actually read about this new method of her power in the school's vast library, had activated it when, Michael's movements on the stage were strange.
When he had landed his first attack on Nate, a very powerful attack, with a sword that released heat wave slash with one thousand degrees of hotness in it, but it didn't proved effective on Nate, and to be frank, the attack didn't even reached Nate, it had collided with something in between Nate and his attack and then he exclaimed something like "speed created frictions and frictions creates heat" and then his right hand is now moving at an insane speed that catching what his hand is doing, seemed impossible for the student body.
And to really know what exactly Michael is doing, Maria activated the Time vision and let out a horrible scream, and Tom, who is immersed completely on the match and since he is sitting near her, heard her scream of terror and shifted his head from the battle stage to her with confused and annoyed expression for his disturbance she caused and he asked "what?" and Maria still in fear pointed her index finger of her right hand towards Michael and clapped her left hand to her mouth, and Tom who followed her hand who exactly what he is seeing before Maria scream of terror and then he asked again "what are showing me?" and now she had came to her senses and understood that he can't see what she is seeing with her time vision, and she retracted her hand to it's normal position and said "look at his right hand" said she, and Tom looked at Michael's hand and said "i know, i have been watching that, his hand is doing something while moving at an incredible speed, and i don't understand what he is doing?" and to that question Maria is about to answer, but Michael had completed what he was doing for past few minutes, and suddenly everyone are feeling some dryness in their throats and sweats is dropping from their foreheads like someone is pouring water above their heads, and very shy Tricia took a sip of water from her water bottle that was handed to her at the entrance and Michael bellowed and said "one million degrees, two eyes of the sun" and he lunged in to air by kicking the ground very hard, there appeared cracks from where he jumped in to air, and the cracks showed the jump power of Michael and the crowd was awed at his leg strength and Michael in air, he is now holding his sword with his two hands and released the heat slash his sword is containing, and then projectile force of his hot slash when met with the oxygen in the atmosphere, when the hot slash that is containing one million degrees of heat, the oxygen had made the hotness of the slash more and very hot, the colosseum is now burning, and the slash when met with the oxygen had released hot clouds in to air, and the attack reached the same spot as before, Nate's head, the slash with the hot clouds surrounding Nate, and a huge, Michael landed on the stage, and the air that the attack had released when it is travelling in Nate's direction, now it is clearing, everyone are watching with gripping their hearts and professor Mary is very concerned about Nate, and the air is almost cleared and Michael feeling confident that his attack worked this time, he is lowering his sword and about to transform it into it's original shape, which was a gun, and now the air was completely evaporated around Nate, and then a voice came out and said "what are lowering your sword for?", and that was Nate, standing exactly how he was at the start of the match and from the first attack and now, for Michael's second attack.
"what in the world is happening?", no student in sitting now, everyone are shouting with shock and amazement, some one near Nate's friends said "what hell is Nate guy even doing to survive that attack?" and "someone tell me what actually is that first year's power?" and the crowd was not settling now, everyone are shouting so loud and this was really fun to everyone and more to the first years, because certainly, the second year Michael was the who is looking like a fool and Michael on the stage, clearly he is now out of words so say and he looking like.... he is looking like his entire purpose of living is waste now.
"what the hell....." shouted Michael, his voice was now filled with more anger, revenge, doubtfulness towards himself, feeling powerless and most of all, what would Steve Rogers would think of him, he is staring at Nate with death in his eyes, in his mind "oh, i have never wished this much for someone's death, and i will clearly take you life today, i will never again fall to ground by you, my father will clean up the thing after i am done with you, you low life" is what Michael is thinking right now, and Nate with no expression on his face, now staring straight in to Michael's eyes, and Michael who caught that, he is also staring at Nate, but now inside Michael's mind all he could think of and want to shout is "don't you dare laugh at me" and these lines, his eyes are clearly conveying this to Nate, but Nate..., he laughed.
The entire colosseum was now a complete giant source of noise in the school, the entire school staff who is not present at the colosseum are wondering what on earth is happening in the colosseum and professor Mary, heaved a slight sigh of relief, and Michael, now is barking at Nate, "you pest, you low life, how dare you laugh on me, do you know i am...." and with that he lunged in to air once again and now he barked in the air with holding his sword with his two hands "one hundread million degrees, birth of a neutron star" and he is about to release the slash he barked loudly "impedimenta" and the slash was released from the blade and it travelled across Nate's direction and it looked like it landed on Nate, and he reached the ground, clearly to everyone that, now Michael is very exhausted and he breathing very heavy and his breathing was ragged, he inverted his sword with it's tip of blade now touching the ground and he is leaning on it now, and he is praying that, this attack should work, and the air cleared out and the attack didn't work.
And let there be shouts of cry and amazement and everyone are laughing at Michael, not one of his attacks had worked on the first year and clearly everyone thought that first years have no whatsoever any combat experience and yet, not a single one of his attacks reached the first year, and Michael is looking at the crowd of students, who are looking at him with mockery in their faces and, finally the toll of using his SPEED power in large amounts had finally took up on him, Michael let out a scream of pain with clutching his right to his heart, and when professor Mary, who caught, is ready to help him, but Michael shouted, not to come and help him, the crowd went silent on the fall of Michael who is now on ground on his hands and knees and he clearly is worn out and the colosseum is very silent, only Michael ragged breathing can be heard inside the colosseum and everyone thought, that this is the end of the match, but when everyone are thinking that, Nate who is idle, since of start of the start had took his first step.
