The boys were taken to the hospital wing by the supporting staff, and one by one, every student in the colosseum were started to take their leave, Thomas, Maria, and very shy Tricia, they decided to visit Nate, now at the hospital wing and they are going in that direction by following the supporting staff, but they came to a halt by Professor Mary coming in between their way and she said "it is not the time to visit you friend.." said she and she placed her right palm on Tricia's head and patted it and said "it is alright, Nate is not the one who is injured very badly, well..." she paused and gave a look to them which clearly says 'you know what happened', so she said "you can go to bed now, and visit Nate, tomorrow".
The trio didn't argued very much and now they are on their way to their dorms, and Mary, turned around to take look at the stage and the wreck that these students had caused, in her deep heart she is still pondering this question, "why the headmaster did not intervene when things are going out of hand?" and she thought, the headmaster will answer this in coming time.
The next day, the school declared holiday for the rest of the day and when students heard about it, they exclaimed with joy and every one made plans to enjoy their holiday, the trio went to the hospital wing to check on Nate, but Percy did not allowed them to enter the wing, because the doctor ordered not to let anyone enter the wing, they trio was sad, because, they could not visit their friend.
It was bright afternoon, the sun is blazing very hot today, and all the teaching staff got the call from the headmaster to visit his office, and every teaching staff had made their way to headmaster's office and the first to reach the office was Mary and she knocked on the wooden brown door and heard a voice from inside said "come in" and she entered and when she was about to speak, the headmaster said "please wait for the other staff to arrive, professor" and she did not dare to speak again and she sat on a chair that was arranged in front of the headmaster's big wooden desk and upon the desk, there are there envelope's in different colors lay un-opened and she wanted to ask about them, but she did not.
Slowly, every staff member arrived at the headmaster's office and they knocked before entering the room, and after a few minutes of Mary's arrival, all other staff had made their way to the seats in the room and when one of the professor had indicated that every staff member is present, then headmaster who is staring outside from a side window, he turned to face them and walked to his wooden chair and sat on it, he rested his both hands on the arm rests of the chair and he lifted them up to his face and joined his fingers and gave a vibe that he is ready to speak.
When the staff understood that the headmaster was ready to speak, before Mary, one of the staff member asked "what is the deal of yesterday, headmaster?" and his tone was not one of the tone that usually we use to speak with a headmaster, the headmaster did not cared about his tone but he simply looked at him for few seconds and he moved his eyes in all directions to get a good look on all the staff's faces and he noted that one thing is common, everyone want answers, why did the headmaster had let the things to go too far?, why did he not stopped the first year when he is going out of the line?.
The headmaster is just looking at the faces of the professors and listening their questions intently with all his attentiveness, and when all the professor are satisfied with asking all their questions, now the room fell silent just like how it used to be when the professor didn't arrived before the call, and headmaster leaved a huge sigh and got up from his big wooden chair and went to the near window, the sunlight is getting intense, this the effect of the sun finally setting for the day, the headmaster tucked his hands in his trouser pockets and still looking out side of the window he asked "you all want to know..." he began to speak, and every member of the teaching staff had started to listen intently, "why i let the things to escalate too far in yesterday's duel, is that right?", no one now seemed to answer the headmaster's question let alone a simple nod, but headmaster is facing opposite of them so he could see their nods, but he deduced that is case by the long silence the reigned the office after his question.
"there are three reason.." headmaster started to speak again by confirming that, the professors need answers, "for letting the things to escalate like that..." and when they heard him say 'three reasons' they thought of many things by themselves but none seemed to get their assumptions to their heart, they are not satisfied with the justified explanations they had brought up to their mind when they heard there are three reasons, "first, Evidence, second, Punishment, and third Acknowledgement, these are the three reasons that i am talking about" when the staff heard it, no one commented on headmaster's reason's, because they did not understood them.
"i see.." headmaster began to speak, still looking outside from the window, sunlight is pouring on to his face that now the time is for it's desk, "no one understood these three right?" and he turned to face them and seen faces that are clearly dumbfounded.
Headmaster took his seat and sat with his both arms resting on the chair's side handle's and lifted them up and crossed his fingers and he began to talk, "a while ago, when, i am in my office and doing some paper work concerning the space government's new cadet joining papers, i got a message from our doctor, while doing my work i took the message and the contents made me stop my work and make my way to the hospital" when he said that, one of the staff member asked "what is that message that had made you to go to the hospital wing, headmaster?", headmaster had closed his eyes and he began rubbing them slightly with fingers by giving the vibe that the message is something important.
"the message is that, one of the students who came to the wing was injured by a dark mark, still in it's basic form" said the headmaster and when the staff heard the word dark mark, they exchanged glances with each other and Mary, who completely knew who is capable of doing this and still believed that her answer was wrong, "i, too, was amazed and at the same time, shocked to hear this, so i made my way to the wing and heard everything about this from the doctor, and apparently she too, did not know the caster, but i believe, you, my teaching staff will know the answer, that which power is capable of leaving a dark mark...?" it seemed to the staff that, headmaster just paused on his briefing, but actually he asked them a question, everyone are too immersed in listening the story that they did not paid attention to the question at the end, for some time silence reigned the office but it was broken by Mary answering the question, "darkness".
"correct, the power darkness is the only power, that is capable of leaving such mark and we generally call this mark as SCAR, this scar will absorb the power of those whom it was lain on, and the student who had been lain a scar was Michael Caesar, from the family Caesar, a noble family of our planet and one of thirteen in the club THE DONOR for the space government" no one dared to speak or ask questions about this so the headmaster continued, "when his father Aurelias Caesar, had came to know that his son was admitted to the school's hospital wing, he came rushing to the school and demanded to see his son, even though our doctor firmly rejected the idea, but he is a noble, so he did not listen to the doctor and went to see his son... when he saw that his son was lying on the hospital bed with the 'scar' on his forehead, he was enraged, he did not cared about anything and came dashing to my office and demanded an explanation, i, too, don't know anything at the time, when his father demanded answers, but he made serious allegations towards the school that he is going to close the school and he is going make the lives of all the children in this school suffer the same fate as his son, but i tried to clam that person down but, he is on his heels to know the cause of the dark mark on his son's face, he really did not cared about his son's life but about his face, because a noble face, depicts their family and someone left a scar on the future heir of the family Caesar, so his father was sure to take the matters to his and find the person reasonable for this is" headmaster paused for a second and then he again continued.
"now, the first reason, EVIDENCE, Aurelias, later on that day made a few calls to the club Donor, he was breathing flames when he is talking with them in my office, while giving a look that, the matter is over for me" the staff had seen a small smile of smugness of headmaster face, it seemed like the headmaster is kind of like boasting about what he is saying from now on, "i did not liked how he talked to me, and how he is talking about all other students, he is running his sickening mouth in front of me and saying "i will make find the culprit, who dared to lay his hands on a noble" and "i will make sure headmaster, that when i find the culprit, i am going to kill him in front of all your students" and this is what made me really loose it, "how can a school like this can accept students of filth blood, peasants, low-life scums" and he clearly said that to my face, i, at the same moment loosed it, i decided to make sure that the pig in front of me, who is talking like he is owning this school, i want to make him beg me" the headmaster really not sounded like him at all now when he is revealing all this.
"so i started to collect information regarded what happened to that the second year boy, and i started to follow that boy's camera footage from the office, i noted all his actions, when i completed my research on the boy, i had no pity for what had happened to him" and headmaster clicked a button on wrist band and an orange screen popped in the air which is showing the headmaster's research on Michael, the events that are happening on the screen are as follows: the boy is a noble and he made his way into the school by his family's reputation and not by his results from the entrance exam, he is a bully, he bullied so many under classmen and at the same time upper classmen too, he used his noble family status to boss around, and he used some really bad language towards the staff.
"when seeing this, i was ashamed of myself" said the headmaster, "he is from one noble family and he is doing these many things right under my nose... he is bullying students, and he is mis-behaving with girls, and this made me very angry" and he pressed another button on his wrist band and the screen changed and it is showing how he is bullying the bushy girl Maria, and Mary was seeing this with pity on Maria, she knew her, she is always engaged in academic reasons with professor Mary, "this girl's case was very bad, she was always bullied by him in extreme ways, so i collected and made detailed report on his son's doings and that is one of these files" said the headmaster by pointing at one of the envelopes that are lying on the headmaster's table and he said "that is the first reason EVIDENCE".
