Unlike the expectation that Sukuna had after the preliminaries of the Chunin Exam which was something gone alone the lines of wasting away his days in his bed or going bounty hunting for fun, he found himself at the hospital.
Looking over three patients was no easy job, especially when one of them happened to have been hit with a stray bullet right in the head.
Let's take this from the beginning though; he had to leave the preliminaries after his match was over to escort Kimimaro to the hospital.
He missed all the later matches, mainly the one which he was quite interested in, Kiyomi's fight. Since he had taught the girl about her technique and Jujutsu for over a month or so, it was understandable that the boy wished to know how she performed.
Needless to say, he had to miss that match. He immediately planned to ask others how it went, until a nurse came barging in, telling him that both Kiyomi Uchiha and her opponent Neji Hyuga were severely injured in their match and required urgent treatment.
'How the hell they got critically injured in a preliminary chunin fight was beyond him. But he was already moving.
He planned to go for Kiyomi; however, the one in critical condition was Neji. So he had to rush to the white-eyed boy first and heal him up.
It didn't go as well as he thought.
The injury, as the nurse described, was a freaking bullet hole right in the head. Perhaps he shouldn't have taught that girl so soon.
Sighing at his fate, Sukuna did his best. RCT and his curse technique reversal healed up the wound, removed the inches-deep bullet, and for good measure he also poured a good chunk of his reverse-cursed energy into Neji's body just in case.
That was the extent of what he could have done. He was the best healer outside Tsunade herself in Konoha, true, but that only applied when it was a flesh wound.
Tsunade was far superior in terms of understanding how the human body and mind works. And if anyone had the answer to why the hell the Hyuga boy wasn't getting up even after everything in his system was healed to tip-top shape, then it would be her
Sukuna had no idea, neither did he have time to contemplate the matter; Kiyomi's condition honestly mattered more to him. Once he had poured his RCT into the patient and closed up all open wounds, the patient was officially Tsunade-ready.
Meaning anything related to blood has to be solved before the patient was send to Tsunade, and she now easily, albeit grumbly, take the case off his hands.
Healing Kiyomi, on the other hand, was far easier. The girl had lost consciousness, yes, but her injuries were much easier to handle.
A simple RCT dose was enough. Part of Sukuna wondered if he left her alone, would she, like Satoru Gojo, learn how to perform the reverse cursed technique on her own?
An intriguing experiment to have, but perhaps not with his own teammate.
By the time he was done, it was already night and he was completely tired. Tsunade had taken the case over from him after he was done healing them.
He healed all of Kimimaro's external injuries, even RCT healed the boy from the inside, but the cause of his illness would linger, RCT can't do anything about that.
Kiyomi just needed a blood infusion and rest; she'll most likely be up in a few days.
Neji, however… Sukuna hated to say this to Hinata and her father, but his condition was critical.
If the boy pulled through, then he'll survive.
As for what would happen if he didn't, Sukuna didn't have to say it separately.
"Damn that old man, if not for him I would have been drinking and gambling by now, not looking after destructive teens," Tsunade complained.
"You're already drinking," Sukuna pointed out the half-finished liquor bottle at her side.
"That's different," she snorted.
"How?"
"Hmph… a brat like you wouldn't know."
Once their shift was over, and finally all the patients were stable, even Neji, as they did what they could. They finally had some time for themselves.
"Are you not going home?" Sukuna asked, ready to depart; it was already late.
"I have no home," Tsunade snorted and drank again.
That was typical of her, but the way she said it felt so lonely. Sukuna looked outside; it was already night.
'Sigh...'
'Meh… what would a few more minutes will cost.' He shrugged.
He came back and sat in front of her in her office.
"What? Forgot something?"
"You have another bottle, mind sharing a bit?"
"Heh? Brat, haven't you heard about the three prohibitions of a shinobi's life?"
"See who's talking." Sukuna gave her a stink eye. Sexy as the old woman hag wass, all types of womanly virtues were lost on her. Drinking in front of a child, her own co-worker no less. Dress in that old man style clothes. Sukuna just rolled his eyes at her.
She was the last person he wished to hear about the three prohibitions of a shinobi's life from.
Tsunade grumbled at that response, annoyed perhaps but still denied, "You're too young."
"Meh… old enough to kill, old enough to drink. You giving it or wish to drink here alone tonight?" Sukuna barked, getting a bit impatient. Not like he was doing it because he wanted to drink.
He never drank, in fact, even now he wasn't planning to; a few sips at best just to keep her company.
Tsunade snorted again, but perhaps that sentence got to her and she poured him some sake, albeit grumbly.
"So, you were saying something about learning my healing technique, right…" Sukuna tasted the alcohol and struggled not to scrunch his face up.
He didn't like how it tasted. He wasn't planning to take another cup.
Tsunade's eyes shone at his question though.
All the misgivings between them had faded by the time Tsunade was here. Unlike what she had first expected, the boy was a lot tamer inside than outside the village.
To the point she wouldn't even imagine him being the same boy who killed the Raikage and even threatened to kill both her and Shizune.
She wasn't over that threat yet though. She didn't trust him, but at least wasn't completely on defence agaisnt him now.
Snorting, she drank more, still very much interested in his healing technique.
Sukuna wasn't going to go into detail, but he'll bite as long as she was not sobbing silently in the hospital.
And thus time passed, painfully slow as he was about to empty out his sake, it eventually happened.
Sukuna felt his mind spinning a bit. Whether he was high or just tired, he couldn't say. Perhaps both.
"Leaving..hic… already?" Tsunade was far too gone to have a stable conversation with. Sukuna thought about helping the old lady back to her house or something, but he didn't have the faintest clue where. So the next best thing he could do was to take out a sleeping bag from his Kamui and lay her down there.
Just as he was doing that, Tsunade, completely out of it by now, grabbed him by the elbow and dragged him along with her, smothering him into her more than generous bosom.
Sukuna got a nice feel of the Slug Sannin's breasts, her body heat, and her utterly toxic breath.
She stank. She hadn't bathed for a while if her smell and recent complaints about overtime were any indication.
Sighing, he somehow got himself out of there, sending one last appreciative glance at her overflowing figure, he left with his mind buzzing about sexy GILFs.
It was late at night by the time he arrived back home. He didn't intend to wake anyone, just quietly opened his room's window and sneaked inside like a thief in his own house.
Yawning, he opened the bedsheet and slid right in without giving a damn about anything else, only to bump into something. Blinking, he squinted his eyes; he usually had complete darkness in his room, so not much was visible.
He slowly roamed his hand around inside the sheet and touched something warm and soft.
"Ah~"
xXx
A/N : Any idea who this was ?
And oh, I planned on taking all three girls seeing the votes for all of them are almost neck on neck. Surprisingly enough, the most vote I got was for Sakura.
Can you believe it.
