The battle rages on.
The first wave of the golems, the earth golems, a weird golems made out of earth that possessed abnormal defense as well as self-restorative ability.
These golems acted like the meat shields meant to open up path for the golems behind them.
However, their path was blocked off.
The adventurers had at first solid problem against the wall of golems that was approaching them, but thanks to the gunpowder barrels, the golem army's march straight up came to a halt, allowing the adventurers to gain some room to breathe.
But unfortunately, the second wave of golems had already left the forest and were heading their way.
"BARRIERS! NOW!" – shouted cat beastwoman, ordering the mages to deploy their barriers as the hail of crossbow bolts began flying out of the forest and towards the camp.
Thanks to the adventurers being ready, they were somewhat able to deal with a majority of the crossbow bolts that came their way.
