After chatting for a while, Luis took his wife out on a date.
She had taken the whole afternoon off, so they had plenty of time. They watched a movie, had steak, and then went shopping in a very down-to-earth manner.
"What's wrong? Still upset?"
As they walked through the mall, Luis noticed his wife's slightly displeased expression and said gently.
Lily pouted and didn't deny it. "Yeah, seeing them all busy and happy over there just annoys me."
Luis said with a chuckle, "Honey, I know you're worried about Mom, but she's not as fragile as you think."
"Even if Mom is unhappy, she won't tell us because she doesn't want us to worry."
Lily still felt uneasy deep down.
Luis patted her head affectionately and said with a smile, "You're worrying over nothing. The biggest shareholders of that cafeteria are you and Mom. My father-in-law and his mistress are working their butts off to make money for you guys."
"I hope Mom can be that open-minded too!!"
Lily sighed.
