Chapter 77 - Chapter 77 – Divine Departure Slashes Akainu! Roger and Ace!!

Totto Land - Whole Cake Island.

The headquarters of Big Mom, Charlotte Linlin. The island was usually filled with the singing and dancing of bizarre homies, creating a deceptively peaceful atmosphere. But today, the sweetness was replaced by a chilling tension.

The Four Emperor Big Mom sat with her core ministers Katakuri, Smoothie, Owen, and Daifuku enjoying a tea party while listening to the live report from Cracker at Marineford.

"Mama, do you really think the Dark King Rayleigh can change the outcome of this war?" Smoothie asked, sipping her juice.

"Rayleigh is a relic of the old era," Katakuri added stoically. "His presence is a shock, but the World Government has already deployed its hidden forces."

"Mamamama! That brat Rayleigh is just a stubborn old fool," Big Mom laughed cruelly. "If he had agreed to be my 20th husband back then, I might have sent Cracker to help him. But now? Let him die!"

Suddenly, Cracker's voice screamed through the Den Den Mushi, his tone bordering on hysteria.

"MAMA! KATAKURI-NII! SOMETHING IMPOSSIBLE IS HAPPENING!"

Blood-curdling screams echoed from the other side. The entire tea party fell into a deathly silence.

"Cracker, speak! Has Fire Fist Ace been executed?" Perospero demanded.

"NO! ROGER! GOL D. ROGER HAS APPEARED!!!"

"WHAT?!"

The silence that followed was absolute. Even Big Mom's laughter died in her throat.

"Cracker, if you're lying, I'll take your soul myself!" Daifuku roared. "Roger has been dead for twenty-two years!"

"I'm not lying! He climbed out of the grave to save his son! He just blocked Admiral Akainu's strike! THE PIRATE KING IS ALIVE!!!"

When the visual feed finally transmitted the image of that familiar, defiant face, the Whole Cake Island garden shook as if hit by an earthquake.

"ROGER... THAT BASTARD IS REALLY BACK!!!" Big Mom's scream shattered the surrounding tea sets.

Marineford — Oris Plaza.

Nearly a hundred thousand soldiers and pirates stood frozen. Time itself seemed to stop.

Gol D. Roger. The King who conquered the Grand Line. The man who started the Great Pirate Era. He stood there, his red coat fluttering in the wind, a living myth returned to the world of the living.

Even the strongest players on the field Whitebeard and Garp couldn't hide their shock. Garp's breath hitched, his mind unable to process the sight of his greatest rival standing before him.

"Roger..." Whitebeard whispered, a faint, nostalgic smile tugging at his lips.

The silence was broken by the bubbling sound of magma. Admiral Akainu, his face twisted in a mask of pure fury and disbelief, refused to accept this reality.

"I don't care if you're a ghost or a fake!" Akainu roared. "Justice will not be stopped by a dead man! MEIGO (DARK DOG)!!!"

A massive, snarling hound of molten magma erupted from Akainu's fist, aimed at vaporizing Roger, Ace, and Luffy in a single strike.

"Oho... a magma brat, I see," Roger chuckled. He reached for the hilt of his blade, his aura exploding outward.

Black lightning crackled around his sword as he unleashed his signature technique a move that combined the pinnacle of all three types of Haki.

"DIVINE DEPARTURE (KAMUSARI)!!!"

A horizontal slash of pure, concentrated Haki tore through the air. It wasn't just a physical strike; it was a conceptual erasure.

BOOM!

The magma hound was instantly vaporized. The shockwave didn't stop there it slammed into Akainu's chest, sending the Admiral flying back hundreds of meters like a ragdoll. The ground beneath them shattered, and the very atmosphere groaned under the weight of Roger's power.

"The Pirate King... he really is back!" The Marines' morale didn't just drop it plummeted into an abyss of terror.

"Roger! You bastard!" Fleet Admiral Sengoku's voice cracked with rage. "How are you here?!"

Roger just grinned. "Sengoku, Garp... it's been a while! I couldn't just stay in the ground while my son was in trouble, could I?"

The Reunion.

Ace stood behind Roger, his face pale, his lips trembling. He had spent his whole life hating this man, hating the blood that flowed in his veins. But seeing Roger's back the back that shielded him from an Admiral Ace felt a surge of emotions he couldn't describe.

"Ace," Roger said softly, his voice full of a father's regret. He reached out to pat Ace's head but hesitated, pulling his hand back. "You've grown... you look just like Rouge."

"I... I never acknowledged you as my father, you bastard!" Ace shouted, tears streaming down his face. But even as he cursed him, he didn't pull away.

Roger's eyes softened. "I know. And I don't blame you. But for today... just let me be your shield."

The Third Party Arrives.

Just as the Marines were regrouping, a dark, swirling storm of shadows erupted from the rear of Marineford.

A group of the most vicious criminals in history stepped out from the darkness, led by a man with a gap-toothed grin.

"Zehahaha! My plan is perfect!" Blackbeard, Marshall D. Teach, laughed as he revealed his new crew the monsters of Impel Down Level 6. Shiliew of the Rain, Vasco Shot, Avalo Pizarro, and Sanjuan Wolf loomed behind him.

"Teach!" Whitebeard's eyes narrowed with murderous intent.

But before the conflict could escalate, the sky darkened. A massive, draconic silhouette soared through the clouds, heading directly for the battlefield.

"MAMA! KATAKURI! LOOK!" Cracker's voice screamed again. "IT'S KAIDO OF THE BEASTS! HE'S HERE!!!"

And from the other direction, a fierce gale began to howl. The Leader of the Revolutionary Army, Monkey D. Dragon, stood on the prow of his ship, looking toward the center of the storm.

"I didn't want to meet my father like this," Dragon whispered, "but I have to go to that battlefield."

The Summit War was over. The War of the Throne had begun.
