I went through the Grimoire and found a potion that could negate the key. I just needed several ingredients. They are all over the world. One of them was an orchid resembling a preying mantis. The next was the spider orchid in Japan. The Pride of Madeira. Exploding seeds of the sandbox tree, a poisonous beach apple. A handful of Himalayan Balsam and a thorny branch of the honey locust tree. Sap from the dragon's blood tree. Lastly Bitter ginger flower. The instructions says to destroy the cauldron right after making the potion since it will become poisonous afterwards. If I use it for any potion or spell after this it will backfire. It has its uses. So I decided to put it in storage with the label special occasions on it.
The Pride of Madeira plant is a 1 to 2 meter high shrub, usually with a candelabra like appearance. The lower leaves are more than five times as long as the upper ones. The surface side of the leaf blade is dark green, the under side is slightly lighter green in color with prominent veins, all parts are protruding dense and soft, relatively long, velvety hairy. The flower grown in clusters in a cone shaped bundle. The tiny flowers open up like tiny stars which is either blueish purple or dark violet. Usually avoided because of its poisonous sap and irritating coat. It thrives on harsh rocky ruins so going near it is discouraged. The next was dragon's tails. I had to ask Granny for some.
I made the potion and used the maps in the attics to track them down. The next thing was finding the key. It was the hardest task but after a day or two I found it. Acquiring it would be difficult. They may have the key but they have no clue how to use it. Since they aren't going anywhere I came back to find a potion to make myself invisible. Granny came with Vespersa and Belladonna. I explained my plan and they didn't like it. They asked for the location so they can reacquire the key. I gave them location and they tried to enter but they were barred. So they gave me the invisibility potion after I promised to return the key. I promised to do so and I was able to walk through the barrier. I reacquired the key and I used the potion to nullify the weapons and all the potions they had.
I came back and bowed as I gave Granny the key. She gave it to Belladonna. I walked to the living room. I took a moment to stare at the rows of skeletelon chandelier as it dripped red wax. I walked past the ghoulish dancefloor. I walked to the backyard and stared hurling. The three queens came and asked me what I did to the potion. I explained how I destroyed their weapons so they have to start from the beginning. They cackled delightfully as I swung an axe. Granny asked if Handi were coming. The others were curious till she explained. They were furious. I picked up a knife and threw it at the bull's-eye. The next was shuriken. I threw two at a time. Afterwards I raised my hand and they were pulled out by an invisible force and rearranged themselves on the table.
Harkness came with a parasol. She told me I will need it since the Morganians cast a spell. They casted the star storm. She murmured, "It sends curse and plague down. The only way to stop is to kill the caster. I have no clue where she is. She disappeared." I asked her to hold the fort till I return home. I walked towards the dead tree portal. I cut my hand and rubbed the bark. The portal opened and I got dressed into the Ninja outfit so I can the flexibility, dexterity and invisibility of the ninja. I grabbed a vial of Ebonybane. The others followed me too. I somehow landed in the underverse. It is my jurisdiction. So I asked to be transported to meet the most recent visitor. The scenery changed to show a campsite. The floor was made of quills jammed packed together all of them pointing upwards. I had to levitate to get to the other side. The woman was washing her hands but the black sludge refused to detach itself.
She saw me and asked me why I was here without her permission. Granny answered, "This is her private land. She is the custodian and guardian. She doesn't need permission to go anywhere in this place." She raised an eyebrow, "You're the guardian? I thought you would be older." I shrugged, "Guardians are the same as kings and queens. We can be of any age" she explained that she is here so she can hide from a spell she cast. She didn't think I would find her so easily. I raised a hand and she was wrapped in vines. She asked me how I was able to do so. Her abilities were drained as she came here. I grinned, "You need to be invited or pay the price." She looked behind me, "They are not invited. How you are not covering them with vines." I didn't have an explanation. I chose to stay silent.
Granny explained, "Because you are a nasty beastie. We are here to help the guardian with her plight so we are not bound to the rules of this realm." She was dragged out of the underverse and thrown into the streets of the Nyx. She had to answer to the realms. The queens from both sides decreed that I burn her. I threw a fireball and she was incinerated. We watched as the spell disappear as she was reduced to ashes. I came home and Harkness kindly explained that things are getting better. I can rest easy now. She asked why the queens were here. They all bowed with respect. Granny stayed while the others left. She was curious how I was going to stop Morgana from escaping. She asked where Morgana was imprisoned.
I explained that I have no clue where she is imprisoned. I only mentioned the iron maiden in the basement because I saw one in my tour of the property. Zelmira explained that it siphones the energy from the person who trapped inside. Once trapped the only way is to destroy the coffin. It is protected by the prisoner's own magic so anyone trying to remove them must be more powerful or she will remain trapped. Granny was curious so I escorted her to the iron maiden. The cast iron coffin was levitating. Ice blue letters of unknown origin decorated it all over. The words circumvent the entire thing. Granny stared at the writing and declared the written was dark elvish. Only a few speak the language. She tapped the casket and it became transparent. I got see Morgana barely conscious.
I realized she was meditating. I explained that she is sending messages to her followers. They can receive the message but she has not clue how to explain her exact location. So she is trying find a way to ping her location so they can retrieve her. Granny focused and agreed with me. She happily placed her hand on the coffin. I watched as Morgana opened her eyes and screamed in agony. She tried to figure out how to counter the spell but she couldn't find a solution. So she went back to meditating. We went upstairs and she ate dinner. I asked if she could stay here for tonight. She was surprised but happy. I showed her the room adjacent to mine. Her room was dark teal with flecks of red like blood splatter. It was as if the walls were bleeding. She approved the aesthetics of the room. I went to mine and changed into a pyjama that looked like it was woven from shadows.
