"What were you talking about?"
Serena Sullivan calmed down and asked Ethan Grant.
Ethan Grant lifted Serena Sullivan from the wheelchair into his arms.
Everything Mr. Sterling had just said, he heard, except for one thing he didn't listen to.
Serena was his own, how could he not hold her while sleeping!
"He took out a copy of my medical record, afraid I'd make you a widow."
Upon hearing Ethan's words, Serena Sullivan blushed.
"Hmm!"
"Anything else?"
"Afraid I might leave you in the future."
Ethan Grant contemplated seriously and said, "It's true he's considering you."
What Mr. Sterling had said wasn't unreasonable. With his current status and looks, finding a young beautiful girl would be a matter of minutes.
"Do you want that?"
Serena Sullivan turned her head to look at Ethan Grant. She had indeed thought about it.
If she hadn't lost the use of her legs, there wouldn't have been any worry.
After losing the use of her legs, one's self-confidence really takes a big hit.
