Chapter 291 - Chapter 291: Thoughts

...

Lucian's flight was booked for the morning.

Tokai Teio woke up very early to help him pack his luggage.

Why didn't they pack last night? Because they went wild until very late.

Lucian rubbed his forehead and crawled out of bed. "Teio, so early."

"I haven't brought Trainer's little underwear in from the balcony yet!"

"It's still early enough, no need to rush." Lucian laughed. The emperor wasn't anxious at all.

Tokai Teio slowly stopped what she was doing. "I know... I just want to do something for Trainer."

"Then should I change the ticket? Move it to the afternoon."

"No, Trainer still has to go to Spe-chan's place, right? If we delay more, the playtime will be postponed again." Tokai Teio continued packing.

"I thought Teio would be very reluctant to let me go." Lucian joked.

"Stupid Trainer, of course I'm reluctant!"

Tokai Teio looked up and pounced on Lucian.

She was magically obsessed with his body, even clearly remembering the shock his bare form gave her visually.

So she hugged him tightly and left kiss marks all over his skin.

"Reluctant, but still won't let me change the ticket?"

"I can't be so selfish as to keep Trainer here. Trainer, thank you for forgiving me. Otherwise, I really wouldn't know how to face you and everyone." Tokai Teio shook her head and left Lucian's embrace. "I'll go get the underwear."

"Want to leave one behind?"

"N-no way!!!" Tokai Teio slipped out the door in a huff.

...

The two arrived at the station half an hour early.

Tokai Teio watched Lucian's figure, finally unable to hold back and ran over to kiss him. "Parting gift."

"Isn't the parting gift supposed to be on the cheek?"

"It's the parting gift between me and Trainer!" Tokai Teio pointed at her little mouth. "Mine... Trainer hasn't given me yet."

Lucian chuckled lightly, held the back of Tokai Teio's head, and kissed her until she was breathless before letting go.

"St-stupid Trainer..." Tokai Teio pinched her skirt hem, turned her head left and right, and said in a low voice.

"I'm stupid, then what is Teio? A little fool who can't leave Trainer?"

"Hmph... hmph! I don't know." Tokai Teio showed a shy yet tsundere expression, then calmly said, "Alright..... go through security."

"Then, see you."

"Mm, see you."

...

Lucian slept a bit on the train and soon arrived at the station in Special Week's hometown.

He had contacted Special Week beforehand, so when he exited the station, he saw her and her foster mother.

"Spe-chan." After greeting Lucian, he greeted the blonde woman. "And Lady Tina."

"Welcome, Trainer Lu." Tina enthusiastically went to take Lucian's luggage. "No need to be so formal, just call me Auntie."

Tina was a straightforward person who spoke directly to those she knew, without much restraint.

Lucian waved his hand in refusal. "No need, no need, I can handle it |myself."

When Special Week participated in the Arima Kinen before, her foster mother Tina had specially attended, so she and Lucian were acquainted.

"Tr-Trainer-san! It's been a while."

It hadn't actually been many days, but seeing Lucian again gave Special Week a faint sense of unfamiliarity.

Perhaps some intimate contact was needed to dispel this feeling.

But Mom was right beside her.... It was a bit difficult. She had clearly told Mom she could come alone.

"Spe-chan woke up very early today and spent a long time choosing clothes." Tina said from the side.

As shown (delete if infringing)

"It's just normal clothes, Mom, don't say any more!" Special Week said loudly in embarrassment.

Lucian's smile lines unfolded, his white teeth faintly visible. "It looks great. I came in a hurry and didn't bring a gift."

"Trainer Lu, no need to be so polite." After Tina finished, her tone shifted. "I've always heard Spe-chan say you cook very well."

The meaning was self-evident, and Lucian understood. "Haha, then let me show off my skills tonight."

Tina also smiled. "Let's go, no need to stand here talking. My car is over there."

...

Special Week's home had a large ranch, quite a distance from town.

Lucian and Special Week sat in the back seat. She introduced the scenery along the way to him, and the sense of unfamiliarity slowly faded.

"This is where Spe-chan used to live." Lucian looked at the vast ranch and sighed.

If there hadn't been such an environment, perhaps Special Week's nature would have been suppressed, and she wouldn't have her current achievements.

"Mm!" Special Week was very grateful to the land that raised her and spoke of it with pride all over her face.

She looked at Lucian, who was listening attentively. "Trainer-san, tomorrow I'll take you around our ranch, okay?"

"Sure, that would be great."

Tina glanced at the rearview mirror and suddenly said, "Spe-chan, how about I take Trainer Lu around instead?"

Lucian: "?"

Special Week suddenly tensed her face and said fiercely, "No way!"

"Huh? No way? Fine, no way then. Why is Spe-chan suddenly so fierce?" Tina's lips curved slightly.

Having raised Special Week for so many years, she understood her well.

Today's Spe-chan was a bit strange.

No, she should say ever since returning from Tracen, she'd been odd—sharing many things about Lucian every day.

Even at meals, she unconsciously compared the poorly made dishes to Lucian's.

"N-no... that's not it, Mom. I just think Mom is tired, so let me take Trainer-san around." Special Week realized she'd lost composure and lowered her voice.

"When Mom was cleaning this morning, why didn't Spe-chan watching TV think Mom was tired?"

"Th-that's because..." Special Week lowered her head, glanced at Lucian embarrassedly, saw his smiling face, and buried her head even lower.

Why is Mom tearing down my stage today... Trainer won't think I'm a lazy horse girl, right?

"Alright, Spe-chan usually helps me with a lot of chores, and waters and fertilizes the crops."

Special Week grabbed the lifeline and nodded quickly. "Yes, yes!"

Tina: "So Spe-chan works very hard too."

"Huh? Actually, it's not that..." Special Week waved her hands.

"Then tomorrow, Spe-chan and I will take Trainer Lu around together."

"No..." Special Week's hand froze mid-air, wanting to say something to refuse but lacking a proper reason.

"If Mom comes along too..." she thought, then cautiously glanced at Lucian. "Then I can't kiss Trainer-san."

But how could she say that to Mom?

Special Week fell into self-entanglement.
