As long as it doesn't affect the Dao Inquiry Sect, many within the sect actually enjoy watching the Gu Family's predicament.
Lin Miao had long suspected his master's unnatural death, but he always lacked relevant clues. What kind of enemy would need to lead his master to such a deadly end?
The people from Carefree Hall had motives to kill his master, but his master was just an average physician. If Huichun Valley's "pill formulas" truly existed with him, why wouldn't he pass them on to Lin Miao and his senior sister?
Dongguo Sun had also mentioned that his master was not interested in alchemy.
If his master truly possessed the pill formulas, Carefree Hall would have had to seize them before resorting to poisoning.
Similarly, that person from the Gu Family had motives. His fiancée regretted her engagement and preferred to marry an ordinary physician, so he couldn't retaliate against Hua Qingye. But killing a physician would be easy.
