After returning to the camp.
Chen Wen picked up the spear and went to search for suitable moss to use as padding, while Hua Yun took the dagger and started cutting the roe deer skin.
As for why they wouldn't use bear skin, it's because bear fur is coarser.
Moreover, bear skin is more expensive!
You don't even need to exchange it with Arseny's group of hunters; after the survival phase ends, bringing it back home is already quite valuable.
Under their coordinated efforts, their efficiency was surprisingly high.
In less than ten minutes, Chen Wen returned to the camp with a thick layer of moss.
Hua Yun also cut the roe deer skin into shapes somewhat similar to shoes.
Chen Wen took the moss and placed the soft side down, adhering it to the inside of the roe deer skin.
He first tried with his hand and felt it was okay.
Then, he had Hua Yun take out a rope, and together they tied the roe deer skin and moss onto the shoes.
