Feet firmly on the ground. She suddenly felt dizzy and fell sideways. She had been suspended near the moon for a long time, gradually getting used to the swaying in the water. Now on solid ground, everything was stable and it felt strange instead.
It was already morning.
She was a few miles from the lake, found a secluded spot, and lit a campfire. Fearing others might pass nearby, she gathered grasses around for concealment. She took off her damp clothes to dry by the fire, removed her boots, and poured out lake water and sweat.
She immediately felt her feet refreshed; the cell was unbearably hot. She had longed to take off her shoes and rest. Now she finally achieved her wish, feeling at ease, her white toes flexing. She waited until her clothes were dry and changed into them.
