Chapter 327 - Chapter 327: Pokémon Species Expansion, Uchiha Madara and Whitebeard Step Into a New World

After some thought, Baixuan abandoned that idea.

His small world was entirely under his control — he had no pressing need for Legendary Pokémon to manage it for him. Rather than spending a huge number of points to purchase a small number of Legendaries, it would be better to buy more Pokémon to enrich this world and liven up a place that, though full of life, lacked vitality.

As for whether to purchase other types of creatures beyond Pokémon — summoning beasts from the Naruto world, dragon-kin from the One Piece world, special mutant creatures from Su Yunqing's high-combat world — though they all possessed high intelligence and even more specialized abilities, they lacked the innate innocence that Pokémon carried in their bones.

Under normal circumstances, no race with highly developed intelligence could possibly maintain kindness and purity, let alone to the degree Pokémon do. The cruelty of nature, the struggle against other species — all of it would grind away those traits.

Pokémon are a race that could only exist in fantasy.

Because in reality, such an innocent race could never be born.

Even if a small number of Pokémon followed the cruelty of nature, as long as you got along with them well, they would become something you'd protect with your life.

Having made his decision, Baixuan purchased a great number of Pokémon from the chat group, then sent them, together with Zixin, to the zones best suited to their habitats.

Psyduck, Slowpoke, and Magikarp stared up with different expressions but identical vacant eyes, watching blankly as Baixuan levitated their bodies into the air — completely without the slightest reaction.

However, several of the Psyduck, once placed into the water, after a brief moment of stupor began to thrash about wildly, as though they had forgotten they were Water-type Pokémon and had forgotten how to swim.

Zixin couldn't help but laugh as she picked them up and set them back on the ground.

Once on solid ground, those that had been thrashing suddenly went still. In their vacant gaze one could even spot a hint of curiosity — they looked at their own bodies, then scratched their heads.

Finally, they turned and leaped headfirst into the water.

Three seconds later —

"Bubbles bubbles bubbles."

Without a doubt, the Psyduck started thrashing again.

"Hahahahaha."

Zixin couldn't help but cover her mouth and laugh.

Indeed, spending time with Pokémon was just too joyful.

Baixuan saw this and smiled too.

"Ral~"

The adorable Ralts affectionately nuzzled against Baixuan's cheek. Baixuan rubbed her head.

"It's been such a long time and you still haven't evolved. Have you been slacking off lately?"

"Ral~"

Ralts swayed Baixuan's arm shyly, as if insisting she absolutely had not been.

She had been working hard at her training too — it was just that her efforts weren't particularly visible.

Baixuan smiled and said nothing more. To him, whether or not the Pokémon evolved didn't matter. He had no intention of making any of them do anything anyway.

But the vast majority of Pokémon yearned for battle, so even without anyone demanding it of them, they trained themselves hard, growing stronger.

The small world had the best environment, the densest spiritual energy, and even its vegetables and fruits were no less potent than low-grade heavenly treasures from the outside world.

As long as one had the will to train, even the least talented Pokémon could grow strong quickly, even evolving into their final forms.

Baixuan was also considering whether to teleport some of the Pokémon who wished to venture outside into parts of Huaxia, letting them form bonds with humans and creating a new Pokémon Trainer system.

After all, the power that could be created when Pokémon formed bonds with humans was immense. Perhaps in this world of spiritual revival, evolutionary forms different from those in the Pokémon world could be created.

But before that, people would first need to accept the concept of Pokémon and understand how they differed from mutant beasts.

**Naruto World.**

Uchiha Madara stood before a massive bronze gate, etched with all manner of strange runes.

Most eye-catching of all were a pair of enormous crimson eyes containing nine tomoe within, and a colossal tree that pierced the heavens and reached the earth.

"Nine-tomeo Sharingan and the Divine Tree!"

"I do hope that you, from the parallel timeline, can bring me some amusement."

Madara's eyes held considerable interest. He simply hoped that the parallel timeline beyond the shuttle gate would offer a timeline entertaining enough to satisfy him.

As for whether that amusement would come from his parallel self, Senju Hashirama, or anyone else in the shinobi world — that remained unclear.

---

**One Piece World.**

"GraHAHAha, my sons — let's set course for another world!"

"This is a brand-new journey that belongs to us alone!"

Whitebeard raised his enormous drinking bowl high and declared in a booming voice.

Below, Ace and Marco raised their bottles to their lips with equal excitement.

They didn't know what a parallel world was — but they knew that in that world, there was another version of themselves, another story.

That alone was enough.

Especially since the versions of themselves in that other world were even stronger than they were.

Fighting alongside the strong — how could they not be excited?

---

Time passed slowly.

The appearance of the gods, the rumors of Emperor Bai — all of it made people pay extraordinary attention to that website.

Many who had obtained Devil Fruits no longer kept their abilities hidden, taking instead to the internet to describe how they had obtained their Devil Fruits and what their powers were.

Devil Fruits were different from Imperial Arms. They had already eaten them — even if someone killed them, they could never obtain the ability. Their experiences acquiring Devil Fruits were all quite strange.

Some had bought fruit, and the fruit had transformed right before their eyes at home. Others had a lychee tree at home, and somehow one lychee had swollen, turned purple, and gained a strange swirl pattern.

Some had found them in wooden crates drifting down a river; others had one fall from the sky and land directly on them.

The experiences varied wildly, but all were equally fascinating.

The one thing they all had in common was how they described the taste of Devil Fruits — disgusting! Nauseating! Makes you want to vomit!

Someone who hated cilantro said Devil Fruits tasted like cilantro — only many times more concentrated.

Someone who hated stinky tofu, durian, or surströmming said Devil Fruits tasted like all those things fused together.

The tastes of Devil Fruits varied, but it was as if the fruit identified each person's most repulsive, disgusting, hard-to-stomach food upon entry and transformed into that flavor.

And then multiplied the intensity.

This made people who had never eaten a Devil Fruit curious about the taste even as they coveted Devil Fruit abilities.

And a question was born.

If it were them — what would a Devil Fruit taste like to them?

If they couldn't handle spicy food, would a Devil Fruit taste like chili peppers?

If they hated sweet tofu pudding, would a Devil Fruit taste like sweet tofu?

If they didn't like mooncakes, would a Devil Fruit taste like mooncakes? Even the most dreaded five-nuts flavor?
