Chapter 336 - Chapter 336: When Loki Meets Shiba Inu Thor, the All-Father Hong Qigong?

Did she believe it?

She certainly did not.

Richest Man: "Well..."

Richest Man: "You should have confidence in human potential."

Richest Man: "Human potential is limitless."

Though Tony himself felt the feat was exaggerated, it wasn't as though there were no examples of ordinary people pushing beyond seemingly impossible limits in critical moments. It was just that what Captain America displayed was on another level entirely.

Shato Shiina: "I would have believed it if he'd stumbled back a few steps at least."

While they were talking, the battle in the Virtual Battle Arena ended just as quickly.

From start to finish—less than three minutes.

One full minute of that was Loki posturing. The remaining two minutes played out roughly like this:

Loki launched an attack on Marquis Vovlin. Loki's attack had no effect. Loki was savagely beaten by Marquis Vovlin.

How was he beaten?

It was a direct recreation of the iconic Hulk tossing Loki around.

Loki was completely dazed from the throwing.

Until the very last second, when Marquis Vovlin snapped his neck.

"A pathetic excuse for a god."

That was Marquis Vovlin's parting words.

As Loki died in the Virtual Battle Arena, both of them were ejected back to reality.

Loki instinctively touched his neck, his expression full of shock and disbelief.

That suffocating, crushing feeling.

Could this chat group actually be real?

But was such a thing even possible?

And those memory copies the group owner uploaded—could they truly show the future of his world?

Was his brother really the main character?

Loki's expression cycled through emotions rapidly. He could no longer maintain the confidence he'd held before.

The Most Ancient Godslayer: "I presume you can now think rationally."

The Most Ancient Godslayer: "You possess no value for us to deceive."

Marquis Vovlin said calmly in the chat group.

Ordinary Group Leader: "That was quick."

Richest Man: "Quick is to be expected."

Richest Man: "@The Most Ancient Godslayer, was the process boring?"

The Most Ancient Godslayer: "No—surprisingly entertaining."

The Most Ancient Godslayer: "When he rushed toward me with that dagger, it did make me pause for a full second."

Richest Man: "???"

Richest Man: "Hahahahaha."

From Marquis Vovlin's words, the image formed in his mind: Loki, the Nine Realms' greatest mage, charging at Marquis Vovlin with a dagger, and Marquis Vovlin frozen for a full second from sheer disbelief.

Even he hadn't expected this mage to actually choose close combat—and with a dagger, of all things!

Loki: "..."

Seeing Marquis Vovlin's words and Tony's mockery, Loki's face darkened. He had been about to probe further in the chat group.

What was wrong with the Grand Master of Illusion Magic using a dagger?!

You'd be lucky if he only threw two snakes at you!

Loki: "This chat group is real?"

Richest Man: "No matter how much you doubt it, it's real."

Richest Man: "The two of us are people from the same world in different parallel timelines."

Richest Man: "For specifics, look through the memory copies marked 'Marvel'—you'll learn a lot."

For Loki, Tony didn't dislike him.

In fact, the more memory copies he watched, the more he found himself appreciating the guy.

He added a certain amount of comic relief.

But appreciating was one thing—he wouldn't go easy on the Loki from his own world.

Loki: "So I really am not Odin's son?"

Ordinary Group Leader: "Not only are you not Odin's son—you are a Frost Giant from Jötunheimr, enemy of Asgard. And not just any Frost Giant's son: you are the son of Laufey, King of the Frost Giants."

Ordinary Group Leader: "Because your stature was so small compared to the other giants, he kept you hidden away all along."

Ordinary Group Leader: "Then Odin invaded and found you in the temple. He took you back to raise you."

Ordinary Group Leader: "It seemed he wanted to make you the King of Jötunheimr and Thor the King of Asgard—the two of you joined in eternal union, maintaining peace between the two races."

Ordinary Group Leader: "But that's how it was supposed to be. You're not Odin's biological son, so of course the way he treated you was different from how he treated Thor."

Ordinary Group Leader: "Odin himself probably never imagined that in your future, you'd pull off a double dose of filial piety—and a particularly brutal one at that. You even killed your biological father."

Shendu: "..."

This experience looked all wrong to him.

At this moment, Loki was staring at Su Yunqing's words in the chat group like he had seen a ghost.

Not only was he not Odin's son—he was a Frost Giant, and the son of Laufey, King of the Frost Giants at that?!

His future self would kill his own biological father?

And do something to Odin too?

Loki felt a headache coming on.

The one thing that was certain was this: he would never follow Odin's plan to become King of Jötunheimr.

What he had always wanted was Odin's recognition—to become King of Asgard.

It was easy to imagine what he would do during Odin's sleep if he hadn't joined the chat group.

But now, he decided to watch the memory copies the group owner had uploaded.

To see what his future self and his foolish brother had done.

Glory of the Northern God: "Woof woof, woof woof."

Glory of the Northern God: "It feels so good to be able to speak again."

Glory of the Northern God: "The war is finally over!"

Glory of the Northern God: "Shiba Inu happy.jpg"

Glory of the Northern God: "Did anyone new join the chat group?"

Glory of the Northern God: "Shiba Inu confused.jpg"

Just as Loki was about to open the memory copy, he saw this message appear in the chat group.

He hadn't intended to pay it any attention—but for some reason, seeing this name gave him a strange feeling.

His foolish brother was always going on about things like "for the glory of Asgard."

Loki: "Are you a god?"

Glory of the Northern God: "Of course!"

Glory of the Northern God: "I am Thor, God of Thunder—son of the Divine King Hong Qigong!"

Loki: "???"

Loki: "Thor? God of Thunder?"

Did this person know what they were saying?

And what was this "Divine King Hong Qigong"? Shouldn't it be Odin, King of the Gods?

Glory of the Northern God: "Woof woof! I am Thor, God of Thunder—for the glory of the Northern Gods!"

Glory of the Northern God: "You've heard of my story?"

Feeling that this newcomer seemed to know something about him, Shiba Inu Thor asked curiously.

Loki: "@Ordinary Group Leader, is he really Thor?"

Ordinary Group Leader: "You can think of him as a parallel-universe Thor. As for Divine King Hong Qigong... you can just treat him the same as Odin."

Loki: "But why is he barking like a dog?"

Ordinary Group Leader: "Because he is a dog."

Loki: "???"
