Kelly stepped out of the dressing room, her cheeks puffed, both hands tucked into the pockets of her leather jacket.
Her violet hair was tied back with a black ribbon, bouncing behind her back as she walked.
"Meow."
Orion suddenly appeared on her shoulders, his mouth stretched into a yawn.
Kelly stopped to look at him, one eyebrow raised before her lips curled into a smile.
"We aren't doing anything exciting today, or at least that's not in my plans. I'm just going to visit a library to figure some stuff out. Ever heard of a library, little sugar?"
The cat turned to look at her, blinking rapidly.
Kelly rolled her eyes as she walked out of her bedroom and into the passage.
"Of course you haven't. Come on, it's high time you saw one anyway."
She stepped into the sitting room, Yulvaris appearing right in front of her at that very moment.
The absurdly tall woman was already walking through the front door the instant she appeared.
"Try to stay out of trouble, human."
