People in Konoha have continued living in a tense environment as they don't know when an inner conflict could burst.
The adults were worried about it, but the kids continued as always, just enjoying the happiness of having vacations after a long time. Many of them made promises not to slack off their training but after a week many of them had already forgotten about those words.
Their fathers didn't tell them anything. They understand that most kids find the training boring, and if they didn't have any external pressure like getting good grades, they couldn't care less.
And if they didn't care about that, they care even less about the existence of the kid who disappeared a year ago, Naruto.
The kids in the class where the team was still remember his silhouette, but not everyone remembers his name. Only the kids from the clans and Sakura, who's Ino's friend.
Although they remember him, they were annoyed because Sasuke and Hinata kept training more intensely and their fathers were always whispering about how useless their heirs are compared to them. Because of that, they had to continue their practice even during vacations but their fathers told them that was okay with two hours each day.
Sasuke has been waiting for the master that Gai promised him to look for and Hinata has continued her training. This vacation she wants to increase the hours she spends training every day.
The energy isn't a problem, she just has to be careful to not get injured badly and to help with that, Gai asked a friend of his who was good in medical ninjutsu.
Without having time to spend with her sister, Hanabi has been bored the last few days and with nothing else to do, she decided to train more with her father's training guide.
While the kids were suffering training in the village and the adults were biting their nails with worry, the kid who they consider a demon was enjoying his days in the tower, far from any conflict.
In the last days, Naruto has continued killing boars and got another two pieces, just one more to gather 5 pieces at a time.
Motivated seeing the progress, Naruto stopped caring about tearing apart his clothes. Before he knew he could fix his clothes, he was always very careful. He didn't want to be in a naked middle fight.
Although his clothes look bad and have several seams, he didn't care about that. The holes in his shirt and pants were filled with fabric of the same color.
When he got the materials, he thought that the color couldn't be the same as his clothes but as soon as he thought about it, the color appeared and everything became easier.
His shirt color was a pale blue. At first it wasn't of that color, it turns out like that after all these months of him washing it after every battle. It cleans the blood, but also the color it has.
His pants remained the same, being grey meaning that it's hard to notice any change and only becomes a little clear.
The fabric has the same color but the things he made with that didn't have any shape and it was a burden addition to the existing piece. Naruto felt ashamed after being so presumptuous before telling he could do it only to turn like that.
So he tried to not mention it and change the topic every time the Dwarf asked him. He continued practicing it and the original material of the clothes became less and less with each day.
After covering the new hole, Naruto was ready to go to the secret room.
Seeing the five wooden pieces in his inventory, Naruto selected the option to combine them and in the next instant, a board wood head appeared in the same position.
"Eh? What's this? I have to search on the floor as the previous one? Ugh..."
Naruto complained, he didn't have any problems but he just didn't want to waste time searching in this place without any hint. As he resigned himself, he noticed something.
While he was moving in circles in the room, he saw that the eyes of the head weren't in the same position like the first time he got it.
"It could be?"
With a suspicion in mind, Naruto began to move around the room with his eyes fixed in his head.
As he continued moving on it, he saw how the eyes remained looking in the same direction no matter how he moved it. The head's eyes didn't hesitate and remained the same.
"Ah, this is way easier than I thought."
Happy with his discovery, Naruto was ready to search for the secret. The sensation of finding something that should be hidden always captivates him.
With renewed enthusiasm, Naruto says goodbye to the Dwarf and leaves the zone running as fast as he can.
He was on the 3rd floor for the shortest time but he had already made a great progress and in two or three weeks max he could clear it, including the boss.
The head guided him not to a zone with boars, but a zone he had already cleared. The weed in this place was taller and covers a bigger area. As he got closer to the wall, Naruto slowed his pace and carefully took steps with his eyes fixed in the head.
Every time he went in the wrong direction, the head corrected him and moved its eyes. In this zone the floor felt harder and the weeds seemed too artificial, as it was covering something, but the area was too large that he could only follow the guide.
After 10 minutes of continuous searching, Naruto noticed how after he took several steps, the head on his hands suddenly turned back as he passed the spot.
"Gotcha!" With a bright smile, Naruto happily hummed and pulled away the grass. Once he cleared the spot, he didn't notice anything strange.
Crouching on the floor, Naruto tried to find a crack or something but it was useless.
Knowing that it won't work, Naruto took the head and after several tries, he found a spot where the head was in the nearest spot.
Dropping it, Naruto channeled chakra on his hands. Veins popped out in both of them and he could feel how his strength increased. It was more notable than in the second floor, the days he had spent in this one had helped him to make incredible progress.
Using both hands, Naruto began to dig. He thought it would be harder, but at the first touch of his fingers to the ground, he didn't feel any resistance and easily moved the dirt.
He continued digging and after removing almost one meter of dirt, he found a small chest at the bottom of the hole.
"Hahaha! The third one!"
Loudly laughing, Naruto takes the chest and jumps off the hole. Before returning to the safe zone, Naruto looked around trying to find the head but it was nowhere to be found.
Supposing that it had disappeared the moment he grabbed the chest, Naruto stopped thinking about it and ran back for the same path.
It didn't take him long to return and less than 30 minutes later he arrived.
With the chest in hands, he approached the Dwarf and showed it to him.
"Look! This one was the easiest! Soon we could leave this place!" With a smile covering his face, Naruto happily shared the good news.
Looking at the kid covered in dirt, the Dwarf was speechless but it didn't take long for him to show the same smile.
"That's good, but first go and take a shower. You're all dirty."
"Hehe, I won't be long!"
Feeling a little embarrassed, Naruto quickly made his home-made shower and he took the opportunity to wash his clothes.
After 20 minutes, Naruto was ready and approached the Dwarf.
"I hope it gives me something useful."
The Dwarf waited in silence, watching with curiosity the small chest.
Taking a deep breath, Naruto opened the chest and a small light ball was suspended in the air.
"Eh? What's this?" Naruto was confused, but the Dwarf has a thoughtful look.
Maybe? Isn't powerful, but it will be a good addition to him.
"Sir, do you know this?"
He gave him a speechless look"Why are you asking me? Just look at its information."
Focusing his mind, Naruto tried to look at the item information.

"But, that doesn't mean I will become less and less human?"
"Ahem... are you sure you're still human?"
"...Don't say that, huhhh. Well." Naruto made a face uglier than crying and changed it in the next second, ignoring the fact that worried him.
Without giving it a second thought, Naruto used the item.
The moment the light entered his body, he could feel the difference. Something has changed and it was a huge change.
His nose becomes tens of times more sensitive and smells he didn't know existed before were now perceived by him.
But the bigger change was that he heard that something inside of him was broken and his body felt the immediate relief. The tiredness he felt after these weeks of intense training were slowly disappearing and he felt how his body could now resist even more.
While he was feeling the changes with his eyes closed, the Dwarf was looking at him the whole time.
"As I thought, this kid isn't human." He said with a look of realization.
"There's no chance a human could have that talent, especially in that aspect. Just a small trait and he changes more than he should. Heh." He has his suspicions before, but now it's confirmed. He could be anything but human.
Minutes passed and after a long time, Naruto opened his eyes and immediately called out the window system.

I love the [Adaptability] trait. It has so many possibilities.
