72 hours before the present....
Nathan was typing away on his computer, writing a death notice.
After entering all the information, he selected the names of a few students. The names listed were: Ray Dem, Amy, Michael, and Vorden Blade.
He sighed.
"As for the rest, including Erin, Quinn, Sarah… unfortunately, they don't have any living relatives or parents." Nathan rubbed his forehead in frustration. "I still can't believe Duke is making me do this. But he's smart at times like these… faking the news."
One of The letter read:
Dear Parents,
It is with deep sadness that I, Nathan, inform you of the passing of one of our students, Vorden Blade.
Two days into the Orange Planet expedition, we received terrible news. In a tragic accident, your son was killed during a beast attack. The military did everything we could, but unfortunately, we were unable to recover his body.
Our hearts go out to his family and friends during this difficult time.
And with a single click, the letter was sent.

Back on the Orange Planet, at present—
It had already been 5 days since the portal outing had begun, and strangely enough, everything had been going far too smoothly.
Fex, Layla, Logan, Vicky, and Peter's team had managed to come out on top. Their team had scanned the maximum number of areas and had even gained favour from Faye.
Many students in the initial days struggled mainly because, without even properly checking the threat level of the beasts, they kept activating their alarms for creatures that could easily be dealt with. As a result, they were heavily scolded by the teachers and military staff.
But thanks to Logan, Fex, and Vicky, their team was far ahead of everyone else.
Finally, Fex spoke up.
"Okay guys… something is seriously wrong with this place. I mean, where are all the beasts on this planet? The strongest things I've seen are basic-tier boulders at best. But where are the intermediate-tier beasts or the stronger ones?" He let out an annoyed sigh. "I thought things were finally going to get interesting… what a shame."
Then after a pause, he added quietly,
"Though… I wonder what Quinn and the others are doing right now."
Dell suddenly cleared his throat and shouted loudly to the entire class.
"Well, it seems like you guys are doing fine, and I don't see any monsters nearby. So what I think is—we should continue moving forward!"
Underneath all that confidence, Dell was ridiculously happy.
"Oh, this loser of class is doing way better than expected. This is the perfect chance to show everyone that my class is the best among the others—even if we're considered the weakest."
"And thanks to those high-level ability users, I'm definitely getting a promotion after this!"
Behind him, the whole class shouted in unison,
"Let's go, sir!"
From a distance, Silver observed the students carefully through her long-range vision, keeping everything under control.
The unnecessary alarms had finally stopped coming in, allowing Silver to relax for the first time in a while instead of constantly monitoring everyone.
As she continued walking, a faint vibration suddenly came from one of the bracelets on her wrist.
The moment she felt it, her heart skipped a beat.
The bracelet was a communication signal from the Vampire Planet.
Immediately, Silver isolated herself from the others and activated the signal privately. But for a second, she was confused—the message wasn't a live communication.
It was a recording.
Checking the logs, her surprise only deepened when she realized the message had been sent over a week ago, yet had only just arrived now.
Silver frowned.
"What is happening?"
Taking a deep breath, she began listening to the recording.
"Silver… Silver…"
The voice was rough and panicked.
"Damn it… they're tampering with our signal transmissions…"
Silver instantly recognized the voice.
It was Lee Sanguinis- her father and th leader of the 13th family.
"Silver, the vampire settlement is under attack by the Second Family. Cindy Cha was voted as queen by the Vampire Council… but things quickly turned for the worse."
Lee was breathing heavily, huffing and panting. In the background, the sounds of fighting, screaming, and explosions echoed through the recording.
"It's a good thing Fex escaped… and thanks to that, you managed to escape too."
His voice became desperate.
"Silver… use everything in your power. Use the time you have on Earth. Find the other vampires hiding there… and come save the vampire settlement."
"The entire system has fallen, we didn't know she would turn out to be the worst person to lead the Vampire world.
They are actively blocking all signals , i don't know if this will reach you... They are also tampering with our portals. We can't escape either. Silver find a way, I know you can. And that's an order!"
Suddenly, the transmission distorted.
The message abruptly cut off.
Her eyes were wide open, how did everything turned out like this? And why was the 2nd family attacking the vampire settlement. How was that even possible?
I still don't have a clear picture about the settlement, what really is happening. Am I too late, but moreover how will I find the other Vampires...
"No, i should take fex with me and return to the vampire planet."
As she made a mental resolve about what to do next, the earth suddenly quaked beneath her feet.
A violent tremor shook the entire terrain, followed by the ground splitting apart with deafening cracks. In the distance, terrified screams from the students suddenly echoed through the air.
